Have you morphed into Danny Dyer?
‘Deerey and others have made it quite clear they wouldn’t step in’
Have I?
‘Though I do believe some of the crowd will kick the f out of someone who throws a pyro’
I don’t
I’m reluctant to label them all as ‘lowlife’ as there are multiple reasons at the root of this sort of behaviour and not always the culprits fault, particularly the younger ones. Nevertheless it needs eradicating for the good of the club, and as I’ve said in another post, some other supporters need to stop defending it, deflecting, and making excuses for it.
Supporters who defend it without bothering to think about this aspect need to wise up
“All of these incidents are reported each and every time they occur, and really do have an impact. Each time we are reported for an incident, it takes hours and hours of resources to provide our observations, evidence and defence to prevent or mitigate such charges to be imposed on the club, which ultimately also costs us money”
Clock’s ticking
Desperate if you ask me. Also plenty will be smirking at Tories bemoaning finishing work at 6pm on Fridays given their recent history of partying and dodgy dealing DURING the working day!
Nah, probably fake news, Mussy will ruin him, next Butler interview will be AI generated and I’m expecting ùs to finish bottom, if that!
Well I’m not writing the season off before I’ve seen the new squad under Butler kick a ball 414. I’ll reserve judgement till a month or so in to the season.
Gall of Slovakia’s head coach slating England for time wasting after one of their players tried to get the game stopped with his fake injury before the equaliser, untill he realised the ref wasn’t having it. Even Cole Palmer tried to create a second goal when he could have ran it in to the corner.
I’ve seen the future: two up top, kane and Ivan, lol
Do you have a crystal ball?
Mr Fleece departed last year
1 user thanked author for this post.
Just adding a bit of video ‘balance’ in the absence of alcazar…’muhahaha’ etc
‘I’m managing my expectations and don’t expect us to make the play offs’
Not like you to sow the seeds of doubt 414
Kieth Hill has received is last monthly salary from the club, thanks for nothing Kieth.
Hope you spelled his name right on the remittance
More excuses than Southgate
Surely no coach suggests so much side and back passing?
My mistake. Rather not Trent at right back either. Gomez played well enough at LB this season I believe? There’s plenty of options in midfield and attack but he’s too conservative to make that many. Nothing to lose trying something different but will no doubt be determined to make something work that clearly doesn’t
Harry kane’s play style is that of a false 9, so why doesn’t Southgate just play him as an attacking midfielder behind Watkins so it leaves him to play his natural game while also having an actual striker up front ?. Stick Palmer on the right with Gordon on the left and play Bellingham next to Rice/Mainoo.
Dump Trippier and play Arnold at RB and Walker at LB.
I still can’t understand why Southgate didn’t play Mitchell more and have him bedded in knowing Shaw is held together with duct tape. Mitchell played well all season for Palace and is a natural LB after all.
Southgate’s decisions are poor to say the least.
Trent at left back?? He’s not fantastic defending at right back! Should be Walker, Stones, Guehi, Gomez, Bellingham, Rice, Mainoo, Gordon, Kane, Palmer.
Should drop Bellingham and Kane but he won’t
This you ironfromafar?

Another decent analysis
For the knockout games is it score after 90 mins that we are predicting?
‘Yes’ is the answer
Good question
I say ‘no’ but would love to be wrong
If Foden’s not back in time to prep for Sunday it’s an easier decision to play Gordon on left for him, Palmer on right fir Saka who looks tired, and Mainoo for Gallagher. It’s a win win. If it doesn’t work at least he can say he tried to change it.
Generally poor, particularly first half ball control. Better second, kept possession better and controlled the game higher up, looking for each other, tighter. Some positives seeing Mainoo and Palmer making an impact, even Gordon for that huge 2mins he got, but all too late when it was obvious Saka, Bellingham and others were struggling. I’d like to see both Gordon and Palmer start next game but doubt it will happen. Slovenia defended well but offered very little going forward and we were lucky that Denmark didn’t get a goal and 3 points to top the group. Not confident of progressing much further but you never know. Has anyone else topped a group scoring just goals in the history of the competition? If anyone who hadn’t seen the matches just looked at the table they’d be forgiven for thinking England did well. Anyone who saw the reality must be deluded or have an axe to grind trying to defend it.
Very good evidence based analysis of why England were so bad against Denmark. Worth the 18min watch. Hopefully these problems are being addressed. Prefer this to some patronising and presumptuous journalist telling me how to think, which is very much what Nicholson did in the last two paragraphs of that article. I don’t think there’s any right or wrong over how much it’s Southgate’s fault or the players but the problems flagged up can’t be denied and it indicates the main reason being set up and positioning, regardless of one man’s very subjective theory of supporters having too high expectations.
Slight exaggeration
