Gone out on loan. UTWI
March 10, 2026 at 5:26 pm #317295Sold for an undisclosed fee, according to OWS
March 10, 2026 at 5:38 pm #317297Good luck Carlton. Always gave 100% and scored some very timely goals.
His first touch not quite good enough for top half National League but will do well at KL.4 users thanked author for this post.
March 10, 2026 at 5:44 pm #317298Good luck Carlton thanks for your time here and the goal that started us on the long road back to the promised land hopefully 🤞
Does this mean Dec will return from his season long loan early1 user thanked author for this post.
March 10, 2026 at 5:45 pm #317299Needed too much time and too many touches for this league.Likeable and had most wanting him to succeed.

I doubt it, we’ve signed Pat Jones from Chester
March 10, 2026 at 6:27 pm #317301That appears to rule out any return for Dec this season anyway
Welcome Pat hopefully you enjoy your time with usMarch 10, 2026 at 6:46 pm #317302Another winger on the books, wouldn’t it be great if we played a system to incorporate two wingers and attack the hell out of teams, just a thought.

March 10, 2026 at 6:47 pm #317303Jones was highly thought of at Chester by the fans well on their forum anyway, also one mentioned getting Finn signing a new contract quickly while EFL clubs have been looking ( not necessarily at him) good look to him anyway.
March 10, 2026 at 7:13 pm #317305Apparently Hartlepool were also very interested in Jones and made a move. Yesterday an unnamed club made a bid, must have been the Iron…
March 10, 2026 at 7:18 pm #317306Carlton will always be a club legend for that goal but sadly I think NLN is his level. Hope he does well!
From what I’ve seen written online by Chester fans and others this Jones fella is a bit of a coup! Not sure how many wingers Butler thinks we can fit in the squad though (Roberts, Smith, Dausch, Hurst, now Jones, Beestin started there most recently at Aldershot, Howe if/when he comes back).

March 10, 2026 at 7:23 pm #317307Maybe, if he’s got enough wingers, he’ll stop playing non wingers there.
March 10, 2026 at 7:26 pm #317308Wonder how he got his international clearance through so quickly lol, ruled Smith out and he was signed a day before a game.
March 10, 2026 at 7:37 pm #317309My Chester mate has just messaged me re: Jones.
Said definitely their best player this season and no way they would have kept him.
Bit of a bolt out of the blue (no pun intended).

March 10, 2026 at 8:47 pm #317317Hope he’s better than Smith, shocking again thus far.

March 10, 2026 at 9:58 pm #317329Smith looks a shadow of the version we saw. Missed another sitter. Saying that though, he has been playing this season in scotland at CM, it shows too.

March 10, 2026 at 10:44 pm #317338Smith to be the worst signing ever ??
March 11, 2026 at 9:07 am #317361Smith to be the worst signing ever ??
The Major says that it’s Kenny Milne!
£4k a week and a crock for two years!
£416k plus any win bonuses the team earned during his two year holiday with us!March 11, 2026 at 9:49 am #317367Surely the worst is Iwelumo, the first living oak tree ever to attempt to play football yet looked more comfortable in a public park being static with all the other tree species around him.
March 11, 2026 at 10:09 am #317373There must be a reason why Smith ain’t cuttin’ the mustard.
There is a super player in there!1 user thanked author for this post.
March 11, 2026 at 12:11 pm #317387Maybe just finding it tougher in NL Les. It’s a step up from NLN and the Scottish farmers league.
March 12, 2026 at 2:20 pm #317431Smith to be the worst signing ever ??
Doesn’t come close..
Tyrone O’Neill will always be up there, how on earth did he get given the number 9 shirt will always baffle me.
March 12, 2026 at 3:06 pm #317433Yes, we have a great signing in Pat Jones, but ffs, he is right footed and Butler plays him on the left wing
March 12, 2026 at 3:12 pm #317435Yes, to balance the left footed Roberts on the right. Cut inside and shoot with your strong foot must be the orders.
March 12, 2026 at 3:14 pm #317437Well there’s no Beck to cross it to I suppose
March 12, 2026 at 7:05 pm #317449Thanks carlton, your winning goal in the play off final will go down as a big moment in scunnys history, you will always be remembered fondly for that, good luck for the future except if you happen to play against us of course uti
