Will probably need a good centre back and an experienced keeper to achieve it, minimum requirements.

Would be unbelievable if the Iranian women could get some proper democratic justice but these religious fanatics are so intense, they will take some bloody shifting IMO but good luck to Iranians fighting for their internal freedom.

I’m guessing you will limp into the ground then NI, lets hope we don’t limp out the cup with another game of two halves display.

I believe we are the only team in this league unbeaten in the last six but today’s draw feels like another defeat, so disappointing.

He brought some great players in on a nothing budget, Les Hunter, Steve Baines, Noel Parkinson, Andy Keeley etc and got us playing some cracking football, then Wraith spat his dummy out and we lost a real gem in John Duncan. RIP John, thanks for being a great Iron manager and a nice bloke.

Great first half, poor second but that sums up the whole team not just him. I think he’s turning into a proper asset up top based on his excellent first half.

Blame him for the first, that near post bowler should never happen at professional level, blame the whole team for two and three, back of back off back off don’t close down, oh dear. Basic bloody common sense, we just don’t possess it for the full 90 minutes.

It’s got to be a players mindset thing, Daws sounds as pissed off as we all feel, he doesn’t instruct them to back off when in front and in control surely?why would he?. You can’t manage a game out with 45 minutes left It’s not possible with the players we have, ten or fifteen maybe but not 45. It’s a fact we are playing better football under Daws but we are just not consistent over 90 minutes and today was another classic performance of a game of two halves. Why run and graft and close down and come back from another early goal setback to dominate a half and deservedly go in at half time with a 3-1 lead, just to say bollocks to it and switch off second half, it doesn’t make sense, it’s a betrayal of all the good work and great attitude achieved in the first 45 minutes. I’m not blaming one player or five players or the system I’m blaming the mindset currently surrounding all these players, it’s baffling, it doesn’t make sense and it sure don’t add up. They even come on the radio after the game and say ” we have to do it for ninety minutes “, here’s a clue, fuc***g well do it then. Never heard so much crap ever I really havent, just go out and be professional all game, every game. It’s a basic requirement and you can’t hide from it because the fans will keep letting you know every performance you dont, just bloody get on with it and play like a team FFS.

Broadly agree with what III is saying but not sure there’s evidence he actually does care about the fans. Certainly not the last few years.

Sorry Deerey, my fault for not making it clear – he doesn’t care for the fans, which is obvious, but he does care what the fans think of him.

….and as I’ve stated before this is classic narcissistic behaviour, at least we should know by now the type of person any new owners are having to deal with. Must be a very difficult negotiation process for any prospective buyer, if any are actually taking place of course.

Bru reported it and discussed it on the podcast but they have to work with what info they receive. Of course they would not say whether they believe it or not or any more snippets of info from you know who would stop completely. Remember any info from Bru or LT is only repeated from the same source a lot of us question.

Just seen the highlights, what a soft pen, fell over and ref fell for it but anyhow that’s footy I guess. Nuttall proving more than useful, took his goal well and good work helping set up the second, looks like his hassling up front is paying off now.

Ref sounded poor again regarding fouls not given and players clattered, the radio commentators were making a point about the poor standard of refereeing in this division, no doubt people who were there will have a view on that.

I never believe a word the Prawn says, if the day ever dawn’s we are sold and he’s gone and we still have a football club, will be the only time I believe but a lot of us may be dead by then.

Nuclear is still very viable for the future but the way Buck’s dismisses greener options out of hand is so blinkered IMO, refusing to move forward to newer ways of providing our energy is just the way the next generation want to do it. Like others before we have to move forward and not stick in the past vegetating, if it wasn’t for progress we would not be communicating in this way now.
