In periods performing on pitch , George Aikinhead , he’s a fan too and has the same frustrations when it’s been awful to watch
Matt , events proposed. “Innovative” .
Summer festival, 3 X 1 day concerts. One day something local, it seemed that fake bands might be the order and a bigger name
Fanzones too to try Raise fan spend per head.

Redundancy payments were high.
(CIC) Not rushing to sell land as Might be better opportunity in future. No point selling cheap now
Certainly not going to pay certain players high wages next season.Caviat that some prefer longer terms than higher short term and higher wage spenders in south
Cryptic notes I made before Sam Smith’s tech police bollocked me and told me to put phone down.
There’s about £1/4m in shares available for in Michelle’s name all those fund if sold will go to the club not Michelle’s pocket. The board are keeping 20% each

January 30, 2025 at 9:13 am #298185Thanks 64. Will the Trust be issuing a summary?
January 30, 2025 at 9:43 am #298188Didn’t know the phone ban extended to private meetings in their pubs. FFS.
January 30, 2025 at 9:56 am #298189Doesn’t seem right to me the trust having the meeting there in the first place. What’s up with the executive lounge.
No wonder the club the club find it tough to sell GP if they can’t even get the trust to go down there.
Do you think the board were having a dig. Lol.January 30, 2025 at 10:31 am #298190No
January 30, 2025 at 11:07 am #298191Interesting about the sale of GP. I assumed that it could not be sold as it was a community interest. Is it the case that if they have consensus they can agree to sell GP and the land? Does this have stipulations that it must remain a place of football (loosely speaking!)
Selling GP is not mentionedJanuary 30, 2025 at 11:27 am #298192I think you misinterpreted 64’s post.. I think (hope) he was referring to “selling” it as a venue for daily, weekly, monthly, one off events.

January 30, 2025 at 12:27 pm #298193Thanks for that.
Reinforces the point that keeping a control of costs is absolutely vital. We cannot continue looking to sign players every time we have an injury.

January 30, 2025 at 12:42 pm #298194Ah right, got it. Thanks
January 30, 2025 at 12:55 pm #298195The 7 players being:- Fitzsimons, Whitehall, Roberts, Clunan, Denton, Evans, Koughan?
January 30, 2025 at 1:00 pm #298196Evans signed a new contract under current ownership so I suspect it might be Kelly.
January 30, 2025 at 3:42 pm #298201Sounds about right. They were signed in Hilton’s era after all !

Soccer On a Shoestring!January 30, 2025 at 7:37 pm #298230And just look who’ll we’ll be left with once they’ve gone. Michelle’s era signings Fishburn, Nicholson, Beck, Brogan, Carlton, Williams. and Rowley.
Rowley being the only one who’s stepped up to the mark of late.January 30, 2025 at 7:39 pm #298231I wonder if us fans would do better with myfootballclub to bring in signings. :-)
January 31, 2025 at 2:11 pm #298294Looks like time to buy a few shares.
Then into the shop and get some bits, it all adds up.
January 31, 2025 at 6:27 pm #298301Apparently the directors mentioned the ‘shop window’ being right and they were first and foremost fans.
That tells me that AB was spoken to about the shit, negative, top heavy defence lack of any style football we were being subjected to.
Thank F###.
January 31, 2025 at 7:29 pm #298303Not being funny, but I don’t see an ‘ergo’ in there.
February 1, 2025 at 7:02 pm #298338Didn’t Butler get the job on the back of cutting the playing and coaching budget to £1.1mm down from £1.7mm under Jimmy?
in the accounts to 2023 there was a loss of nearly £700k. Crowd’s were up last year and the debt we were told was getting paid off. I don’t see how the directors have done this if we were losing money unless it’s shareholders putting capital in in return for shares.
The 2024 accounts should be available soon so I will be able to see what happened last year.
One thing is for sure , if the playing budget is £1.1mm and we are somehow spending £900k on other costs then we are not sustainable

February 1, 2025 at 7:27 pm #298339Don’t be coming on here with cold hard facts HLC, a couple don’t like it!
A £1.7m budget to fail to get promoted from the sixth tier. Wonder if Southern League budgets can be any bigger…1 user thanked author for this post.
