Iron on Humberside straight via BBC Sounds app working fine today, 100 miles away
You should be easily identifiable on the highlights BLT every time an opposition cross comes in:

Take it you mean on the share front CMC.
Doubt it really from what Michelle said she will pocket the money from the sale of the £25,000 worth she’s prepared to release.
Hardly what the trust want in helping the club financially or the general sentiment from everyone else.‘Chair and co-owner of Scunthorpe United, Michelle Harness said: “Following a number of positive and constructive meetings with the Iron Trust over recent weeks, I am pleased to have received a pledge from the Iron Trust to purchase £25,000 of my shareholding at the club, of which the payment for these share will go into club funds.’
They’re struggling for goals recently and I think we’re pretty solid at the back.
2-1 Iron. Don’t see them scoring more than one.
‘Sustainability’ was mentioned and Sharp said the club are not a million miles off it, or some such. That mixed in with ‘7 figure’ investments (in reality loans?) and the need to bring in more investment to achieve ‘sustainability’ but also needing to pay the loans back in the future: I’m struggling to marry this up. How can we be truly sustainable while we owe loans back? Essentially in debt. Maybe I’ve misunderstood but the maths / logic doesn’t quite add up. If there is another forum in the future it would be helpful if the fiscal side was explained in a little more detail. Right now, debts in the form of loans whilst seeking more investment (loans?) does not equal sustainability, I don’t think. One thing’s for sure, if FCbollocks had gone ahead and been successful (highly debatable), the current Directors loans might have been paid back.
Wholeheartedly agree, just a shame the post I cited appeared so soon. Nevermind.

Noticed someone on the Facebook group replied to Butler’s well meaning plea for supporter group harmony by requesting Bru to be shut down. Strewth. Fair play for trying Andy.

Roberts explained the business decision making process behind Merch Labs and Little Cup Cake. He didn’t get drawn on communications between the club and those two. From what I understand, it’s the way it was communicated that they are most displeased about, along with the contract / arrangements. If the Board are learning from mistakes, perhaps something to pick up on?
‘Also, I’d like to know who was the genius that decided paying an £800 A MONTH subscription for a bloody washing machine was a good idea!?’
I got the impression it’s a Hilton legacy?
It was a little disappointing to hear / see the increasing sighs and niggles every time Barra said, ‘and another question from Matt Blanchard’. Don’t get me wrong, I thought Barra did an excellent job hosting, but at times it did feel like setting skittles up. I’m not sure why the withering from some of the Board for perfectly reasonable questions, but there you go.
‘We all have the club’s interest at heart even when we ask the tough questions.’
Totally. That’s why I was pleased they covered the loans subject and Michelle said those who made them are going to expect them paid back at some point. That’s exactly why we have a vested interest in the decisions being made, good or bad. Because at some point it will be the club needing to pay them back.
Overall, I think it was a good session and I think it would benefit everyone, and all parties, to schedule regular forums in the future. I think all the tough questions were asked. In the second half Roj seemed to admit mistakes were made over FC100k and Weekender. Sharp seemed to disagree and get defensive again. Fair enough. At least they’re being honest about their takes on it. More than supporters of many other clubs get. Appreciate them putting themselves in the headlights and fielding the questions, which they didn’t have to do.

Reasonable questioning does not mean we are not behind you. As for Board division, I don’t think the majority know or care to know if if exists or not.
I appreciate everything they are doing for the club and I’m sure it’s not easy by any stretch and mistakes will be made, I just wish they’d hold their hands up over FC100k and the Weekender and admit they were mistakes too. Still don’t get this position that they didn’t have time to consult the fans on FC100k due to social media and the company’s announcement. Hey ho, we are where we are. At least it was covered.
Though I think our Torps wouldn’t begrudge an extra 10 years or so of life.

Crap! Too late for me.
Really need a heads up on the midweek predictions.
I am retired so I will give a heads up the day before any if that is acceptable.
That would be a great help, thanks. Obviously it’s better and more interesting if we’re all competing instead of not realising.
After such a damning critique, it will be interesting to see if he gets a negative or positive reaction from the players over the next few weeks. I’ll wager he won’t. They may well think, ‘you need to take some of the blame here for how you set us up, formation, tactics, etc’. Unless he follows up with some positive feedback on the training ground, it may all backfire. It’s been proven time and again throwing players under the bus is often folly.
Hadn’t realised. All done now. Cheers! Much appreciated.

Supporters complaining about Bru’s reasonable questions should remember who helped stopped the club going to the wall during Hilton’s reign and who started and drove the fundraising campaign to pay players wages.
Forest Green just made two substitutions 45 seconds into the game!
Another club using a tin pot competition for their own ends? Heaven forbid!
It’s what the PL teams are doing so why not? If the PL teams had to play 4 players from their previous league fixture they’d have thenm off quicker than FGR did.
Ah right, I don’t particularly give a hoot if they do it either.
3-1

There were many things he didn’t like.

For a competition apparently most don’t give a hoot about, a few of you seem to care about treating it fairly. If it’s nothing more than a Mickey Mouse cup, who gives a toss?
‘Certainly not in the spirit of the rules his subs early doors’
Why, is there something in the rules about not subbing early?
Lol, ‘Lee Novak’. Forgot about him.
