£3,375 prize money if we win and £1,125 if we lose. Seems a long time since we last won a cup match

We might be able to get one Oasis ticket with the difference. Av it!

    Lower the game ;)

Not looked in for a long time either. Don’t want to induce nausea.

Newcastle under Lyme. Posher Stoke. Though the old Victoria Ground was nearby if memory serves.

‘Should be made to pay for any fine’

Doubt they’d have the cash to pay for a big club fine, if that’s what you mean. Rather than just a lengthy ban though, if caught they should be put in front of Michelle so she can explain to them why it’s not acceptable and the consequences for the club. They might actually tell their mates and help prevent it in future. All for a bit of prevention with punishment

‘Passing practice for all. Kiddy’s pass success rate must have been twice ours. Hardly wasted a ball whereas we gave it away too cheaply too often.’

Would agree, though it was much improved second half. Maybe nerves in an important game against a big promotion threat in first half?

Some shifts put in there tonight. Never let Kiddie get going second half. Went up a few gears. Huge credit to the players and coaching team. Whatever was said at half time absolutely nailed it. Much more intelligent passages of play, playing to individual strengths, working for each other. Love to see it. Still buzzing.

Loved to see both goals and how they were created. Totally dominant second half. Smashed it. Onwards and upwards.

‘Smoking now,(drinking next?),the full on Marxist agenda is taking shape at a breathtaking pace.’

Are Sunak and the Tories Marxists? This government are following up on his original suggestion for this which they supported before the election.

The proof will be in the pudding. Club can’t afford to have so many players crocked as in recent years. Come season end, if we are markedly down on injuries than before and AB has found a way to balance the GPS advice with sensible substitutions, what’s not to like? If promotion also happens, there really can’t be any complaints IMO. People would complain if we were behind the times, not using tech to our advantage and facing a multiple injury list resulting in players being labelled ‘wage thieves’ and necessitating more loans.

I don’t think any of the comments about Dean are that bad to be honest. Worst I’ve seen is ‘PE Teacher’ and criticisms of his ability. Seen far worse about previous managers. Unless I’ve missed something.

Prompted some interesting links on my phone. ‘How to walk a cake’, ‘how to walk on a cake’ for instance. Stuff I’ve always wanted to know tbh.

I don’t think you’re alone on that one. Guilty as charged. Also, singalongs at open air concerts. Yep.

Surely it’s not a bad thing if it’s used as a tool rather than an instruction or edict? I assume the former is how it’s being used by AB and the coaching team?

New article from music journalist Simon Price that re-hashes a fair bit of old content from a previous piece some years ago. He makes some valid points. Take it or leave it. Just thought it worth sharing as an antidote to the gushing hysteria.

Without much interest in Oasis, an observation of mine is that artists don’t perform at concerts any more, they lead singalongs.

I’d say thats about right for large open air gigs

Good point about it being all about the money. I would agree that In most cases with reunions it is. I do understand that motive to an extent where down on their heels musicians who can’t survive on streaming royalties are needing to do it. These two are doing it to keep their extravagant lifestyles going IMO.

    50%?? Surely not?

Heard £50m each touted. £20m towards Parker’s divorce costs and £1m towards servants to make Liam’s Cup a soups again. He’s sick of doing them himself apparently.

Sadly not managed to avoid all the media and Internet hype the last few days. I’ve come to the conclusion that amongst the die hard older fans who are over excited by the news, there are lots who ‘couldn’t give a shit’ (as one Burnage resident commented) there are a lot of younger people who never saw them live (fair enough) and a large swathe of middle class posho’s instructing traditional working class older folk who saw and appreciated them in their earlier years to stop being ‘music snobs’. Frankly this last cohort can go and f*** themselves. I’m sure this reaction would meet the dim-witted brothers approval.
