In terms of effort from the players the standard was set on Saturday. Nothing less is acceptable and they need to be fully aware of fans expectations for every match not just ‘selected’ ‘big’ games. I hope they can quickly recover and repeat their efforts. Come on Iron!!

All sounds fantastic and should make for a great atmos… the fans are turning up ..
WILL THE PLAYERS ?????? as in the past big occasions have been a let down.
utiA huge worry for me IFA. I’ve lost count of the number of times an Iron team has frozen at home when there’s a big crowd there that the club need to come again.

Is the fact that it’s from New Waltham not a clue?
Not really, since New Waltham is indicating that fans64 tweeted the screenshots from there. It doesn’t mean the message was written in New Waltham. I don’t think fans64 is Hilton or the person who wrote that message.
Sadly my tech knowledge doesn’t extend that far, I’m still mainly in the 70’s.

Followed by a win at Hereford making it a sequence of 4. To be a winning sequence of 3 the following game would have to be a draw or defeat bringing the sequence to an end – it wasn’t. Rene’s explanation was quite clear.

If half the team were following JD’s “plan” and the rest were doing their own thing because they “know better” that could explain what we’re seeing.

Jimmy could well be clueless as a manager.
The players may have stopped playing for him.
How about the players start playing for the fans.
How about the players start playing for the Club.
How about the players start earning their wages.
How about the players show some pride in their performance.
How about the players realising how lucky they are to earn a living doing something millions do for nothing.

We got plenty of balls into the box, especially first half, but rarely got anybody on the end of them. Surely it would have been worth trying DSF left and McAlinden right with instructions to cut in and shoot rather than cross. Worked OK with Roberts and Smith.(Who I know are better players)
