Nice to see Foster and Shrimpton in the side, guess the admirals throwing the dice hoping to keep the job. Hope it works today for them.

Are those straws getting any easier to clutch these days Awaywego 🤔

Hard to make a statement as a prospective new owner when Mr Sensitive is the seller, he’s only waiting for an excuse to change his mind again IMO.

Was Joe told if you don’t go now there is no club sale, it goes tits up and you’ve no job anyway? Conspiracy theory but a possibility methinks 🤔

It was stated in an interview with Simon on Humberside that it ” included all the land “, make of that what you will but it’s right to be cautious IMO. No season ticket for me yet that’s for sure.

Very good, a noble effort, relegation doesn’t have quite the same ring as Christmas but it’s entirely appropriate. 😂👏👏👏

You could say everyone who posts on this board has an agenda but some have a more balanced one then others.

The propaganda machine of painting the unions as the unreasonable bad guys is well under way but the government should watch out, the number of workers taking action is growing daily and a lot of them are in occupations very much loved by the public. Necessary public service jobs have been treated appallingly by government for a long time now, patience is wearing thin with this government which has a new PM but he is beginning to speak the rhetoric of previous Tory governments. There is going to be trouble no matter how much Rishi threatens, people have had enough of being treated like shit.

I think you have a point DM about being rigid in their views but as Warnock stated in his Georgia campaign, ” it’s not about left or right in lots of debates now, it’s about right from wrong “. The Republicans have backed the wrong horse for far too long, it needs the party members in Congress and the Senate to start calling out Trump by name as the problem, instead of cowering in the corner pretending to be politicians who care about the direction of their country under another Trump bid for power.

Now an overall majority in the Senate without the vice president’s casting vote for the Democrats. Not a big surprise that Warnock beat the ridiculously unsuitable Herschel Walker for the senate seat in Georgia but it once again shows that reasonably minded Republican voters will not vote for a Trump backed candidate who is ridiculously unqualified and has such a dubious reputation in his personal life. If Trump gets the Republican nomination again then he will lose again, when will Republicans start waking up to this fact, Trump is unelectable now, he’s lost them everything since 2016 and the narrow majority they now have in Congress will not make a big difference, their infighting in the party will see to that. No wonder Biden is smiling a lot more these days.

I’m guessing it’s Feeney’s last season anyway, his age and that nasty hamstring injury won’t have done him any favours.

It is nice though to have examples though rather than your platitudes Deerey, any reasonable person would accept examples. Don’t forget I was questioned on where the info came and was happy to oblige Especially when one said I’d got it off back of a penguin bar wrapper.

I never asked the question it was someone else, I just gave an opinion to where you might have got it. In fairness I did change it to the back of a fag packet, more to suit your image then anything else. Twenty Woodbine perhaps whilst tending to your whippet and pigeons. 🤔😂

Portugal looked to have unearthed another real talent in young Ramos, just in time as Ronaldo calls it a day, probably after this tournament. Wouldn’t surprise me if he jacks in the International scene after this World cup.

I think a reasonable comparison can be made with our fishy friends when they changed hands, they went down then came back up straight away, albeit from this league back to the EFL. Good chance we can do the same next season from the NLN back up to the NL.

He was much worse Awaywego and you know it, Wharton never got us relegated out the football league which will end up costing us a ton of money on top of what it has already. No comparison and you won’t sell your version of events to anybody on this forum that Wharton was as bad.

Think this month sounds more a case of ” if you don’t make me an offer and pay this month’s wages you won’t have a club left “. Last month’s delay was basically the last chance saloon for the club, we owe Simon and Ian a great debt of thanks.

I doubt that, the polls it is popular is according
Iam sure”sir Kier” will hate it but he has his seat in the lords to fall back on if it goes pear shaped

He can’t abolish it then go and sit in it later on, I think it’s a very popular idea with a lot of the public, the HOL has had its day, get rid.

Will be a very popular move IMO, the HOL is a throwback to a time not relevant in a modern democracy. By all means have a second chamber but a much slimline version where members are elected in and out on a fixed term basis. Can’t think why the establishment would complain?, ah yes it would give the people of this country a say in who was elected into powerful positions. How silly I forgot for a moment. The British/English Senate maybe depending how far this power distribution goes?, that would please our cousin’s across the pond.

Thought Rashford would start tonight but Saka his replacement scored a very good goal to justify the managers faith. Also Henderson who gets a lot of negative vibes on here was excellent and took his goal very well. Bellingham and Foden showed just why they should be nailed on England starters every game and yes we started slowly and played poor for the first thirty minutes but hey, it’s the World Cup, we won’t dominate every game all the time because the teams left are pretty good too. We won the game and second half game management was spot on. The French game should be a cracker because both teams strengths are quick attacking players and both defenses are not that great. I just hope it’s a very open attacking game where we play to our strengths and give it a real go which I believe we will. Both teams will fancy their chances and rightly so.

Yep some of the country still don’t get it and I guess some never will but as I posted earlier quite a lot will die out soon. Look it’s a mindset based on upbringing and what was taught at the time, yes it takes time but it will eventually get there so we keep on commenting but we know that time is the key. Just a footnote, I caught Farages version of these unfortunate events on you tube the other day on his GB news show with a live audience and it’s token black person in attendance, sounded remarkably like Bucks version to me. So there you go just an opinion.
