Safe journey to the travelling Iron faithful at Blackpool today, let’s hope the boys give a good account of themselves at higher league opposition UTI.
Best loan player I saw with us was Danny Wilson, ran midfield whilst barely getting out of second gear, just oozed class, far too good for us but I’m glad he stayed for awhile.

More importantly it should have earned them a few bob which is always handy.
Wasn’t Cliff Byrne on loan initially from Sunderland before signing? One of our longest serving and loyal club players we have ever had, don’t make em like Cliff anymore.
It’ll be a bigger reality check if they lose their banana skin’ game v Ebbsfleet in the FA Cup on Saturday!
Very true, expected to lose last night expected to win on Saturday, game doesn’t stand still for long which is a good thing.
Beating Brentford at home in the cup isnt for everyone.
Reality check tonight for our fishy neighbours, the result against Man U was the literal “ one off “ which had more to do with how awful Man U were on the evening rather than how brilliant the cods were. These results happen occasionally but tonight’s result against Brentford was more the real deal of modern day football, there is no comparison because the financial stats don’t back it up , they had their moment of good fortune now it’s all back to normal now.
The old game of two halves but a win is a win and we will have games like this, other teams do and we are no different. Things to take from today, another good game from Watson and an outstanding save that made sure we kept the three points, we are poorer when Alfie doesn’t play and Dawson is clearly not fit enough yet to hold down a starting place, hope he can get regular fitness soon because he has the physicality to be a really good forward IMO. Second in the league last week in October with only one league defeat so far, who would have thunk it? Well done Iron.
Can someone please explain why we have a right back playing left back, a left back playing centre back, and a centre back playing right back!??
I guess managers don’t think all players positions are set in stone like some fans do.
Blaming Watson for their goal is frankly ridiculous. Result of poor defending, again.
Well it was WG so what else is new?
Boston run their club their way we need all the money we can get, that’s the reasoned sensible way, not that I’d expect you to grasp that when your in your Bolshi bullshit mood.
Agree take their money when they come here, sorry Awaywego your noble fan sentiment bollocks doesn’t make any sense, we need as much money into the club as possible whenever we get chance to do it.
The Travelling Hartpurys?
Handle them with care.
Finally thought of one: this excellent bottle capper, made by Farrari in Italy. Never let me down. Caps like a dream:

Wow surely that caps everything else?
Health and safety at work act, Rory must wear a cap when it’s sunny to stop him going blind when peering into the sun?, well maybe not.

If it had been laid earlier it would have allowed more time for rooting and more remedial time before season start. All roads lead back to the Weekender IMO.
Ah yes the highly successful three day concert fest that made us a small fortune, not.
More wafflegate from bill, was it ever thus, doesn’t take much to set her off.
The pitch situation is annoying and surely it’s down to good basic husbandry of the pitch particularly when it’s the infancy stage, what ever happened to people just knowing their job be it the pitch installers or the basic care of it afterwards, ridiculous situation.
Considering their start to the season Morecambe have done incredibly well and looked a good side in the making last night. We must remember they have had considerable investment put into the club proving once again that money is the key whatever level you compete at. They pressed us really well for the first thirty minutes but then we began to react to them just dropping off their levels after that. Three great goals for us and CBRP is spot on about the weakness at the back stick again although Denton was injured when their goal occurred and as a result could not get there in time. Decent night for Rory with two excellent saves but in general we were lethargic at times but this will happen against sides that work hard and our recent workload didn’t help, three points is good enough for me and that’s what’s important when your not 100% at it all game.
If ever a guy deserved a promotion at the Iron then JM is surely the one. Tremendous work ethic, completely devoted to the cause and very popular with players, staff and fans alike. Had the pleasure of speaking with him many times over the years, well done young man.

Thought AB was meaning total Morecambe players signed up when he mentioned 32 on Saturday evening but I counted 31 first teamers on their website info, 19 under 18’s and 18 in the women’s team, blimey that’s a good investment from the new owners.
I thought we had some new ticketing system ? Fans zone or summats
Yes apparently it’s the latest all singing all dancing must have ticket app, however they failed to mention it doesn’t always work, I’ll stick with the card thanks and keep my fingers crossed.
Not sure why Whitehall didn’t start but I guess the manager does , playing him the entire second half was the correct decision after the sending off late in the first. Whitehalls well known shithousery kept Carlisle guessing and with several players booked for them already he may well have got one of them sent off with his type of gameplay. No difference between their striker and Whitehall in fairness to their shithousery, both good at winding up defenders and both good at drawing fouls and making it awkward for the referee to always make the correct decision, thought the ref yesterday got conned a fair bit by Carlisle’s gamesmanship particularly second half. Deffo start DW on Tuesday, if fit of course.
Luv it when Burny gets triggered he’s so predictable but it doesn’t make it any less funny.

Burny has his agenda set in stone he never changes TBF whatever he bangs on about but it don’t make him right it’s just his opinion which is worth jacks**t to anyone else but him, moving on.
Second half performance with ten men was amazing and I thought the guys were more than worthy of a point but it just wasn’t to be. To go this long without losing a game this season till today has been a superb effort all round and the whole squad and management deserve huge credit for how they have performed so far. Let’s get back on the horse Tuesday night against Morecambe and begin another run, we have a very good squad and manager for this level let’s enjoy the ride UTI.

Reads like that manager bloke knows what he’s doing after all then, lol.
Some wanted him gone end of last season, couldn’t fathom it he’s such a good team player and has been consistent the last two seasons in particular but as they say it’s all about opinions.
