I was expecting a cracking end to end game but you cannot expect to turn up for the last 10 minutes and think you can win a game I’m afraid we looked very poor today a game to far, promotion next season? UTI
So obvious it was about resting players rather than giving others more game time, just like premier league clubs treat the fa cup in the earlier rounds, managers all say the same thing squad rotation, completely forgetting the travelling fans paying good money in expectation about their team doing well, treated badly, let down not saying before the game, I’m going to use squad rotation or I’ve got a few niggling injuries so I will not say anything, treating fans with contempt we are professionals what could us fans possibly know,we know bull when we here it,just like when all the international players drop out of squads then make a miracle recovery for thier next club match!

Thanks carlton, your winning goal in the play off final will go down as a big moment in scunnys history, you will always be remembered fondly for that, good luck for the future except if you happen to play against us of course uti
Love his energy, never giving in attitude, but always let himself down when it came to the final pass or shot, all the best but as we try to push higher in this league and above he’s out of his depth.
All the best kev, always kept scunny in your heart, never forgot your roots.
Has Mr butler said anything about the game at all,or have I missed it?
He wasn’t that good when he was here before, left us 3 years ago and played about 20 games since hardly inspiring, he will stand on his line watching again when the crosses come in especially from corners, another dracula, good shot stopper but scared of crosses.
Not jake Eastwood, nickname dracula, good shot stopper but scared of crosses.
Stefan mols, curzon ,midfielder looked a class act when he played against us at the attis.
Most scunny fans have know for months that our away form is utter crap for a team that has aspirations for promotion, away fans turn up in huge numbers and are treated to absolute dross time after time promotion winning teams in any league find away to win,we look anything but a team that’s going up,this team at home can beat anyone and away lose to anyone, that’s got to be down to the manager somethings not right with his tactics away from home!

Butler is trying to keep whitehall and beck happy, playing them together isn’t working, whitehall looks totally lost, and I have yet to see why we have signed beck shows absolutely nothing!
if we go part-time, you will be lucky if the crowds reach 2000,part-time and the dream of ever returning to the efl is dead forever, we will be bit better supported team than brigg, bottesford, winterton but that is a scenario that surely can’t be contemplated.

I’m afraid it’s showing that butler is a very very defensive manager,it’s OK having the idea of defensive stability, but not at all costs, from the midfield set up to up top ,no idea, no width,I’ve been watching scunny for over 50 years and that today has to rank in one one the worst performances ever, butlers tactics were no different to pub football, play with no width and you are reduced to hoof ball, best squad in the league, not a chance in hell, utter utter rubbish, but we kept a clean sheet what a, crap way to keep playing your football ,crowds will start dropping and the board will have to act!

If it’s luke williams that played for us years back, decent but his injury record is appalling.
I’m afraid alot of the feel good factor has gone ,this is dismal, promotion you are having a laugh
Set up today was awful, barrows struggled and Beeston on the left has been rubbish there all season, so called big players didn’t turn up,butterfield, roberts, whitehall, sorry jimmy you got it all wrong today, but I will always be thankful to you for helping to hold this club together in our darkest days, but it’s time to go.

The detractors on here are not true scunny fans, have a moan by all means but not about something that may or may not happen! UTI.
Give it a bloody rest.

When at first it was suggested to move to ilkeston for training i thought ok as a short term measure, but the more I thought about it,some ground staff are having to be there alot of the time plus what about players visiting schools ,hospital visits, community training days, they would not like coming over from ilkeston after training,so it does make more sense to carry on the traing at glanford Park as ground staff being there anyway plus it keeps it more of a community feel as it should. Mr hilton came over quite well, seemed to make alot of sense to me,give the guy a chance and let’s see what happens, all the conspiracy theories are not going to help anyone,if he doesn’t do what he says he’s going to do,then he deserves some stick, until then us as fans should support him 100 percent. UTI.
Not playing 2 up front when you need a win is mind boggling, obviously afraid of getting thumped, but give it ago at least its cheating the fans otherwise, today was utter dross, like many on here is the manager out of his depth ,at the the moment you would have to say yes.

I’m sorry but we need a win so I will play with 4 midfielders and no width to supply my 2 forwards, what planet is he from, last 10,15 minutes, I know lads put some crosses into the box and we might get something ,which we nearly did ,it’s taken 75 minutes to come to that conclusion, you couldn’t make it up,buck your ideas up jimmy especially at home give it ago at least.uti.

Well done Derby fans, thanks for the support, it’s easy to support the big clubs but only true footy fans know what it’s like at the sharp end.UTI.

Utter shambles, over 50 years supporting the iron, its never been this bad,i feel sorry for these young players, the people running the club have no clue, player investment needed or I’m afraid it will be more of the same,I sincerely hope we get a new owner and quick!

Cox’s recruitment at the beginning of this season was awful, anybody who knows anything about football will tell you that if you don’t score goals, at any level you will struggle our so called forwards, a joke if cox thought that was good enough it is totally beyond me ,from the very first friendlys of the season you could see that at times we were playing not to bad but we hardly ever looked like having a shot never mind scoring, yes we had a pretty poor budget but on this site on more than one occasion fans said we need strength down the spine of the team,in other words good players in vital positions and one of them at least was a proven scorer at this level,it didn’t happen, and that’s why we are where we are ,I believe hill came in and thought this is the worst bunch of players he’d ever seen,he did what he could in January, but unfortunately its not working, let’s give him a chance with is recruitment in the summer before we start calling for him to go. Mr Hill has his work cut out,he will have seen what the fans have seen all season,a promising first half then the team disappear, midfield really good first half, second half completely useless, and surely now he can see that scrimshaw cannot hold the ball up and runs around not really ever affecting a game a luxury player that will not get you anywhere, midfielders that concentrate for 90 odd minutes and another striker that can put defender’s under pressure and two hard working wingers who can put the ball in the box instead of having players who are happy keeping possession as long as they play it BACKWARDS, you win games putting the other team under pressure, concede midfield and 9 out of 10 games you lose, not alot to sort out mr hill, good luck,up the iron.

Nobody is in the least interested in players training really well in training, it’s match day that counts, I’m afraid cox is struggling, and when you put your best midfield player on the left instead of the centre, the only midfielder to tackle and close players down is beyond me,and how wood gets in above pugh and millen above rowe I will never know, times up cox.
