Will be decided by the energy in the pre match managers instructions.
Hope it is us that dictate from the start.
Are we still litigating this? Jimmy Dean, that outstanding manager who built on his successful time at SUFC to take a job in a higher league? That Jimmy Dean?
No. In a previous interview I think with Humberside she said everything was dealt with.
Butterfield was released because the wages offered were not enough.
The reasons for the low offer were obvious – we needed to save money.
Just be US. Keep the plan basic and simple and make opponents have to cope with us.
Being on the front foot at every chance boosts confidence and pace. The results needed for promotion will follow.

Wouldn’t have happened under Hilton:
’86’ The Rushall away supporters are given a round of applause by the entire stadium after the attendance appears on the big screen’

IRON fans will always applaud fans like that.
I said if we start targeting we will be in trouble.
The fans can see over complication, get back to simplicity.

Board have had a delicate balancing job. Got to be as competitive as possible yet the debts of the club had to be reduced substantially and with Michelle saying they were now below £100K they have done a great job pulling everyone together.
They are not going to risk the club so the recruit will be very measured. Even though no one has been signed I would not be surprised if talks had not been held. As to strategy well I don’t think wages are the problem because there are some players who have joined clubs on much lower budgets. I prefer 442 so think the players we have would be fine but we play 3511 or 352 or 3142.
Restarting the academies will be a good start but they will take several years to produce their 1st players.
So need to know the formation to be played before you can reruit.
Also thought Gallimore would have got a contract always looked very organised.
For Rene Artois – Harry Lewis also back at Cleethorpes after a year in OZ. He was released by us went to Trinity and then to Cleethorpes.

Callum Howe another released several years ago and been competing at the same level very well
So how much money wasted for no better. You have the same with Lewis Butroid – how many attempts to replace have been successful ? Then let ua mention Kyle Wootton a natural centre forward that our clever managers play as a winger !! Then released for next to nothing and scoring regularly in div 1 !!

CassidysTash – perhaps we are conducting talks but maybe those involved may still be needed where they are.
Is the Pep way stale? Lots of goals, some of the best players in world football playing for City, ah yes they don’t wear a red kit kit and talk in a silly Scouse accent, just remembered in time.
No by far from stale and he’s always had the best teams/money at his call which helps.
But I don’t want to see it tried/tested by inferior teams/players. Just think football is more engineered now than actually seeing a flowing game.
If we was to witness a slightly more direct of play than the sideways stuff we do maybe the games would be more exciting. AB seems to be more wanting possession based games than actually going out and giving someone a good hiding. Saying that we were all thinking at some point the team will click and do exactly that but!!
Fingers crossed they prove me wrong Saturday,Exactly Roaming Bull. Stop messing with shape, formations or whatever – pick one and stick to it eg 442 or 433 my preferred options. Make opponents deal with what we do, stop with the chuckle style and improve the passing because so many complain about passes being either too slow or just poor.
Substitutions when you have to not when the analysis says someone has played a minute too long or run few yds too much. Keep it as simple as possible. And remember that word ENTERTAINING.

2 nice finishes for Howe, lovely follow in on the near post for Butroids goal and then a nice cross into the box for the 4th.
Certainly nice pass and go football. Well done Russ Wilcox.

A fantastic win for Trinity. A much needed boost for club accounts as well. Great to see Lewis Butroid on the scoresheet. Still say he should have stayed, gives his team 100% in every game and for me could score more goals – has a great shot whether a moving ball or freekick.
Good luck to them in the 1st Round proper.

FA do what they want no matter what. Although does not bother me as I no longer watch England games. Got tired of the divas and Mr Southgate.

Stop targeting. Go out to win all games. Make substitutions when needed not when the tech devices say they have run 10 foot more than they should have type rubbish.
And the biggest need when you read so many comments – Learn how to pass a ball.

The decision may be a meeting of the minds.
This fickleness started when Barrie Thomas was sold and sadly it has remained so.
Don’t know how it can be stopped.
I remember this out rhetoric on several previous occasions Lewis Butroid – how many seasons did it take to replace, Kyle Wootton – remember all the comments, well what happened the moment he got to Notts county, which so happens was a division above where we are. And now scoring regularly in Div 1. Tom Pugh – went to Hereford on loan became there midfield controller, comes back here hardly gets a game now at Halifax, admittedly not a regular starter but usually in the squad. Shrimps went to Spennymoor last season and playing in a position every week made a huge contribution.

Thought Jimmy D’s were purgatory towards the end. Usually Mr Butler says they will have a lot to look at ! Got to the point don’t listen to them.
A few managers back the then incumbent knew we would not be relegated. He had the opportunity to play entertaining football for the last 6 matches yet opted to bore the fans with 352 and lose matches – as a result the gates fell. The next season they did not return. This club has had some of the most fickle of fans, if someones attitude does not change some of those who have returned to help the club will have a rethink.

Said before it is not the defeats that are the problem, it is the attitude of the team when it happens.
Yes. Lack of first half urgency, passing accuracy, creativity.
The passing ability over the last few seasons has been average at best. Seems this basic is not important. For me it shows a laziness and poor attitude.
After 9 league games could not say. Another 5/6 will show if formation tweaks coupled with round pegs in square holes continues then future not good. Need to settle on a formation that players are comfortable with and stick with it.
I do think targeting is back and that is a bad sign.
Only 1 division below so a possibility. A former acad player now at Liversedge – Jack Dyche, tough battler and can finish and thought it was a silly release at that time.

If player changes have to be made to try and make a system work it means the system is wrong. Then making those 7 changes for the previous cup game was wrong and the momentum seems to have been lost.
I accept defeats happen, I also understand we must win the league but the moment you hear ” After 9 league games if someone said we have 20 pts and 3 pts clear at the top…..” is said our aims have changed. We should be trying to win EVERY game.
But let us see what happens over the next 6 games.

The more initiatives the better. Not all of them will be liked by some so people can choose what they want. Whatever helps the club is good.

They will need to be up for it on Saturday because Guiseley will chase everything.
But I note the same bad habit is back, so many are commenting about poor passing. I do not understand that and attitudes need changing. It is a basic must.
Harry Lewis back at Cleethorpes Town.
At least it gives a little bit of money to the two teams involved and you see some interesting games.
Plus a young player may get spotted so I think it is good.1 user thanked author for this post.
They did score 5, they also conceded 2 whereas we recorded a clean sheet.
In our 5 last night it allowed some others more input up front and scored the goals which hopefully boosts their confidence.
FA Cup. Won’t be televised, will it?
Keep an eye on Freeview 601 they put such games on but they are usually with 12.15 / 12.30 ish kick off times. They are a bit basic – 1 camera perhaps 2 on mic’s and the odd replay but that is not guaranteed.
