First song i played air guitar to, about 8 years old, around 1974. Something about that chugga chugga rhythm in the chorus got me. Love Aladdin Sane. Complete album. No duffers. Pretty mind blowing listening to the spectacular and bizarre piano virtuoso and reconciling it with a passage of music so many people know inside out. And slap bang in the 70s beside the Starsky & Hutch theme tune.

That album by Bowie and the Spiders from ‘ull is still a cracker, DM.

Maybe one for Two Wrights, is that what Spiders (or ‘Sparders’) nightclub was named after? And, is it still going? Only went a few times in the early 90s but cracking nights out.
