I think Matt has problems.
Games for Saturday still not up.
But Cox hasn’t got 40% and the longer in stays in charge below 20% is imminent.

Totally in agreement with you BarnardFoxtonBarker.
Could lose far more than we spend if we get relegated, but yes we have to do something because every game is a likely point
loser.I no longer watch the Quest EFL highlights who wants to watch the low points ??

BARNARD, FOXTON and BARKER – what would the cost be if relegated to the National League. We have all seen that some clubs can go on an even worse failure spiral.

NIGEL ADKINS had a 41.70% win rate while at Scunthorpe United.
Left under good terms, compensation agreed and of he went.
If we go down, the Swan will pocket the parachute payments, bonus for him.
The parachute is I believe is for 1 season only and not that much either !
It is a thought. Something needs to happen and very soon.

Huge job for whoever and gets bigger for each game where points are given away.
Is Nigel the saviour ? Anyone want to discuss.

Once that gap starts and 3 or 4 clubs are in the bottom group it will be hard to get out of it. 5 – 10 more matches could be enough to end our league days – it is that serious.
He won’t sell – the ego says so.

Tactically inept, little imagination. Worse for me is after last nights game he said Barrow had 16 shots and we had 10 !!
Iron Stats produced a stat that should embarrass the Manager. Up to the 72nd minute Barrow had had 4 shots and us 9. From the 73rd minute to the final whistle Barrow had a further 12 and us 1 !!
That is a disgrace, someone decided to defend and from 3 pts got 1 !!
Then the substitutions took a forward off and put a midfielder on then having no outlet for clearances we were constantly defending takes off a mid player for a striker !!Cam Wilson would have loved a chance but we seem reluctant to encourage our younger players.

Going for a win – must be crackers !!
3 or 5 indicates targeting which usually delivers zero points.
Many say Alexander should have stayed. For me – no. We were dropping down the league from 1st where we were on merit. GA tried to make us something we weren’t, why change what was working – we would have won that league.
You cannot even call this a ‘circus’ !!

Do not understand why Cam Wilson has ‘gone’ into the wastelands ! Must be his turn I guess.
In all his home academy games I never saw Wilson lose interest, forget his role or fail to contribute. Gets opportunities on the bench and ………..there he was gone. Yet he contributes well in his recent academy appearances.
Give the lad a chance, certainly no worse than Hippolyte or Green ( who now has a dead leg ).

I have no doubt he will be dropped, par for the course down at GP now.

Seems to have attracted the attention of a journalist Gregor Townsend.
Done a piece for THE TIMES about the demise of a once proud little club renowned for battling the odds and now heading for non-league obscurity.
I bet MR SWANN is really pleased !!

I don’t read the TIMES. Perhaps Mr Swann could get the article reprinted and put on the clubs website.
He really hasn’t a clue about what made Scunthorpe United different. How do we know ? Simple – he kept up his ridiculous seasonal mass clear out and to compound the errors of previous seasons recruited poorer and poorer overall quality players.

Really feel for Rory, gets little protection game after game and rarely do I hear any compliment from the manager.
That is what is wrong.

Roll on Barrow !!
The post match comments said a lot. More worried.

The gap has started.

He does and we hear nothing from the corridors of GP power !!
From the Forest Green game onwards the approach has to be to WIN every game.
Even if there is the odd injury replacements must buy into a must win culture, do 1 game targeting then call it a day because that is negative.
Any statement post match where “we knew what they would do and what we had to do and didn’t” says time to resig.

Exactly DAZ.
It isn’t what is written it is the words that aren’t.

I’m not trying to defend him but if posters are going to quote him at least do it accurately. Taken from the BBC:
“I’m disappointed in my approach and the way it has been taken by the fans.”
The key thing for me there is ‘disappointed in my approach’.
Don’t believe one word of it. Still not accepting responsibility – in the line you use Deereyme66 the phrase “….the way it has been taken by the fans” says it all. Still the fans fault.
From his 1st fans forum he has created a wall between club and fans. And carried this on for 8yrs ! Suddenly in a heartbeat a total acceptance his fault because the fans didn’t get it !!
And it coincides with the culmination of several years of his recruitment policy delivering a BOTTOM of the table team.

Sick and tired of what appears to directed at me – that because I am staying away I am putting the club at risk.
To confirm my previous support in that part season I did not ask for any money back for the unused season ticket games – I donated it to the club.
Last season I renewed my season ticket with no guarantee of live football. I did watch a few of the games under the F.O.C ifollow system. I stopped because of the shockingly poor level of football due to poor managerial decision making and the game targeting that was so obvious.
This season was the end, I no longer trust the leadership. I am sick and tired of the board attitude to the fans, how they are tolerated. And still they admit nothing just blame everyone else.

But BRI you can look as much as you want but if he doesn’t want to sell he won’t.
And the word vanity does sum him up, he will not want someone else to succeed. If he did then the announcement would be made and the agents board would be at the front gate.
Seems no one from the Swann household could make it to Harrogate, today the minimum should have been a statement of apology – not going to happen is it.

About right.

The issue is VANITY !
Mr Swann will not put the club up for sale because he is scared that someone will actually make it a success. Will get the fans back, lapsed season ticket sales on the increase. And restore a family club attitude.
