So we are a supposed contender for having the lowest budget of the whole league and we’re signing 2 additional coaches ?

Wouldn’t that be better spent on players ?

Do the people at the club not realise it’s players we need ?

There’s supposed to be another coach coming in as well according to matt.

What the feck is going on ?

o you think this squad is good enough in league 2.

Watson, Collins, Taft, Onariase, Rowe, O’Malley, Baker, Hyppolyte, Hallam, Spence, Beestin, Pugh, Shrimpton, Wilson, Gallimore, Loft, Green, Jarvis, Dunnwald-Turan, Jessop, Kenyon.

Seen as that squad consists of Hippolyte, Turan and Jarvis. What do you think ?

Shrimpton, wilson, Galimore, collins and Baker are untried kids and Pugh even though he’s been here a while has hardly had a sniff.

Watson couldn’t catch a cold. Squad has some talent but on the whole it’s absolutely shocking.

Nice to know the communication between the club and the fans has been restored.

Ok saying you’re not disappointed but if we can’t afford/attract those two, who the hell are we going to end up with ?

Telling you now, we’ll wait till the end and pick up the bottom of the barrel dregs that nobody else wants.

I hope to god we have luck on our side when it comes to cheap signings because if not, in my eye’s we’re certs to go down.

In my opinion we need about 8/9 players. I’m pretty sure Swann said we’re looking to sign 5…not looking forward to this.

So we’ve been priced out of a RB from Grimsby town who was injured for large parts of last season and Slocombe who didn’t even want to come back here despite us tabling an offer.

Jesus christ…this is how far back Swann has taken us.

He can be the greatest battler in the world…still doesn’t change the fact our current most creative midfielder has spent 70+ % of his time in the treatment room.

I just hope we snag a good one on loan to help us out.

Burny he is the first part of the jigsaw

I just hope we aren’t relying on Hallam for the midfield creative spark when there’s a big chance he’ll be injured for most of it.

If we sign a more creative midfielder, fair enough. Reduced budget though and we already have Hallam, spence, Beestin and Kenyon soon.

Will we even go out for another CM player ?

A cheap loan for the season at a push but I can’t see another permanent one coming in.

Doom and gloom, Random, some say a clogger, Stephen Dawson could put his boot in but was a leader

No doubt he sounds the type of character we need but what’s worrying me and by the looks of it other posters is the fact we need CREATIVITY.

Spence is of that ilk and Beestin can do that and get forward, we need a more creative player who can spot a pass.

Who in the squad can really pick a good pass out and set chances up besides Beestin ?… who’s more of a chance taker than a pure creator.

We do need leader types but we also need creativity inputting into the squad, if not we’re fooked. No amount of battling will save us if we haven’t got the guile to create chances.

No Gillead and no Eisa…leaves a fairly sizeable gap.

I’ve seen on twitter that we’re supposedly linked to a national league striker.

We’ve been in for Fallowfield as well from Harrogate and we’re told he’s not for sale. Another RB after we discovered we couldn’t even afford Grimsby’s.

Sign of the time folks !

    “Trained Marxist”?

Lenin en-route from Switzerland to Russia?

They don’t half come up with some daft stuff!

Aye and let’s not forget this stuff has come from You Tube, I mean everybody knows everything posted on You Tube is true, right? 🤔🙄😂

She said those exact words in an interview, go look it up. Trust me, you’ll find that it’s as real as it gets.

I clicked on a post on twitter so looked up the video on youtube, which obviously came from there.

This is some info on Cullors

Cullors, 36, was the protégé of Eric Mann, former agitator of the Weather Underground domestic terror organization, and spent years absorbing the Marxist-Leninist ideology that shaped her worldview.

“The first thing, I think, is that we actually do have an ideological frame. Myself and Alicia in particular are trained organizers,” she said, referring to BLM co-founder Alicia Garza.

“We are trained Marxists. We are super-versed on, sort of, ideological theories. And I think that what we really tried to do is build a movement that could be utilized by many, many black folk,”

The last 2 paragraphs actually came from her own mouth.

