Of course he sees the funny side, if you can’t laugh at yourself occasionally you might aswell pack it in now. Go on JI give us another epic six paragraph diatribe, you were born to do it baby.

It’s the not knowing that creates these crappy meaningless conversations but at least you are all letting steam off but in reality it means nowt because nobody knows. Guys we are all passionate about OUR football club so in a way it’s nice to see you all letting your feelings show but we all need to keep it real.
Good point WG, I want him to stay as much as anybody but as I’ve always said, it’s not about the badge at this level of football, it’s always about the money and job security. He shouldn’t bother himself about us he should do what’s best for him but his goals have been a real plus, hope he bags another hat trick tomorrow before he goes.
…..or just not good enough, time will tell he is still young.
Yeah, put that lot in your Highway Code and cherry pick it JI. 😂😂😂
Be a tough game tomorrow but a win last time out at home should be a booster for the boys. Anybody is beatable and this league if nowt else has show us more then most that there are no real shock results.
He should be on the bench tomorrow I guess, good experience for him, match day and all but probably not the ideal choice if Foster gets injured.
Was Paul Cook manager at Wigan before Colclough came to us?, maybe that’s the connection if so.
Could have had Eastwood back but he’s gone on loan to Dale.
Not that one, the other one!
Not Clint FFS, I realise we are a cowboy outfit but come on!!!!!
Still got the extra leg Jake or did Smurthwaite run off with it when he sold up 🤔
LK’s avatar is funnier, Trump can be funny with his distorted conspiracy theory way of looking at events but ultimately he is also politically dangerous. Don’t think LK is in a position to be politically dangerous, he has nothing like the influence or vast wealth of Trump, thank goodness.
JI has already said he doesn’t believe everything in the bible which suggests being a Christian these days does involve a certain amount of cherry picking. Is this how God envisaged the bible being interpreted?, mind you it was written by man not God so I guess we will never know. Just imagine Christians interpreting the Highway Code in the same way, ” right I’m giving way at roundabouts if I need to from traffic coming from the right but I think I’ll ignore Give Way signs and just keep going…….oh f*** “.
Perhaps the club could give us a subtle hint as to why matters are on hold, like we turn up for Saturdays game and the DRE end goal posts have been adjusted to 15 yards apart. “Nudge nudge wink wink know what I mean Arry”.
Maybe the church could get involved, don’t they like supporting hopeless lost causes? It would be the Christian thing to do surely, bill and JI could kiss and make up, do some public preaching together ( well they like preaching that’s for sure ) and ask for a donation to the Iron. Public busking preacher style, got to be a winner😃👏👏👏

Bless there you go again, must be a God given intelligence you possess. Blessed are the meek or was it the humble 🤔

Guess that was the bible quote then, to end the last post JI?. You always post very detailed responses JI and I applaud you for that but you do appear to have a bit of a monkey on your back when certain posters disagree with you, no need for the six paragraph first part of your monologue at all, just make your point and move on, I personally don’t see any need for it TBH, others may but it doesn’t really add anything to the overall points you make about your faith.

I guess we are more under threat then Southend because we are up for sale and the owner has stopped the funding of the club as he did in the past. Southend appear to have come to an arrangement with HMRC about their tax position and just keep soldiering on.
Always thought Beck was better than Clapton.
Though I know that sounds like heresy to some!
Both brilliant technically but Jeff was more innovative IMO, loved the way in later years how he just used the fingers on his right hand as opposed to using a pick, deffo gives you more feel and as Knopfler has shown it’s a remarkable technique for an electric player, opens the range of the instrument up more. The term genius is overused somewhat but in Jeff’s case I think it’s appropriate when it comes to guitar playing.
Good stuff NI, when Jeff played there was always a silver lining. Sad day, one of the all time greats and probably the best ever, although there are always other contenders. RIP Jeff, thanks for the music.
It says an initial offer, that’s either somebody other then Simon and Ian or it refers to the first offer they put in going back a bit which was rejected at the time. That’s if I’m understanding it all correctly and if so the bit about further offers to follow refers hopefully to just Simon and Ian, fingers 🤞
We are already under an embargo thanks.
He will be gone now as a Tory, comeback as an independent and lose his seat next election. He’s a nasty little piece of work who deserves binning.

Dear me what a terrible owner, come on Simon and Ian keep pushing the prawn.
A centre forwardless formation
Won Man City a couple of Premiership titles 😲
Prepare for incoming bible quotation putting everything to rights.
Their keeper didn’t have his best game though…
Their defender’s were giving the keeper pelters after the second goal, personally I think the whole defence just switched off. Great work by Lavery but if we had conceded like that then I would have been annoyed at our defence.
Ah.
You been to the docs with a bad throat les 🤔
No thanks, all white too much like Leeds, uggh.
Butterfield is under contract till 2024 why would we sell him.
Because with the club remaining unsold and struggling to meet wages all the time, any cash flow improvement through transfer fees would help keep the club afloat. Some other club comes in with an attractive offer to a cash starved club like us for one of our players and it might prove hard to resist. Seems a fairly straightforward analogy to me and players move on every January for some reason or another.
His similarity injury wise to Luke Williams is quite uncanny, talented but not a ghost of a chance of playing.
