Yesterdays Southend shambles was very disturbing in many ways .. team selection , performance and a lack of any effort lead to.the the obvious outcome.
I hate all the doom.n gloom but i cant see us picking up.enough wins to.keep.is up.and confirmed before Santa has been gone the NLN will.be our home next season.

SHAMBOLIC .. cant see a way out of this mess with Daws at the helm n Swan in the big chair… sad to say we look doomed

my heart says away win 2-1
my head says home win 2-0
so probably be another draw .. 1-1

ALL the fixtures in the NL are nasty but a particularly nastier than nasty few against richer clubs fancied to go up adds more importance to this game .. whilst it remains very tight at the moment and a string of wins could see any team go mid to upper table in the blink of an eye the flip side being losses or draws and we could find ourselves cut loose in the the bottom 2 or 3 in the next 4 weeks .. Im kinda preparing my self for NLN which is a distinct possibly .. as is being raped n folded by our illustrious chairman as he rides off into the Blackpool sunset.

Sadly pat i have to agree with your last sentence .. the end is nigh.
NLN will be smoke screened by anither make believe buyer /takeover then when that falls through again Swan will say he has no option then to close the club down.. whilst of course still.owning all its assets in Coolsilk name.

He fat hes round he needs bouncing out the town .. one thing he usnt is stupid he holds all the cards to our ckubs bleak future if there is a future at all.

So Swanny can publish or say what he wants with impunity? Yet others have their hands tied by confidentiality agreement, By he’s a powerful man why would we want rid, so clever than everyone else a messiah.

This is exactly what the Allams did at Hull City with various ‘buyers’ that came and went. They even managed to trouser a six million quid non-refundable deposit.

Maybe thats what Swan is up to .. contractually getting a non refundable deposit then pushing the deal to go tits up .. lets face it he is a slippery blighter.

Aldershot is a massive game .. MUST WIN anything else and i will start to fear for us .. NLN a distinct possibility if we loose to them .. im predicting 20 to 25 pts total by NYD and its gonna be arse nipping time all way the end of the season .. it appears it will remain very tight at the bottom as no team is falling away .. a string of wins and bingo mid upper table .. a string of losses and bosh its done.

Maybe wrong place to post , apologies but lets keep this in prospective .. its only a game… i say that as my family home in North Eastern Thailand is very close to where the tragic mass shooting occurred yesterday in which 38 innocent people lost their lives including 22 very young children. I traveled up country from my office in Bkk as the authorities were appealing for blood donations , just done that this morning.

The whole community/province is devastated , RIP to all and sincere condolences to all the families who lost loved ones… very very sad time here.

After watching the Oldham.highlights i came to.the conclusion ..yes we are finding the net more frequently alas yesterday catastrophic oldham.definding handed us our 2 goals there werent really made by our players .. Beestin was excellent ..but yet again sat back trying to hold iut n paid the price ..we cannit defend well.enoigh to constantly do this ..our defense is crap.
Bottom.of the table is very tight and a home win over Aldershit is a must nithing else will do ..it would move us out the bottom.fiur n well.up.the rable if other results go our way …so lets all.pray for a win this saturday
Btw great support by the 400 plus scunny fa s that went to.oldham…well done

Well.i nailed the 1-1 prediction earkier in this thread but feel a but down as we cant beat another team who are bottom.of the league ala Halifax a week or so back.
Waiting foe the match report n the YT vids to see how we performed.

Did you have a bet on that result? Should have been decent odds for that.

Unfortunately not .. any form of gambling is strictly illegal here so i dont bother as its too much faffin about …. tho me n a mate do do a weekly accumulator bet based on league one results every team to score , hes a Leeds fan and does the bet online some how.

Watching the YT SUFC highlights vid looks like we should of nicked it with some great chances going begging in the second half.. Gareths ironarmy vlog also worth a watch as always.

Got to be be siad at least we seem to have found the nak of hitting the back of the net , something that seemed impossible when Hill was in charge .. its just a shame defensively we are still well below par .. it fact crap is a more accurate term.

Is this the Skelly who went to Fred Gough?

Not sure but i think Skelly did yes ..

I went away in a tranny van during the the mid 80s til the mid 90s .. lots of watter under the bridge since then and my old memory isnt great remembering the regular guys names who went…

memorable away days i can recall Nuneaton in the FA cup , Darlo , Hartlepool , Shrewsbury, and Wembley 1999 which was just before i left the UK… so i did miss “”the glory years””.

I do watch the Wembley final against Millwall quite often .. one of the best games ever and that Millwall goal by Alexander was a blinder.. great commentary as well

should he stay or should he go now
if he goes there will be trouble
if he stays he’ll hit a double (at Torquay today hopefully)

Dull as ditch watter Southgate has to go .. with this current crop of extraordinary talent need a progressive attack minded manager not this FA yes man who is tactically inept and overly reliant on defence…oh but he speaks well on camera ..yippee fookin doo !!

If he were to be sacked TOMORROW .. with the WC coming up who could replace him ??? that is the question ..alas hes here to stay until we suffer a bad WC in Qatar and he will then be replaced .

theres a blast from the past Toppos mad van .. i recall a guy called Skelly as well and Simmo who won the lottery .. i used to go to away games in a rented van with a regular group and had some brilliant days out.

Back to the present and IMO at the moment we are so inconsistant hence difficult to predict any result tho as previously mentioned our form when playing the bottom club(s) has been very poor.

for what its worth .. im going for a score draw 1-1

Bradford and Walsall fans rate Lavery. Good signing for this level if stays fit.

Pugh will be much more depth. And he can play full back too

Indeed Simon at Walsal fan TV rates Lavery and reckons will be a good addition for Scunny at our current level.

Can see Apter being at Scunny long .. hes only on loan with a monthly recall clause and hes getting lots of positive press and interest on social media , hope im wrong as he appears a real handful and at least offers bottoms off seat moments when on the ball.

You certainly wonder why he’s playing in the Conference.

Remember though that he can only play for 2 clubs in a season, I believe, so if Blackpool recall him he can only play for them or send him on loan elsewhere (in which case he couldn’t play for Blackpool). Which they might do but it does slightly limit the option of him being recalled.

Wonder why hes not been in the Blackpool first team plans ??

Hoping the team can build on the last two performances where they appear to have gelled better and offered a bit more in attack.

its now pretty clear looking at all the results for all teams in the NL over a few weeks and without sounding too daft any team can beat another on any given day .. its a very difficult league to play in and even nailing down obvious title chasers and relegation candidates isnt easy ..very very unpredictable with lots of inconsisttancy .. Aldershot 5 – Halifax 1 ??? as example

BTW 37xx plus crowd .. did York bring a good few ?

as thread header .. shocking tactical decision by Daws more than likely cost us the win at Alty.

Not to confident for the York home game .. but im gonna predict a score draw 1-1

Apologies for quoting myself but firstly well done to TD he got things right today ..also i did predict 1-1 ..

By all accounts played way better so lets hope this can be turning point.. some big games coming up and now off the bottom all be it only on GD
