The National League take a percentage, they call it a levy, which they will take from the net proceeds of the game after all expenses for both clubs (and including the travel and hotel costs for National League board members and officers who attend the match). The remaining proceeds are split 50% each to the 2 clubs.
I tried to find out what percentage they take last season but couldn’t find any info other than it’s agreed with all clubs at the start of the season.

They will have taken a lot of money into the bank account, but by the time it has been shared out with the opposition, National League and their dignitaries it won’t be a massive windfall for the club unfortunately.
At least it means a good level of support at the match.

Going back to Pele’s original post, I’m sorry for Matlock getting relegated over an admin error but just like us trying to get promoted it’s the results over the the whole season that do the damage. Yesterday’s game was made for Beck, shame he’s injured.
Just watched the KLT highlights on their channel, what an incredible block by Carlton from Fadera’s shot. From where I was stood I thought he’d just missed but no Carlton stuck a leg out

Well at least I know then that we are charity for young players to have experience days at Wembley not a professional full time club trying to get out of non league.

For me Shrimpton walks into our current team at the very least ahead of Scales.

I get that but if Wembley is the reason to leave him on loan then we aren’t really serious about promotion. We’ve got 2 important games next week that could still win us automatic promotion and if not then at least give us an advantage in the playoffs. Shrimpton is in good form and scoring goals, all hands needed on our deck.
