Wasn’t it the Stranglers who sang ” No More Hero’s Anymore “? Let’s hope they were wrong after all.

Get Bucksiron in to manage the catering outlets.

Visualizing Buck’s in a chef’s hat and grubby apron, brandishing a soup ladle dishing out meagre bowls of gruel at the food outlets shouting, ” now get it down you, stop moaning and no there isn’t anymore “. 😂

The last thing we need is an experienced GK, Foster needs to play in every game and then move to a premiership team in the summer for a big fee, other than that what is the point in having him here you only get experience by playing.

I meant we need some experienced cover Awaywego, nowt wrong with young Foster but the realities mean if he gets injured we dont want the emergency loan keeper route to go down and if Foster does leave, then the exprienced guy is ready made for next season.

If anybody thinks a journalist, be it a local radio sports reporter or a national daily hack isn’t going to break a juicy story as soon as they can, then they are not living in the real world and they clearly don’t get journalism. One minute we are saying we don’t get enough information then the next we are saying we only want the information when it suits us, can’t have it both ways guys, that’s how the world works.

Most people dream the dream until it’s too late simply because that’s how the human spirit appears to be wired, a couple of new strikers and an experienced keeper and who knows but it’s highly unlikely we will stay up. I’m just pleased the team.Is actually back to playing as a team and giving it a real go against the opposition in matches, if we end up going down but survive as a club we can rebuild and come back again, yesterday’s crowd and the atmosphere they created shows that.

Conspire theories mean nothing, facts, numbers and deeds done are the realities of life, just keep supporting your club and give thanks it’s still operating and the Gambler has gone.

If David invites local business men onto the board ( I think we all know two obvious choices ) then sets about contacting fans groups for feedback and hopefully in time allowing fans to buy shares in the club, he will become very popular and the fan base will start to grow again. We are a local club much beloved in the area, we aren’t a global brand and we don’t have millionaires playing for us, so if David thinks local and makes the club more accessible to fans then it’s a win win situation. If we give him time to get settled in I think he could be very good for Scunthorpe United.

Would love to see the names of Ian Sharp and Simon Morris on that board of directors list very soon. Think Turnbull should go but that’s just my opinion.

Chugging along like one of the old Humber paddle steamers.

We’ll get there but it may take a while!

Ah memories of me taking the ferry across the Humber to Hull in my youth, supping bottles of Blue Bass along the way. No lager louts on board back then.

Cheers Poojah, read a few of your posts over the years on the fishy forum, thanks for your support and a lot of your fishy friends too, let’s hope we can resume our football feuding in the not too distant future, even a cup tie would suffice.

All newcomers sound positive but the quick paying of the HMRC tax bill to free us from the transfer embargo is such a tonic. We need to bring in the right players and obviously the fees will have to be sensible, let’s crack on David, nice one and welcome.

It’s the only defence he seems to have nowadays, he must be so disappointed with his Tory favourites, when Johnson got in he was chirruping like a budgie.

Barely a week since Ian and Simon pulled out of the deal and now very quickly this new investor has come forward and a deal is supposedly nearly done. Could Ian and Simon be part of this new investment group and if things go through could they join a new board at GP?

Trumps fact checked lies whilst in ( and out ) of office are truly massive compared to Biden so that point you made was just completely wrong Buck’s, however you believe what you want after all it’s what Trump does all the time.

Still it’s a first that a PM, a Tory PM, has got fines to his name for breaking the law twice, got to agree on that one Buck’s. All squeaky clean here, nothing to see, move along thank you.
