Thought she said in a Humberside interview ‘we’ve created…’, or words to that effect, so I assumed the role was her idea, or a Board decision, at least, regardless of the person appointed?
Update: ‘One Last Pay Day’ added to Saturday night acts.
There’s a valid point there though.
If it’s £65k a month now – where’s the extra cash coming from to plug the May, June & July bills?
We know about the early, early bird season tickets… but I’m guessing that they are using that money to plug the current shortfall.
Looks like we’re screwed? That’s what Francis Austin wants you to believe. Michelle said they needed £5k till season end and £5k savings, according to the accountant.
Similar to Livin Joy. ‘Dreamer’ is a banger for sure, but a whole set?

Lol, ‘wassuuuuup?!?!’ Bantz man!
‘Michelle has taken us as far as she can. Michelle has suggested this herself already.’
No she hasn’t. She brought in a CEO to help with the workload and is welcoming new investment. Very different to her saying she’s taken us as far as she can, but if 2+2=5 it’s fair game I suppose.
Exactly the sort of Bru antics that pushed mentally fragile Super Dave out this.
You’re always going to get drugs at a festival that’s predominantly dance music. The line up’s not exactly going to attract a ‘loved up’ crowd though. The 90s revival night might be less cagey than Columbia night.

Heaven help the club
Don’t know who’s headlining but these utter scrotes are on. Actually, is it satire? Has to be. Can’t help thinking there’s plenty of the easily influenced will think it ‘fo real’.
Binns? Old Binnsy?
See Francis Austin has been lured out of Twitter retirement today.

Ha ha! Only a day later than anticipated. But if the day fits…
Strangely reminiscent of a previous tirade against Kieran, around the middle of 2023. ‘I used to like you mate, used to respect you, now you’re just like the rest of them. I smoke out vermin me…’ blah blah blah, BS, BS, BS…ad infinitum.
Club bashing regarding non playing staff is by very easy to do, like complaining ‘what is it they actually do?’ in accusatory overtones, whilst not really wanting to know what they actually do. Same, rightly or wrongly, with Council bashing, despite them battling with year on year cuts for the last 15 years. Some people are just more adept at this bashing malarkey. Alcazar was a prime example on here. In fairness to AWG, it’s not all club bashing from him, particularly when Peter and Dave ruled the roost.
Lol, this you on the high bar and nosediving awaywego?
Did Kieran mention ‘shitbergs’?

£0.5m loss is how I interpreted it.
‘At the moment, his condition is stable, he is mechanically ventilated and remains in a pharmacological coma.’
Induced coma. Fingers crossed for him.

I might be wrong about it awaywego. Doesn’t mean they’re not sending full accounts to shareholders either.
Wouldn’t have thought so. A company can submit micro accounts under a certain threshold, if memory serves

It was his dad who got me into watching speedway when I met him by chance as a kid, in late 70s. Nice bloke and decent rider
‘Non stop attacks on Bru’ isn’t accurate Les. There was understandable vitriol near the end of his tenure after he stopped paying wages and tried to move us to Gainsborough. Everything before that was justified criticisms and concerns. All the threads related to this period are still around if anyone wanted to do an objective and fair appraisal.

Was thinking they’d be better off asking for a few months extension if possible to avoid distraction from the job in hand on field.
It’s a bad deadline date anyway this time of every season though no reason they can’t file accounts months earlier (i.e. anytime after 30 June 2024 up to today?).

Is this like Severance? Which is Mr Dave? His Innie or his Outie?
You’re not exactly nearby are you Rene?
Maybe you don’t know as much about these things as you make out you do…..
I know nowt about bikes and don’t want to.
F1 is something else I’ve not bothered with for probably 30 years.
It’d be a sad world if we all liked the same.
Unity in diversity.Last time I watched any motorbike racing, Barry Sheen was involved. F1 – Mario Andretti in his black and gold JPS Lotus. Marvelous.

Somehow I just can’t see potential Fans Voice, Reform Dave, being on board with this idea.
My sentiments regarding Wharton too I-A. I’d also add that though Swann picked up some debt from Wharton, he did so because Wharton left it a decent proposition which was frequently cited nationally as a well run club. Very different from an incompetent selling to a vulture and the latter having to be paid to leave.
Wharton did choose (was there any other option?) Swann though, didn’t he.
Yes but there was no reason for him not to pass the F&P test back then and he clearly and transparently had access to funds. Wharton couldn’t have predicted what he’d do over the course of his tenure.
