Wonder if it was ‘data driven’? Seems to be all the rage nowadays with customer and client relationship building relegated.

Wanting the Cods to beat Yanited last night has bugger all to do with our poor cup showings in recent history.

Putting a positive spin on it seems very business school. Like calling ‘cuts’, ‘savings’ and ‘redundancies’, ‘re-design’.

We’re not all two teamers, though I know most Leeds Iron would have been delighted last night.

‘Still can’t believe scunny fans wanting the cods to win, sacrilege.’

Thought you might say that. For one night only. And I had a shower this morning to get rid of any fishy smells! :0

To be fair to Amorin, at least he’s got enough class to actually turn up in person at Blundell Park. Unlike Ferguson when they played us.

Certainly got to know the BP dugout well during pens. Not a good look.

And we should say thanks again to those Cods who contributed to our fundraising appeal. Great night for you!

Would this be one of the Cods most famous victories? Man U are so shite, beating them seems hardly a scalp these days.

Seems to be a fair number of Iron fans supporting the Cods tonight on social media. Loving the pouring rain. Very symbolic.

Careful if you’re signing up for one month and how many non 3pm Saturday games you’re going to get. I think November and December are like one game per month on closer fixture inspection. If ever i watch now I use the app on the smart TV. Never a problem on it. Laptop was problematic

Having watched the goal on the highlights a few times just now, I wouldn’t judge Maison to be in no man’s land for the equaliser. He’s on his front post (no defender is). Main problem is no Iron player spotted Terima running in on the far post (or were over ran as we we’re already down to 10 men), unmarked for a simple nod down to two Halifax players with only Maison to beat unless one of ours intercepts. He’s directly behind the ball when the shot was taken. I admit to being a defender of Campbell but after numerous replays I think it’s more a case of us being over run down to 10 men and Halifax capitalising on that. If there’s any finger pointing I’d blame Horton for the red mist. That goal may well have not happened had he not been foolishly sent off.

Why are we so much more under pressure against 10 men than 11. (i.e. Sutton). Surely the idea is to have overload of players upfield to reduce the oponents ability to press us.??

Only saw the highlights v Sutton so not sure why we didn’t press more when they went down to 10. It happens a lot when teams are reduced to 10 though. Whatever we did, I’m guessing it worked as we won the game? Monday was different and we sat back completely – mitigating factors including quick turnaround, heat, injuries etc.

Not that interested but I think Potter’s probably one more defeat away from the sack and from what I can tell Bowen retaliated to some fan abuse and apologised. Different context entirely to the situation with Butler’s comments. If he apologises at all I suspect it will be under instruction from the Board so it would all be tokenism. Don’t really care either way tbh. The ones who seem to care the most are those that overstepped from lively criticism to insults and abuse.

Ah, golden days. The meat and two veg style of attack. Loved to see it.

If he is looking at social media then he’s ignoring his and Maison’s defenders. We are few but pretty vocal. Kind of tells me he’s getting drip fed the harshest criticism.

I get what you’re saying and plan B clearly needs working on regarding capitalising on Beck’s strengths. That said, before yesterday’s sending off I think we were creating enough to have merited a few goals by match end. Would have liked to have seen Beck and Howe together. Also, I see Beck as a final 10-15mins sub to give Whitehall a rest and hold the ball up / present a different issue for opposition defenders.
