Little chance of the G&S Telegraph providing this kind of information:-
“The Hartlepool Mail understands that Adam Richardson, Jake Hull, Ben Williams and Josh Harrop are all currently on trial at Hartlepool United.”
A brief career summary also provided for each. If only.
GK, CB and DMF are the only positions to be filled. Where will he play? Denton back to LB? Hard to see where he’ll be a regular starter.
WILLIE !!!! Are you sure?
Strong stuff that Thai beer is it?Very average IMO.

From the Bolton News:-
“Bolton Wanderers to loan out Dubem Eze to Scunthorpe United
Eze has been pictured in first team training at Scunthorpe, who beat Chester to gain promotion in the National League North play-off final in May
The midfielder has opted to play for Nigeria and reports there claim he has agreed a season-long loan deal.”Based on those figures you’d hope we would have a competitive budget.

Are attempts at a bit of light hearted banter too much?
He’s probably good on Football Manager.
I’m sure the poor, precious boys will be comforted by the wads of cash.
Just seen this on NL News:-
” Maxim Kouogun
The towering defender has been linked with a move to Pools having helped Scunthorpe achieve promotion to the National League last term, featuring 47 times as the Iron won the National League North play-offs.”Surely we can compete with Hartlepool on wages.
Like to keep Maxi, no news at all on him. Agree with IFAs 2 essentials.
Not available to be seen then! There’s my dose of pre season optimism used up.

are looking for a few Iron Fans who could be available this coming Thursday morning (from 7am) for a couple of hours filming as part of this years kit launch video. Please message for further details. #UTI @SUFCOfficialLooks like shirt news is close.
Has he gone or are we/him still thinking?
Will Shrimpton be in opposition? Thought they might have snapped him up by now.
Would people be happy with him potentially replacing Roberts ?
Doubt anybody will be happy if Roberts needs to be replaced but it does look likely.
In the event I reckon Kouhyar would be as good as we’ll get.I think Phils’issue might be to do with announcing at 3.00 “there will be an announcement at 4.00.”
Kouhyar is 27 and a ready made first teamer. Eze, at 20, looks like a Fadera ‘project’. Mind you Fishburn was signed on a ‘project’ basis and that failed.
I’d take both but I really rate Kouhyar.1 user thanked author for this post.
Best laugh I’ve had was hearing someone at the club had suggested Rob WeDontknowhathedoes should be chairman
It seems we’re Notsurewhathisnameis either.
Wouldn’t even have Slocombe as back up to Campbell.
Wow guess he’s pants then cass, wonder how he kept playing in the football league so long being absolutely garbage, fascinating how these guys keep playing for so long.
Just my opinion on Slowcoach, never rated him highly. A decent shot stopper but sadly lacking an all round game, not commanding enough due to lack of physicality. Timewaster from kick off even in home games.
Mussy played plenty of games in the FL so we might as well have him as back up and save money.Wouldn’t even have Slocombe as back up to Campbell.
Top end of the pitch looking good but the rest looks a bit thin. As DSGM says, keeper is key, we obviously need another but will it be a first choice or do they think Campbell is ready.
Yes, didn’t we sign the German fella (Duran Duran or something) based on video evidence?
Oops… forgot about Carlton.
Happy with our strike force.
Got to be 4-4-2 … need a bit of steel in midfield and a creative LM.
And a lad to stand between the posts & play sweeper keeper. With the signings (+ Eze maybe) it’s looking more like 3-2-5.
Pair with Clunan in midfield and we are starting to look tasty!
Or with Danny up front leaving your love child on the bench?
Sorry. I mean’t why are they? Not why do you want to know.
I’d love to know who’s driving this seemingly anti trust agenda
And why?
Dawson & Howe? I guess that means farewell to Danny.
Yes, I agree. Anyway how can you choose between “new signing” and “player retained” without knowing details. I’d take “player retained” every time if it was Roberts or Whitehall and the “new signing” was an 18y.o. as cover at RB or Sam Slowcoach.
Up 3 divisions so has to be a good opportunity, probably the highest level he’s played. Best of luck Ross, just don’t expect as many clean sheets!!
