It’s been like it for years. Thousands of pounds of lost revenue every season !

Our attitude to catering as many say has been shocking, more like tens of thousands. Seems yet again delivery to the counters is the minimum we can get away with.

The only person responsible for this gradual destruction of a football club with a 100yrs of history is PETER SWANN !

“TRUST ME” then the classic “WHEN WE LEAVE WE WILL LEAVE THE CLUB BETTER OFF FINANCIALLY THAN WHEN WE ARRIVED” – Remember PETER ? You certainly are a man of YOUR word aren’t you.

There are two approaches for either Twitter or Facebook.

1/ You talk at the Fans – fatal.
2/ You engage with the fans – a future.

    Using ‘vermin’ is not engaging.

There is only one person responsible for where we are now – Mr Peter Swann.

The only person in charge of the money was him, he spent the money, he sacked all the managers that had to be paid off. He gambled any reserves there were. Then spent his own money and having gambled that away decided it was the club who should reimburse him !

This really is a FANS forum. It is independent, it allows people to raise points, question why the club leadership seem to want fans involvement but at a distance.

The Forum has always asked people to check what they are saying prior to posting, that if an accusation is being made they have documentation to prove it.

I don’t trust Mr Swann and haven’t for many years. Mr Hilton – the use of the word ‘Vermin’ is not promising.

To Mr P Swann when did you ever bring the fans up to date ?

The only person responsible for where the club is now is YOU. Remember that 1st forum, on your terms I may add. Well you said ” When the Swann family move on it will be in a much healthier financial state than when you arrived” – then it must have been in an horrendous state.

The only person who gambled this club away to near obscurity is you. I hope you are proud !

It is an independent forum. Are people saying others cannot have opinions unless they agree with theirs ?

I expect to set up to win ALL games. The base was retained and according to those who know this level the recruitment has been impressive. If there is any over thinking then days should be numbered.

Received an email from the Alzheimer’s Society confirming they have received the kind donation toney made with his prediction league winnings. Thank you to everyone that took part last season and made this possible.

Great to hear. Well done TONEY.

Just paid my £15. First time playing so would be good to get an idea of the rules. Thanks Matt.

Like CassidysTash – are we looking at a starting gameday squad now as opposed to the 1st 11.

    Could be the plan.

Met Trevor many times over the years through local leagues. Scunthorpe through and through and sad to read he had passed away. He will not be forgotten. RIP Mr Wells.

There has to be someone watching and reporting to The EGO.

The proof [- how many people in the past suffered Solicitors Letters regarding comments on the forum ?

That is why people should watch what they say. If you don’t have documentary evidence to back up your statement then please be wary.

Made some good progress with this over the weekend, will tally up in the morning and put a list of contributors below!

Sounds promising. Certainly hope some of the missing return as they were missed.

Just to say again this is to help the admin of this Fans Forum, being totally independent. All site users are really valued, hope you value Matts hard work. I certainly do.

    Hi Matt.

Great news. Will do the usual way. Cheers. Bring it on NLN perhaps my sometimes optimistic and some of sheer bravado may actually come good.

Have a good close season everyone, plenty of challenges in NLN that is for sure.

15k is insulting, especially considering numerous clubs have been tracking him. 100k is about fair.

100K plus an array of add-ons will be good business. And now the club have revealed that an offer has been made others will act I am sure.

15K should be a monthly loan fee.

There was never any point of an interview with Mr Swann – you only got his version and how do you challenge when you don’t know a thing.

Just to remind Quibell Park is not owned by NLC – it is subject to very legally tight Deeds of Covenants.

Lord Quibell was very clever and a former borough solicitor told me it would cost a fortune to try to over turn and they would not succeed. Would have thought must be still available to members of the public.