Just about sums this movement up.

Have you seen the video on youtube where one of the American founders of the Black Lives Matter movement, a certain Patrisse Cullors openly admits she’s a trained Marxist ?

    I’ll dig it out.

I saw it on youtube last week.

I think Belgium will win it personally. Last competition for Martinez managing the Belgium side so they’ll go all out to win it for him.

Fantastic squad of players too. I think they will pull it off.

he has shown that he can be a very good playe

Nobody is disputing the fact he’s really talented. The point in question is that his work rate and effort for the most part was disrespectful.

Loft proved last season he’s a capable player with the goals he scored. Green also in my opinion proved he has some ability.

I can’t for the life of me think how you can lump those two in with Hippolyte, Jarvis and Turan…who really need sticking straight in the nearest rubbish dump.

John McAtee came to this club having played about 10 minutes of pro football, he was a YT at Shrewsbury, he came originally as a youth team player, had about 6 or 7 good games and then went to shit.

Give me a Loft any day over him..doesn’t possess the same level of ability but least he runs himself into the floor.

How many did he score last season, 9 goals ?

Not that great by any means but he showed enough about him to suggest he’ll be a fairly good striker at lg two level.

Personally glad McAtee has gone. No doubt he will probably shine at that level “providing he can be bothered” but in the manner he performed while here, he wouldn’t have benefited us if he hung around for any longer.

McAtee moving on is best for all parties.

Good riddance. Lazy little shite bag can display his crap work rate somewhere else.

I listened to his Grimsby interview….

    “Minimal improvement on Watson”

I thought Slocombe in the promotion season was very, very good…didn’t he win the golden glove award ?

33yrs old now, more games under his belt and seen him a few times for Notts County and looks a much better keeper. One thing I did notice was that he was way more commanding than he used to be, which was one of this downsides.

Gurnelista, people from all races/ethnicities suffer racism on a daily basis. This isn’t exclusive to the race of black people.

I just don’t understand if this movement was for real good, it would choose not to band together with the 90+% of non racist white people.

“I understand that point of view WG, but the problem with only saying ‘all lives matter’ is that it loses the focus on black lives”

Anybody could quite easily counteract that and say with this movement all about black lives mattering, aren’t the other races/ethnicities being ignored ?

The whole ‘take a knee’ thing is pretty straightforward.

When players take a knee they are showing their support for anti-racism. By logical extension if you boo when players when they take a knee, you are showing support of racism.

One thing I don’t get about this black lives matter is, if they we’re so concerned as a group about equality wouldn’t it make more sense to start a much bigger group which involves the vast majority of white people who aren’t racist ?

Then we could all tackle it together as a collective so then the movement actually bands the vast majority of white people together who aren’t racist, along with the black/foreign residents who feel wronged to try to eliminate racism.

The whole movement is devisive for that very reason. We should have all joined together in a group “called all lives matter” and tackled it together as a collective.

The vast majority of white people “non racist” are probably getting pissed off now because they feel they’re being lumped in with the small, ignorant, piece of shit minority of racists.

The message this movement has is right but I can’t help thinking this was started up to cause more division. I can’t for the life of me think why anybody would think this would be a good idea.

That will change before long with Gillead and Karacan having plenty of suitors. I hope Swann pays Jarvis and Turan off with the Dawson money, we can’t have that crap around the squad again.

I always liked Slocombe, not the most commanding at times but was starting to become more vocal and then got released.

Playing for Notts County at the minute in their bid to get promoted..good experience at 32yrs old with decent amount of games behind him.

I think he’ll be better than Howard and Watson. I nearly didn’t include Watson because quite frankly, most keepers would be an improvement on him.

Give the pair of them a few quid and kick them out.

Watson will only be understudy surely. Even Swanster sanctioned a move for Howard after 7 games as mentioned above.

Even he grasped he wasn’t good enough. Took him a season too long to realise but he got there in the end.
