Rather less skeletal, these days.
You still appear to be in need of a good meal to me les.
The proof of the pudding etc etc les, despite many people’s opinion on the owner not being favourable we have to give Cox, his staff and above all his players the benefit of the doubt till a few balls have been kicked in earnest this coming season. All genuine fans want these lads to succeed and do well this season, the gloom has to start lifting sometime why not this season with these new players giving us all something to cheer about.

Hope he doesn’t get myxomatosis 🐇
Not so much The Dynamic Duo more The Shitshow Duo!!! Just a suggestion please don’t take offence superheroes. 💩💩
Best own mid players TERRY HEATH BOBBY SMITH DEAN MARTIN
[loanee DANNY WILSON]
Danny Wilson the player we would have loved to sign, him along with Terry Heath and
Bish for me. If he had not struggled with so much injury I would have added Noel Parkinson, thought he had great ability, good football brain and a cracking shot on him.1 user thanked author for this post.
Sadly had to cancel, people wary of away travel by the look of it. UTWI
Understandable barrie, the two year rule for a pandemic is being applied by a lot of people I talk too, maybe more will travel by car but I think the combination of corona virus and the Prawn will have a lot to do with it. Can’t see myself on an away coach next season but it’s a personal decision everyone has to make.

Funso might have got into my top 20 CMs since 1966. But – maybe not.
Terry Heath in your top 3 les since 1966?
Is it pay on the day 🤔
Yes it’s another nail in the non league coffin that is heading our way next May. The car park won’t be a big deal for a lot of people, I presume the stewards will have hand held devices you will just sweep your card over, about the same time it takes to hand them three quid and as for the stadium I personally never spend a bean at the food points because the food and service is crap. Have a nice lunch at home before the game, grab a pint if you want one in a local boozer before KO ( nominated drivers will help ) and tell the Prawn we except he is driving the club into oblivion but apart from a match day fee to gain entry, he can bollocks. Playing right into his hands I know but the ethos of our club has been draining away for years and I’m afraid unless a local well intentioned rich bloke comes along who GENUINELY loves the club, we are all pretty much shafted. Rich people always win, that’s why we need a revolution in this country.

It was a scorcher les but well worth it, lots of sun cream + cap + lots of cold beer made it very tolerable. The atmosphere was electric, wouldn’t have missed it, too good to miss, plus I’d waited over a year to see it.
Heard today from a person that works down there that we have sold just under a 1000 season tickets.
UTI
Are they a reliable source or a club stooge? Genuine question not a piss take, like have they given you information before about the club that has been 100% accurate?
You are spot on, Cass.
Three and a half hours of really deep sleep; probably 45 minutes of REM crap on top; 45 minutes catnap in the early afternoon. Total – somewhere in the region of 5 hours in every 24.It’s just how I muddle through life – it isn’t exclusively me worrying about The Iron.
les you should have been with me yesterday at Headingley, cracking T20 between England and Pakistan, wonderful atmosphere on that Western Terrace with both sets of fans getting along brilliantly. Saw the biggest six ever when Livingstone smashed one over the new triple tier stand and onto Leeds Rugby ground. Fantastic entertainment you would have enjoyed it, always better when it’s live. 🏏🍻👍

Just what the Chairman needed he can now say the club is not viable
Well it clearly isn’t with him in charge as an £11 million deficit due to budget mismanagement clearly proves.

I hope all Trust members and I know there has been an influx of new blood lately, have all filled in the Football Governance ( or something similar sounding ) survey that was sent out in the current newsletter, if we don’t make our feelings known then change will never come.
I delivered Tom’s heating oil back in the day to his house at Amcotts, he also had a bungalow in the village that I delivered too. Nice chap, had many a chat with him about his time with the Iron and indeed Hull where he went too after us, proper old school in his outlook which looking at what we have now isn’t a bad thing IMO. He would never pass comment on the current owner but he spoke highly of Mr Wharton. Sorry for his family, RIP Tom, a proper gent.
Apparently we had four covid players in the building last week on loan but two got sent back, think that’s what WG said?
Ooh bill your such a cynic, you’ll be telling us all next that God sent the virus to punish us all from turning away from him. Golden calf anyone?
Yep your right Xxx it’s just a little prick, must have been just another day at the office for you when you received your jab.
alcy is suffering from muddled thinking on this one, vaccines were in trials longer years ago due to poorer technology and lack of funding, this has been a world wide pandemic where modern technology, cooperation between nations and massive financial resources have been thrown at this problem from day one. Plus there are loads of different corona viruses knocking about and scientists have been studying them for years with plenty of progress made in this field which gave them a massive head start on this pandemic when it arrived. alcy probably knows all this but he has his own agenda no doubt so we shouldn’t be surprised by his position on this.
No it can’t be.
Last weekend’s trialists have been sent back.
When I suggested otherwise I was ridiculed. Must be someone else!
NI let it go it was WG waffling on as usual.
NI come on its WG, is he ever taken seriously?
Makes total sense to me.
When you don’t have money you need the manager to have a lot more say so that he can build a team of characters that will form a tight bond and run through brick walls for each other. Think Morecambe.
Surely this paragraph applies when there is money to spend unless you have no confidence in your manager spending the money on the right players, which beggars the question why employ him in the first place, he clearly must be the wrong choice if that’s how your logic works🤔
Aye your right les we really are down to the bare bones with this skeleton squad, hope nobody let’s a dog loose on the training ground, could be a proper crunch fest. 💀🐕
Rashford ” playing politics ” ( What a puerile statement ) is the reason millions of kids got fed when the Government of the day were avoiding their political responsibility by not doing the job they are paid for. Rashford took a crap penalty but it won’t have left a load of kids hungry due to him missing it, just disappointed a nation for a night, most people will have got over it by now and the majority will have moved on. It’s a bloody football game FFS, keep things real.

Meanwhile bill continues to post untruths about the England players taking the knee without a shred of proof to back himself up. It’s basically lying but I’m not sure how his conscience copes with that, he must be in turmoil when attempting to broadcast a lie that surely goes against his beliefs. Why does he do it I wonder?
I take this opportunity to condemn the racist abuse England players received after last nights match.I noticed there was no racist abuse inside the ground as usual.
….and you also now realise the England players are taking the knee to support anti racism in sport and not a neo – Marxist movement as you have falsely stated before, yeah? Remember your commandments yeah?
BPG I offer you my sincere apologies if you believe my précis does not truly reflect your views.
But I ask again. Do you think that racist abuse is a thing of the past? Or do you admit it is happening now and should be brought to our attention so we can openly condemn it?
Think bill appears to struggle a lot with the old ” thou shall not bear false witness ” bit NI.
Worked with Neal for a short time at Sooner Foods ( that takes me back a few years ) and he was a lovely bloke who would help anybody anytime if he possibly could. Saw him occassionally at matches and had a natter and it was with real sadness when I read of his passing so suddenly. RIP Neal, top man.

bill you distort the truth all the time on this subject and present no evidence whatsoever to back up your bogus untruths about why players take the knee, you really are a piece of work when accusing others of probably getting a couple of words wrong about what you have wrote in the past but it doesn’t change the FACTS that you are misguiding people with false statements on why players take the knee. Your hypocrisy in demanding an apology over this unpleasant affair about racism in sport is laughable, you should be ashamed of youself with your take on what is happening in the REAL world of racism in sport today.
Still waiting for evidence that taking the knee is supporting neo-marxism and not anti racism in sport as the England players and their association have stated on multiple occassions is the case. Well?
