Always amuses me how fans say all sorts, whether to opposition players, their own players on social media, but some immediately start crying if the opposition players respond or as yesterday Butler called out that constantly slating a young keeper on social media isn’t supporting him to a better player.
I concur. Perhaps Butler’s choice of words a little misplaced but most will understand his frustration and not take it literally.

Just one afterthought, I do think highlighting the weaker part of Maisons skill set so vociferously as we’ve seen on social media generally plays in to the opposition’s hands. Let’s not give them any ammo I say.

Really enjoyed the interview. Might rub some fans up the wrong way but there’s plenty been fired in the other direction.
He’ll back his players to the end, I admire that and it seems to get rewarded through them busting a gut for him as we saw today.

So frustrating to watch. Sutton go down to 10 men on Saturday and are literally all over us for the last 20 minutes of the game. We go down to 10 and can’t get out of our half! Only a matter of time before we’re behind if we carry on like this.
Very harsh view point. We were down to 10 after a very quick turnaround with injuries to key players. Also, huge credit to Maison. Will shut up his hecklers and do his confidence the world of good. UTI

Tough watch that but dug in well. Always going to be difficult with so many injuries, Horton off and Rose injury. Felt good to get the point

If Mr Butler is happy with it then it will not change so all you terrace coaches get behind Maison and help him, our fans have always helped when a player needs it.
Aye. A lot of ‘noise’ about Maison that isn’t usefully criticising whilst pointing out his weak area, but literally demanding he be dropped and calling him useless, shit, etc. Some posters on social media including those from the Bru family should stop and evaluate what they’re posting in haste in my opinion.

Looking forward to it. Weather looks perfect. What’s Maison got to do? Work on dealing with crosses and long balls but focus on his positives, like the two excellent stops in the second half yesterday, and by all accounts guaging his timing like he did when he came way out yesterday but didn’t bottle it and stuck to his guns? According to the commentary.
