Deliberately so… Save Our Scunthorpe!
Nelson probably not the best analogy then considering he liked sinking things. 😂
Do they have the required funds more to the point? I hope so
Indeed, a fans backed consortium, six million quid required.
There was me thinking you were on about the way your trousers fitted.
Would you be allowed in a UK ground?
No but you seem to be ok with flares as plenty seem to get in week in week out in UK grounds.
He can’t and he won’t but he will demonize the EU for as long as your prepared to listen. I believe it’s called whataboutery.
Worth a punt? 😂
Try and keep warm Sir Oti the ambulance is on its way, eta, three days. Well it is an emergency after all.
Myrrh is the favourite with the bookies from the West.
Life is tough for a lot of people but bill is really having a bad time by the sound of it.
Yes it takes a lot to admit you got it wrong for Buck’s it would take a brain transplant, him being the donor of course. 😂

I think we can all agree Farage is a pot of shit, surely.

Love how he takes the right wing media apart so effortlessly, a complete natural when it comes to debating. Buck’s could learn a lot from Mick.

There wouldn’t have been crusades in the first place if it wasn’t for religion, the root of the problem yet again.

Bish certainly doing a good job, former player who is well liked but the overriding problems would be at his door as they are with anybody new coming in. Would hate to hear Bish getting booed end of the season because we finished bottom and he could not do enough resource wise because they were not available to him to make the difference necessary. Oh for a new owner and a bit of a capital injection into the club then yes I believe Bish would be welcomed back with a fighting chance of keeping us up.

Can’t close it down, haven’t got to page seven yet.
We are just going round in circles really, the problems won’t be resolved till the club is sold and my money is on redevelopment of some kind on the GP site rather then us being sold as a football club.

I won’t be there either, although not a season ticket holder these days I do attend most home games but these changed kick off times don’t sit well with me. My eldest grandson is playing Saturday morning at 11 o clock and I’m not missing his game to watch the Iron, I’ve got my priorities right plus his games are more entertaining to watch anyway.
Ditto Cliff, great minds think alike at similar times.
Fantastic stuff DM thanks for posting. Wilko played almost entirely with the backs of his fingernails or thumb and first finger pressed together like an imaginary pick, came off stage often with bleeding nails and finger ends. He didn’t give a shit about that because it gave him the sound and style of playing he wanted to put over. What a great band Feelgood were, sadly missed but never forgotten 😎🎸
I’m wondering if our leading scorer has played his last game for us, isn’t he due a three match ban for an instant red card? If so that just about takes him up to the January window and a move away, good luck to him.
I note that all the players sold over the one million mark were all when the club were under the ownership of the man who allegedly ran the club as more of a hobby by the current owner. Things change overtime but facts are a constant reminder to everyone who believes we were worse off under the previous owner and we were also a football league club. As for Hurst and his ability to develop a player of a certain value, that is pure speculation and as always dependent on the resources available within the club at the time, he’s certainly getting a good fee from Luton for McAtee pro rata the value of most league two players.

Hurst couldn’t keep Grimsby up when he went back.
True but he brought them back when the new owners got their feet under the table and presented him with a reasonable budget to work with. They also improved the match day catering and therefore the match day experience which all helped to bring in bigger crowds, a better atmosphere which all helped Hurst and his side to succeed. As I said in another thread, everybody has to pull the same way if a club is to succeed from owners to turnstile operators and IMO that’s is why the cods are doing much better now then previous under Fenty.
The USA were better then us,simples though why Foden and Grealish didn’t start to freshen things up is beyond me and apparently Southgate too. He picks the team but if those two start we win the game IMO and I can take four points out of six with Wales to follow because he will change it and England will win and therefore qualify with ease.
What!
Now you are now missing the point CMC by digressing, Hurst would have kept us in the football league and the replies to your dismissal of his abilities have pointed to the reason why he should have been retained as a manager. The rot set in when Hurst left and the owner decided not to fund the club anymore to the level that would have kept us as a league club with a decent manager in charge.

Yes it was very poor tonight, strange nobody came on here and raised a thread about the 6-2 win on Monday. Guess everybody missed that one 🤔

Maybe Buck’s should start the new climate change thread on page seven, then it can be shut down sooner 🤔.
Will the managers office be repainted in yellow so when Robert walks in Daws can announce, ” Lemon entry my dear Watson ” 🤔.
