It would be nice to hear from Neil on here a bit more, not all of us do twitter, and as for abuse, who is he getting it from and why? Nowt been said on here for awhile to my knowledge but anyhow best of luck Neil going forward and get yourself on here occasionally to give us any info and have a bit of banter in general, we are all big Iron fans on this forum, even the moaning buggers.

Adam Hammill left over two years ago.
You haven’t been for a long while have you?
Did he mean Hallam?
He should say what he means then!!! Well that’s the old age thing again kicking in again.

Is Frank Burrows still playing centre half? Oh wait he’s dead…😂
With it not being an owner funded scoreboard can the half time logo change to “SWANN OUT”, I’m sure the majority of the home fans would all sing along in unison. Some great half time entertainment at last, the spinning around a pole then falling on the floor like a dopey twat has worn a little thin over the years, although the majority of the first team tend to play like that.

Old age and health problems associated with it are a real bind for you les but at least the fire of being an Iron fan still burns brightly within you which is the main thing and is very encouraging to hear. I’m just a home bird fan these days, can’t be doing with four hour long ( and the rest ) away days on a bus, then standing or sitting in some draughty old stadium , albeit enjoying the away day experience of atmosphere, banter and all, then contemplating that same bloody journey home after whatever result. Still get to the majority of home league games, cup games don’t interest me and if I get a better offer for some other social gathering, dinner with friends or a drink and food fueled enjoyable weekend away, then I’m gone. Still like going to Iron home games but the magic of yesteryear has definitely gone and maybe age is a factor but the main reason is the owner and his lack of interest in our club which has brought our current situation about.

Come on Bucksiron and Greylag, maybe you can understand my opening post and not reply with a laughable response?!!
The only laughable section in this thread so far is the opening post, go away and try again bill.

Even renaged on the basic tax cut which I find surprising and only six months promised help on energy bills not two years. More austerity on the way, good luck paying your mortgages and sorting out your energy bills come next April but hey we are all in it together remember. PS. Truss surely cannot survive this, just an appalling example of somebody attempting to run the country. Oh and Buck’s the government doesn’t run the markets but has to use financial intelligence when constructing a budget to try and keep them onside, if your policies trash the economy inside a week, be prepared for an arse kicking.

Self preservation that’s why, the Iron will be sacrificed in order to keep enough funds in the family coffers, would not expect anything less TBH, it’s always about survival and personal survival will always outweigh any other consideration IMO.
Should have come in the home end with us CMC.
Plenty of space, bars, food outlets, picnic tables, people in claret & blue with happy, smiling faces. Instead of being shoe-horned into a third of a tiny stand behind one goal. I’ll be surprised if you don’t all come down with Covid!
Friendly copper let me park right opposite the turnstiles. 45 minutes drive home.
Pity about the result!
Good shout on the Swan pub NI, went in for a pint before the bus. Traditional pub done out nice inside, no idiots.
Nice to hear Awaywego and his tribe weren’t allowed in then 😂

Shall we all end up in room 101 for expressing doubt in our leaders 🤔
Back in the old days a lukewarm Christian was one where the kindling on the heretic fire had not caught light properly. How times change.
He’s just getting his religious toe in the door JI which as you know he does on a regular basis regarding many subjects on this forum. It’s very boring and pretty desperate TBF, he knows the views of many about Jesus and religion on here, it’s been done to death many times but he persists but unfortunately he is just a distractor not a contributor.
Said it at the beginning of the season.
We are going down again.Yes, Alcazar I am sorry to say but I did also, in fact I thought that the club would have become another Bury by now.
Bury!!! I hear a grave digger has been put on stand bye. What am I saying he’s been here several years now just biding his time.
ironking you forgot

Course we aren’t interviewing candidates, Daws is cheaper and that’s all that counts till the final housing estate blueprints are drawn up.

Course it won’t happen, no money input Prawn will see to that. The building site looms even larger, abandon all hope for anything else

We are three short in the squad, when those two leave that’s five short, tell us something we don’t know and yes it’s all Swanns fault, we know that too.
It’s always been hard work all season, that’s why we never put in a ninety minute performance and today looks like another example.

Put your faith in Jesus bill, at least he’s not the leader of a man made religion, ….. oh wait…….
I sense another Buck’s hiatus is imminent.
” We import two thirds of our cheese, it’s a disgrace “. No trashing the economy and scapegoating the guy you employed as Chancellor is a disgrace Mrs.

Say what now 🤔
Let’s hope he makes a better fist of being chancellor, his track record as health secretary was hardly inspiring.
At least MP’s are representatives of the constituency they serve with our current first past the post system, 160,000 people mainly between 55 and 75 and living mainly South of Watford Gap are not representative of MP’s constituencies one iota.

If Buck’s took a look in the mirror occasionally he may learn some home truths, not holding my breath on that one though.
No wrong end of the stick from me, senior players injured, three players short in the squad all season plus Apter and Pugh cup tied, go figure.

Apparently she is going to see through what she promised. She has u turned on the scrapping of the 45p tax rate for high earners and has u turned on cutting corporation tax. When she was running for leader she promised tax cuts, I guess the minimum rate down from 20 to 19p next year should still be on but come on Tory supporters this woman is an absolute joke as PM, come out and vent your spleen.
Not sure what all the gnashing of teeth by some about team selection is all about, we have players injured and have been three players short in the squad all season so what is the manager meant to do? I am sure he will pick what he considers is his best available eleven and if that includes a few youngsters plus others on the bench to make up the numbers because of circumstances, so be it. Just get on with it.
She may get the Nicholas Witchell treatment.
