I went to renew my season ticket today and found it shut Why can’t they tell on the website ?Not impressed
Go to the Club FB page rather than the website as the shop opening days and times are posted weekly. The post today says … due to winning promotion yesterday the club shop will be closed today re open Tuesday which is pretty understandable.

Hope he doesn’t turn up to council meetings like this.Lets be right any assistance received from the council re the MW closure was only ever gonna get sorted with Prince Harry intervening..

capacity is 9,0XX but i read some where the away end will have the front 2 rows of seats covered and something else about some seats covered for segregation.
Around about 8,800 – 8,900 ish looks likely.
As for the Chester fans parking issues … hopefully most will be leaving early due to a convincing Iron lead (half time would be nice)

Seen a number of cocksure braggadocio posts on social media about beating Chester and I don’t like it one bit. Look where the Kiddie braggers landed. All game for a bit of taunting if they’re giving it large but to think we’ve already won is naive in the extreme.
Absolutely agree ..some of the comments are really daft .. IMO without Roberts for the final and Chester being well backed (1500 ) seeking revenge its far from a done deal and a lot of iron posters could well have egg on their faces looking very silly if it does go pear shaped.

I don’t think people have enough information to slam the Club for affecting the team.
We very nearly went out of existence, and we desperately need to get things right off the field. I believe that the people on power are doing their best to ensure that we are still around for the future. It may not all be popular or even wanted, but they need to consider every opportunity to improve the position of our Club.
AB, in my opinion, should never have been appointed. He has done a decent job, but his stubbornness has cost us dearly. We may still go up and he may take us to the next level, but it would have been a lot easier with someone decent & experienced at the helm.
I hope he continues to improve with his tactics and his attitude, but I am still far from convinced that he is the right man for the job.
Hit nail on head there Ironx3 .. wasnt keen on ABs appointment and the strange contract extention,sounds daft (where he has got us presently) but IMO hes not the right person to take the club forward and if we do go up he may well struggle in the NL.

No idea what Butterfields injury is but he’s not played for Gateshead since before Christmas.
Only made 19 appearances this season.
Whilst we managed 1 extra point and exactly the same outcome without him. Remind me who were the prophets of doom that predicted mid table at best without Butterfield, Ogle and Elliott.

Whilst i admit to the doom n gloom side re Butterfield etc leaving i stayed on the fence for the most part re Butler getting the boot .. hes scrambled his way to second and a decent chance of promotion due to home advantage but hand on heart i wasnt impressed when he was appointed , shocked at the premature contract extention and still regardless if we go up or not i remain unconvinced he is the right person to take the club forward .. he will struggle next season if in NL or NLN and expect the axe to fall it it goes pear shaped in the first third of the season.
