Don’t think the early ko helps, why only 1400 away fans from a big city just 60 miles away with a good side sitting second in the league and looking to go top?
Notts sold out their allocation.
Thanks for that, we obviously should have sent them more tickets then.
Don’t think the early ko helps, why only 1400 away fans from a big city just 60 miles away with a good side sitting second in the league and looking to go top? Doesn’t add up to me, I’m guessing Humberside police suggested the ko time, probably cost us between 600 to 800 extra fans compared to a 3pm start IMO. I’d have been there if the ko had been the usual time, I’m guessing a lot more from both sides would have been too.
Perspective, how many teams have Notts County beaten this season, how good are they compared to the bottom half of teams in the National League? These are obvious and easy questions to answer, we need changes, that’s another obvious answer, we need investment, obviously, it will take time and patience before change arrives.
So 2800 home fans , didn’t exactly pack the park after all then. Baby steps I’m guessing rather then renewed vigour and bigger crowds returning straight away. It’s going to be a long road but the overall feeling of optimism is burning brightly and the recovery has started with new owners, we have to give them time and respect to turn things round.
Well said now go and have a lie down you’ve earned it.😂
for the city of Hull a great servant,
I agree with this part and he did clear the Tigers big debts which was very admirable but the name change for the club was a massive issue with fans and maybe TW can shed more light on that but he seemed to go out of his way to antagonize a lot of Hull fans which I found odd.
No surprises in your version of events either Buck’s.
bill accusing people of failing to answer, now that is genuinely funny. 😂😂😂
I’ve got an idea.
I think Jesus will be tied up organising his birthday party ( again ) in a few weeks time bill…. oh you mean Brian Laws 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

You make him sound more like a government minister then a footballer DM.
Very appropriate DM, well done. 👏👏👏
A generational mindset, over the next twenty years a lot of the problem will I believe have literally died out.

Who gives a shit, you don’t rebuild a club first game out particularly against possibly the best team in our league but the atmosphere will have changed and there is hope again for the Iron long term once this deal is officially done.

Well if the new partners are paying the late wages owed NOW then I presume they will want to take charge of Saturdays gate receipts, seems reasonable enough to me to expect that.

Will be done when Simon and Ian get things finalised. Come on guys don’t hang about he may change his mind.
Sounds promising but let’s get it over the line then celebrate eh?

Saka didn’t cost the country 30 billion quid, no comparison.

I blame net zero. It’s at fault for everything, from this to the Chinese protests to FIFA deciding Qatar as a host nation for the world cup. :-)
No bear baiting on here thank you.

Sidey, Ray Clemence is sadly no longer with us.
Thanks JI and NI. I completely forgot that he had passed away. I am expecting too much if his ghost to communicate! :-)
If someone has a ouija board they could try asking him.
Are totally selfish people who are just bothered about self interest capable of showing an ounce of decency? I’m guessing probably not but I hope I’m wrong.

The USA selection and tactics were not correct but this happens to lots of teams, look at Poland last night, absolutely clueless set up that must have left their fans so frustrated. Argentina lost their first game and their fans were on the verge of suicide but have managed to win their next two although still being barely above average. At least Southgate took the lessons learned from the second game, made changes and took a different strategy into the Welsh game. Let’s be right, despite all the blah blah blah about Welsh togetherness and bravery they were crap and deserve to go home, so much bigger games ahead for England. I believe Rashford has played himself into the starting eleven after Tuesday and it’s a nice problem for the manager now having players on form and fit. Personally I thought Henderson was immense for England last match, what a leader on the pitch, much better captain material then Kane IMO but I appreciate he me not get the nod every time whereas Kane is a shoo-in if fit, despite not scoring yet at this tournament.
If the players haven’t been paid then surely the club have broken their contract with the players, that could be interpreted by the players union to take legal action against the club. If the players refused to play it seems like an acceptable route to go down if they wish.
It’s what happens to clubs going bust, don’t think the majority will be too surprised by the news about non payments.

It’s amazing that you appear to have one friend for each profession and that each friend agrees with you every time in contrast to the vast proportion in each profession who don’t.
Uncanny!
Most PR is an expansion of what the author wants the public to believe rather then what the facts actually are but hey it looks impressive when written down for others to ponder.
Don’t mention the pies!
I thought someone might bite DM. 😂
9 goals in the group stage, similar to the last world cup. More goals than England scored at the 2014 (2), 2010 (3), 2006 (6) and 2002 (6) world cups put together. But, sure, Southgate’s a negative, defensive manager who plays with the handbrake on.
and the 2010 and 2014 squads were poor and mismanaged.
Ah yes the much vaunted golden generation as I recall the press gushing over.
I’m no Heseltine fan but I’d take his political view on Brexit rather then you Bucks, personal choice of course. He is a former government minister with vast years of experience unlike yourself just a PR guy with what appears to be a certain type of agenda. As I say just a personal view and not a bit of personal abuse in sight BTW.
I know it’s pedantic cliff but Clemence was 17 wasn’t he when he got stuck in? However l appreciate Foster is no Clemence.
