Good luck Carlton. Always gave 100% and scored some very timely goals.
His first touch not quite good enough for top half National League but will do well at KL.

Good luck Carlton thanks for your time here and the goal that started us on the long road back to the promised land hopefully 🤞
Does this mean Dec will return from his season long loan early

“Does this mean Dec will return from his season long loan early”

I doubt it, we’ve signed Pat Jones from Chester

That appears to rule out any return for Dec this season anyway
Welcome Pat hopefully you enjoy your time with us

Another winger on the books, wouldn’t it be great if we played a system to incorporate two wingers and attack the hell out of teams, just a thought.

Jones was highly thought of at Chester by the fans well on their forum anyway, also one mentioned getting Finn signing a new contract quickly while EFL clubs have been looking ( not necessarily at him) good look to him anyway.

Apparently Hartlepool were also very interested in Jones and made a move. Yesterday an unnamed club made a bid, must have been the Iron…

Carlton will always be a club legend for that goal but sadly I think NLN is his level. Hope he does well!

From what I’ve seen written online by Chester fans and others this Jones fella is a bit of a coup! Not sure how many wingers Butler thinks we can fit in the squad though (Roberts, Smith, Dausch, Hurst, now Jones, Beestin started there most recently at Aldershot, Howe if/when he comes back).

Maybe, if he’s got enough wingers, he’ll stop playing non wingers there.

Wonder how he got his international clearance through so quickly lol, ruled Smith out and he was signed a day before a game.

My Chester mate has just messaged me re: Jones.

Said definitely their best player this season and no way they would have kept him.

Bit of a bolt out of the blue (no pun intended).

Hope he’s better than Smith, shocking again thus far.

Smith looks a shadow of the version we saw. Missed another sitter. Saying that though, he has been playing this season in scotland at CM, it shows too.

Smith to be the worst signing ever ??

The Major says that it’s Kenny Milne!

£4k a week and a crock for two years!
£416k plus any win bonuses the team earned during his two year holiday with us!

Surely the worst is Iwelumo, the first living oak tree ever to attempt to play football yet looked more comfortable in a public park being static with all the other tree species around him.

There must be a reason why Smith ain’t cuttin’ the mustard.
There is a super player in there!

Maybe just finding it tougher in NL Les. It’s a step up from NLN and the Scottish farmers league.

    Doesn’t come close..

Tyrone O’Neill will always be up there, how on earth did he get given the number 9 shirt will always baffle me.

Yes, we have a great signing in Pat Jones, but ffs, he is right footed and Butler plays him on the left wing

Yes, to balance the left footed Roberts on the right. Cut inside and shoot with your strong foot must be the orders.
