Reform and relocate to Gunness playing as the Trent Valley Vikings.

Have you ever thought of relocating to Cleethorpes and growing some webbed feet 🤔

He’s missed a lot of game time through injury and I thought yesterday was probably his best game so far, so unlucky not to score. We need our older experienced players to stand up now and be counted because let’s be right, we have been four or five experienced heads short all season and they are so vital particularly in this division.

Agree les, proper diplomacy from Simon, he must have almost bitten through his tongue when referring to the “you know who” in the terms he did but it did raise my spirits listening to the tone of the interview. Good luck Simon hope you and Ian can see it through ASAP. Interesting to hear him refer to the fee for Nuttall as £100,000, wasn’t it reported as undisclosed initially?, makes a change hearing an exact amount for once regarding a transfer fee.

He will be keeping his head down les, too much heat even for the narcissist. If there’s nothing to crow about then he’s not playing, after all, it won’t be his fault.

Very enjoyable and well deserved, a good all round display with special mentions for Lavery, Shrimpton, Wilson and Butterfield. Beestin worked hard but gave it away a couple of times but no real complaints overall, nice to see Foster back in goal and Ogle will be back in the groove after a couple of games to get match fit. Only downside is Lavery will probably leave along with Butterfield but the youngsters are certainly starting to look better with each game.

But the gambling is not his fault. Nothing ever is his fault.

Didn’t you know, he’s a very misunderstood individual who is trying his best. Bless him, I bet he’s looking in the mirror this very morning convincing himself what a good boy he is and it’s not his fault at all.😂

Aye old JR was a big royalist in his day, what was that line, ” God save the Queen a fascist regime “?, mind you I admire Harry for leaving all the pomp and crap and bullshit behind to concentrate on earning his own money and not be a financial drain on the country. Go Harry, sock it to em.

The reason the other planets don’t have life is because we are God’s guinea pigs Heathy, didn’t you know that? We are the trial run and if it succeeds he’s going to roll it out across the entire universe. Of course it will mean repositioning billions of stars around a bit to enable life to exist but don’t worry it’s all in hand. Mind you the way the experiment is going so far he might scrap it all and say it’s not working, so he will probably send a flood or something to finish his experiment early…….oh wait… the bible , the ark, sorry I forgot. Thanks God.

They will regret going down the legislation road when it comes to the right to strike and all the details within, we are a democracy still I believe Mr Sunak, give your head a wobble and get your transport minister talking round a table instead of broadcasting Goverment soundbites on the national news.

Real shame, he seemed a genuinely lovely bloke. He was involved with the Italian staff when they won the Euros in 2021 which was a nice gesture I thought. Not many come back from pancreatic cancer, it did for Pavarotti, Swayze and my mother in law. RIP Luca.

A neighbour of mine used to say that when Lavery was our keeper he should change his name to Lavatory, because when it came to goalkeeping he was a proper shithouse. 💩😂

Sunak must be a contender after todays speech, one and one is three, not good enough but i will concentrate on that and ignore the current pressing issues facing the country.

Surely it’s in his brief to keep fans in the loop about the current situation at GP, if he doesn’t realise fans are concerned by the lack of information then he shouldn’t be doing the job. If he is unable to let fans know certain details because of an NDA then all he has to do is post an explanation and then at least fans will be aware. Other fans posting clips from other Twitter feeds and SST letting us know the snippets he receives are our only sources, the actual appointed fans director says nothing. It’s all very strange and is really not acceptable, however someone stated awhile back that his wife hadn’t been well and he was under pressure from that and if that is still the case then we should extend our support to him.

Rose tinted specs say Geoff Bernard who I believe was just a good all round reliable keeper. In later years Joe Murphy, who had the benefit of playing in a very good side and I always liked Daniels. Gilks didn’t hang around long enough because of injury but whilst here was a good solid keeper.

It’s as usual down to the owner, him moving on and agreeing a settlement for the club would be the best solution. There is enough goodwill locally from the proposed new investors and businesses in the town who appear to want to get involved to reignite the recovery of Scunthorpe United. Just keep everything crossed guys but I agree at the moment things look very grim indeed. 😞

There was always going to be aggro when the US pulled out of Afghanistan no matter who was President, Trump had planned the withdrawal and there is no evidence to suggest he would have done any different to Biden timescale wise if he’d been re-elected. What has happened since the withdrawal should leave no one in doubt just how barbaric the Taliban are, yes I’m going to say it, bloody religion again. The other points have been addressed by other posters so JI thanks for responding and though I don’t share your reasoning for Biden to be named as idiot of the year, at least you fleshed out your thinking why. It’s basically the difference of how we look at the world and how it should be run for the betterment for all or at least as many as we can run it better for. Whether it’s how wealth is created and distributed better for the many and how we care for people in a better fairer way, or how we see ourselves on the world stage and how we address countries being invaded by others on the flimsiest of reasons. It’s a huge task and there are no easy answers but I sure don’t put Joe Biden in the same camp as Putin when it comes to how a powerful country should be run and how it should act on the world stage. Nobody is perfect but if you said to me who I would prefer if I had only two choices of person to run the UK, either Biden or Putin, well it wouldn’t be Putin. Hope your laptop problems are resolved soon.
