Yep and he took us into non league for the first time in 72 years under his careful stewardship and almost into oblivion.

Buck’s never mentioned the British shrinking economy growth forecast, indeed a negative this year whilst other leading economies, including a struggling Russia are all growing by a significant margin, that was in the BBC report too. Typical PR, only deliver the bits of the argument that suit your agenda, never tell the whole story, he was born to be a Tory old big head.
Never met Buck’s but I’m guessing his head must be huge to contain such a gigantic brain.
Guess he can sign now.
I’d heard he was the restaurant guest last game of the season ? ;-)
Will they be serving pies or will they have run out 🤔
When do you think we’ll leave?
I refer you to the quote by Paul Weller posted earlier, don’t worry you might be dead soon and then it’s only your kids and grand kids that have to worry. Only paradise awaits you, the rest of us are pretty much ****ed.
Just an aside on this topic, if the steelworks gets an upgrade, will this forum be upgraded to Electric Arc Furnace? 😲

Don’t think we’ll here from him, might hear about him in a bankruptcy court.
The Swann has left our club, so everyone should be singing the praises of our saviure.
Saviure BS, is that a brand of your favourite champagne 🤔🍾

That’s a good idea Pat but would it bring money into the club? PS. Sorry cass you beat me to it.

Hope it’s like Nigel Tufnel’s amp!
Would be nice if Vox/Marshall sponsored it, even more money into the club funds.
If that’s the case bill we should be seeing it in action on Friday night then.

Don’t think anything would have happened till the Gambler caught the last train to Vegas, it can now obviously proceed.

Electric Arc Furnace would mean a lot of job losses, I think
Loss of heavy end with ironworks, BOS plant, remaining coke ovens, sinter plant….
I guess that’s the march of progress although others will argue against anything green I guess, better to have some jobs then none but we can’t really change what happens in industry can we.
will Anderson and White be coming with him?
Don’t think we need an ageing test cricketer and a washed up snooker player TBH.
I believe they need a handout to meet the zero carbon emissions Cass and start producing steel in a more ” green ” way. Who wouldn’t want a little help with that, it’s the governments baby and it ain’t cheap. Mind you, nowt in steel making is cheap but I’m sure they could still be persuaded to cough up a little sponsorship dough. Plus it’s a proper link to the town not some namby pamby hotel in Blackpool that no-one gives a flying f*** about

Job done then, get British Steel in let’s make some money.
Stuart Thom yep, remember him at the Iron summer training camps coaching the kids, really funny guy and a nice bloke.
Wasn’t it the Stranglers who sang ” No More Hero’s Anymore “? Let’s hope they were wrong after all.
Yeah, Leon Trotsky got an ice pick. Lol.
Made his ears burn as I recall. 😳
Sands venue, Blackpool
Might have a long wait until it’s open!
Apparently the bottom bit is working but the top bit isn’t, sounds a lot like the owner.

Get those Chinese guys up the road on board with some sponsorship, The British Steel Stadium would do for a few years if it pays well.
Yes get the two local lads on the board, might bring a bit of extra dosh with them too. What about the guy who was going to provide a new scoreboard for free when the Gambler had gone?, hope he still comes through with his offer.
David Hilton has moved quickly and decisively, more power to his elbow, great stuff let’s kick on.👏👏👏

Nelson has been retained as Head Coach on a contract ( he didn’t have a contract before ) so his influence on the first team will still be very relevant and is appreciated by the new owner. David Hilton did mention in his interview that Nelson would be retained in some position at the club when he had decided what to do and he has kept his word. People need to calm down and let the situation under the new owner to calm down and give this guy and his management team a chance to prove themselves. Get behind the team and management and back them, that’s what all supporters should do, we’ve had enough shite surrounding our club in the last few years to last a lifetime, move on FFS.

Think a proven striker would have finished off those two breakaways from young Wilson yesterday, he’s a cracking little player and I’m not blaming him that much because he’s still very young and learning every game but getting his shot away early is something he needs to work on, great prospect though and really ran them ragged at times.

Sacked because he’s a dishonest a****le, should have had the dignity and honesty to resign in the first place, he’s not worthy of a ministerial post.

Shut up bloody moaning, going down anyway, it’s all about next season, as for Humberside, great piece of journalism, keep us informed about the club as soon as you know anything, ta.

Well you can’t say Chesterfield didn’t have the chances, just didn’t take them and if you give a big strong guy the freedom of the park to play in the area, you will get beat. Yes it’s a tough prospect but we are playing better now so who knows.
