Didn’t Friday night games at the OSG get bigger gates, or am I imagining it?
Oh those nights at the OSG back in the 1960’s, the Iron netting a late winner and the skies lighting up that orangey/ red over Lysaght’s ( Normandy Park Works to you young un’s).

Hope the last one is a keeper because we need proper cover, saving grace on all these signings is the permanent additions are all in their twenties or early thirties and have played games at different levels before, one loanee is from a Premier League club. The chairman is trying his best to move things forward and surprise surprise he won’t be throwing stupid money at it like ” you know who ” did because it’s not sustainable. All the ” not for me ” commentators need to start thinking about reality for once and not ” pie in the sky ” economics.

All so far seems very positive, yes they will take a little while to bed in but at least they are coming into a club that appears to be turning it’s form round. Some cameos off the bench may surprise us all, let’s hope so, no mention of length of contract yet for the three permanent signings, which should be addressed IMO.

Yates was awesome and there was a young full back who was decent – can’t remember the lads name (Gabriel?)

I think it’s fair to say the playing side has been underfunded for the past four seasons, perhaps the new owner is trying to redress the balance but there could well be staff cuts coming elsewhere.
