McAtee had a questionable attitude under Russ Wilcox but showed lots of promise under Hurst, I remember the 2-2 draw at Bradford, he was outstanding. Hurst was just turning things around and we were starting to play some decent football under him when the axe fell, completely stupid and unjustified decision IMO.

Thought the topic on this one was about an old pair of wranglers being thrown in the bin, thank goodness it’s just the same old humdrum from you know who. 🙄

Water, two atoms of hydrogen an explosive gas, and one atom of oxygen. That’s what cars should eventually be run on. Oh, and I see duo faceted BI is commenting on someone posting again when they said they wouldn’t. The same BI that once posted ‘This forum is a farce, goodbye’. ‘Hello’ soon followed! 🤭

Don’t forget he’s a Tory, completely within character.

They are there to take the flak and offer little. They seem to act as though on NDA’s.

If they’re privvy to board meetings, maybe they are?

And as for the state of the ground. When your house is up for sale do you bother fitting a new stair carpet?

I fitted one to sell my last house! Tart the place up a bit, make it look a bit more attractive to buyers. Get a better price than if we’d left the old threadbare one.

FFS don’t encourage the owner to spend £10,000 on tarting the ground up now, he will then ask £9 million instead of £8 million for the place.

So Iron-awe, do you really honestly believe that you are right in suggesting that your illegal drop out boat people have more right to be placed into accomodation rather than one of our own that would avail an hospital bed if they were given the chance. No matter how deluded you are, please answer that question, and please give your true answer!!!!, no silly remarks pal, just the plain truth, then end of story on the subject.

The reason most people remain in hospital when well enough to go home is because in the main they are elderly but due to Tory cuts over the years in the social care system there are not enough carer or healthcare staff to pay them home visits on a regular basis to administer the care they need to be independent. Your point is baseless as per norm.

Over 100 people that are in North Lincs and SE Yorkshire Hospitals are fit enough to be releaced, but their are no accomodation for them to go to, so they remain taking up over 100 hospital beds, wouldn’t be great to have put most of them into the 77 spaces given to the illegals that have invaded our shores????, but that makes too much bloody sence I suppose!!!!

Now now, last word on the subject remember, now go away please Mr Blinkered, thank you.😎

Buck’s back on the defensive as usual, ” just personal insults ” he says when it’s a matter of defending oneself against Bucksiron hypocrisy and double standards. How’s your state of mind doing dude 🤔.

Hasn’t stopped most club owners, you don’t buy a football to make money far from it.

    Exactly.
So you’d have to be egotistical or mad to do so?
Or extremely wealthy and able to sustain losing millions a year without having regrets?

Sounds like the Liz Truss School of Economics. 😲

Imagine the fans reaction if Kane had been booked prior to coming onto the field for wearing the arm band , got booked in the game and sent off as a result, the right wing media would have crucified him and fans would follow like the sheep they are. As Siderite points out the damage was done prior to the tournament, FIFA took their 30 pieces of silver then went back on their statement that all fans would be welcome, beer for proper fans was cancelled going back on what was signed up for because the human rights abusers suddenly got their feathers ruffled about their beer agreement. It’s a shame all the leading football nations didn’t say two days before arriving in Qatar, ” actually you can shove your prejudiced tournament up your arse, we aren’t coming because we’ve changed our mind too “.

BS and his broad brush approach to most things discussed on this forum is actually a very narrow minded way of looking at issues we all discuss, I have always felt he is a victim of his generations thinking, I reckon maybe 90% of his generation would agree with him but that’s just my viewpoint.

Prefer mash with it but not averse to fat chips for a change.

The Moss did excellent fat chips, transport cafe chips are thicker then chip shop chips but despite their inferior brains they taste great with lambs liver😂. The gravy is the key IMO, good thick onion gravy, almost makes me want to go back on the road again.😋

At least it won’t be two minds or rather two faced as your good self, you reek of hypocrisy and double standards and smugly run your superior eye over everybody else who dare take an opposite view or challenge your arrogance. I’m fine thank you very much, I will leave you and your state of mind to dwell on that.

CHIPS!!!!! Are you mad? Mashed potato every time.

That’s from my Moss cafe days on the England/Scotland border ( well very near anyway ) back in my trucking days cass. We had bread and butter with it too and it was very good plus a big mug of tea to wash it all down.I get your point but don’t knock it until you have tried it mate but then again maybe you have.

Always prefer lambs liver with chips, peas and some nice thick onion gravy 😋. In all seriousness it’s absolute bollocks, they back track on allowing the fans a drink in the ground after signing the deal because the Qatar royals stuck their nose in last minute but allow the wealthy in their corporate boxes to neck it down them. Then the armband fiasco, the tournament should never have gone there but this is what happens when money and corruption ruin the game. I think there will be some more shit to come yet before it’s over.
