Isn’t the poor passing down to the players more than Butler? Hope a lot are rested for the cup. Might do em good. Maybe the heavy training schedule is having a detrimental effect on the passing and first touches?
Fair assessment IMO awaywego

I think we did enough to win that with chances created. Got to be more clinical and improve passing but I’m not overly concerned. Still plenty of positives.

Frustrating. Along with the sloppiness again how has that not gone in, in added time? Looks like their keeper got fingers to it
Bugger
Yesss!!! The Butler-Schof h/t talk works it’s magic again. 1-0 IFA

Creating decent chances. Need to be more clinical and bury a few
We’ve started well, some good link up play in phases. Warrington look underwhelming
I’m on nltv today. You not able to get it?
Good to hear the singers loud pre-match
Pretty sure he was talking about Ogle

Agree with both sentiments. It’s just culture war rubbish
A fair number of players were sloppy, including Whitehall, though I have to say his hold up play and assured layoffs, particularly in the second half were a pleasure to see.
More ‘at it’ from the off with better passing.
Does anyone know percentage of fees the club is getting from nltv this season? I Know 60% has been mentioned in the past but just curious and hoping it’s still a good chunk of the tenner per match covered
September 5, 2024 at 5:28 pm in reply to: Yet another…’what have you been listening today?’ Thread #290545When New Order were still ‘at it’ live with Hooky. And numerous mentions of the dreadful weather. From first hand experience, it really was that bad but the band played a blinder.
Liking Barrows a lot this season. Just a thought – as good a player as Ogle is – was part of his appeal to do with mullet wigs and affability?
Not Dean’s body, obviously.
You’d have to ask him that. Knows his body better apparently.

Iron 3.5 – 0.25 Warrington.
Let’s hope she doesn’t sink along with your grand statement!
He didn’t have time to contribute much at all – like 5mins plus added time? At that stage he comes on and hares about wanting to get on the ball. Can’t judge him much on that cameo. Needs a decent 20-30mins

Tbh, we made it easier for them in the first half when we weren’t quite at it and sloppy. Credit to the players and coaching team addressing some of the issues at half time. I’m optimistic. I think there’s a lot more to come from the squad.

Will probably see more of them in the cup. AB, in last nights post match, mentioned the necessity of rotation / resting players for that game.
Fair assessment from AB I reckon

They certainly didn’t look part time. They’d have got a couple of goals against weaker less resolute defences.
Work rate was hugely impressive

Last 25 minutes a stressful watch, think Curzon should have been down to 10 late on – a great start but still work to do!
Yeah, looked a straight red. Too much going down easy from Curzon. Never felt like they were getting one back second half. They looked more threatening first half whilst we were cagey and sloppy. Much better control of the game second half. Passing improved. Good goal and clean sheet. Ground out. Taking that all day long. Nice little ground. Onwards and upwards.
Sloppy. Need to control it better.
