Credit to Spennymoor. Better by far all over the pitch.

Yesssss!!!!! What a peach from Barrows. rocket curling in to top right. Beauty
High tempo start. Need to curb launching it up route one. Not working. Nicholson shaky
Pity Pat O’Cake stormed off in a huff last year. He’d have plenty to contribute to this subject I reckon.

Ah, more toxic round here than turps fumes. No wonder this has died!
Hope this isn’t leading to the ‘strippers’ chat again…
Saw that food pic from Curzon too IFA. Awaywego right about the away fan offering there. After half time I enjoyed a luke warm strongbow – about the only thing left but I don’t think the options before it were amazing?
Tbf Siderite, as 414 was quick to remind me, it was all my fault bringing ‘Simpleton’ in to the forum as an example of the pretty nasty stuff some supporters were saying about Butler on X. But let’s blame the messenger! Apparently it’s also wrong to celebrate a big victory that i’ve watched and not have much to say about a match I didn’t watch. Incredible

Sounds like a promising addition and a huge help for Michelle and the Board. Good stuff

‘Most thought we would be getting 10-12 points from Rushall, Southport, Farsley and Radcliffe.’
Did they? Was there a poll or something I missed? Wasn’t 99.9% was it?
Thanks. I’m in. Talking of steel columns. Couldn’t see a good chunk of DRE corner area last Tuesday. Hope that gets addressed for future games covered. Quite annoying. Camera needed to be out the gantry more.

You say “given away a 9 point lead”.
Does he not deserve credit for getting that 9 point lead in the first place?
Exactly. It’s as though someone else was in charge.

‘Agenda’ you say Siderite? Surely not, from some supporters who were in ‘turmoil’ about Butler’s appointment, Ogle and Butterfield leaving? MKI predicted it right; the first bad performance after Farsley and the Butler Out mob would be trooping out, either on here or other platforms. More so than I imagined. It’s just divisive and damaging tbh.

As you will recall, ‘Simpleton’ was by some charmer on X. I’m not easily offended (for the second time), but that doesn’t change my observation regarding your fast and loose slights.
‘Arrogant / stubborn ; determined not to change in spite of good reason to’ isn’t even accurate. He said in the interview he’s still learning and that they change and respond to games as they progress. You fail to recognise the number of games where the team have looked far better second half which will no doubt be a change in approach at half time. You fail to acknowledge how much more attacking the team were in the 3 games before Radcliffe. These are just a few things
At least you didn’t call him a ‘Simpleton’. ‘Arrogant’ though. For someone who talks about toxicity on here, you’re fast and loose with the personal insults 414.
Yes, I recall the fallout from that Les. I’m still interested in the nltv experience last season to decide if it’s worth risking the fee tomorrow.
‘There was none of this let’s give Dean time Deerey, all i heard he’s out his depth, jobs to big for him, not managed at this level, pub team manager.’
Were there increasing calls for Dean to be sacked so early in to his reign? Don’t recall that and I wasn’t party to it if so. I’m saying give Butler time, in the main because he’s a relatively new manager and is still learning and developing. Dean was supposed to be this quality experienced manager the fraudster signed up. Very different kettle of fish.
I think ‘gates will plummet’ is a gross exaggeration tbh Les
Butler needs to be given time, whether we like it or not. He’s still learning. A long way to go. Don’t be fooled by supporters who start present ‘should he stay or should he go?’ arguments seen elsewhere. Most likely they just want Butler out asap with little care for the damage it would inflict. The likes of X and the Facebook group are rife with them.

‘Given we have limited resources perhaps we should sit tight until either a) Butler proves himself or b) we part ways and let the new man bring in his own players in the hope that he’s got a better eye than Butler.’
Have you become de facto club owner or summerts?

‘A bit patronising, condescending and uppity for me.’
That’s me on a good day tbf.

Wasn’t that his second stint there? Often doesn’t work out for returning managers

‘it ain’t happening at the moment of which you can’t fail to see.’
Of course awaywego, though I should point out for the benefit of 414, I didn’t see the game yesterday (made that quite clear earlier in the day). I did v Farsley which is why I was noisier about that game than one I didn’t actually watch.
