So says the poster who disappears for weeks/months when asked questions he can’t answer.

Why is Wood still here, doesn’t even make the squad.

Maybe les, but it’ll be the plain white ones that are always left when everybody has picked out their favourites.
Simon Elliott organised free bus travel recently, the way he was repaid won’t encourage a similar gesture.

You’re not Ian Ormondroyd then!
Thanks Fe but I’d been doing that with no luck. Turns out the good old solution of turning off and turning back on again did the trick. Should I have bothered though?
Did Hill give his thoughts on radio Humberside after the Tranmere game. If not why. I too think he may be fed up with Swanny and his promises.
A bit like most supporters then?
The problem with that WG is Hill. In a recent interview his only concern was with players that will run the most. No mention of ability, awareness and experience etc. Based on this he will always go:-
Green before Millen
Pugh before Beestin
Rowe before Kenyon
Anybody before Perry
He seems keen on runners to the exclusion of any other qualities that I am now seriously concerned for the rest of the season.
I much prefer your idea of players that can play (in the right position) and can use their brain as well as their legs. Let’s hope Hill sees the light.Ironawe I guess your the type of person who’s never played football in your life , you have a opinion like we all have but you just haven’t got a clue what your on about
I’ve played a bit and I find it hard to disagree with Ironawe. Can you elaborate on where he’s missing something?
Should have checked the visitors book PI. Somebody “in the know” will be along soon, at least it wasn’t Calvin Andrew.
“Wasn’t Baker younger, though?”
Baker born 1963 arrived Scunny 1996 les.
“with big ugly strikers who are old and whose fitness is in question – I’m struggling to recall too many successes.”
You’re right les, the failures come easily to mind:-
Iwelumo, Ormondroyd, Johnson, Horsfield, Davies, Henderson, Banger.Successes:- Baker and The Beast.
“Sources”????? He hasn’t played for 8 months, he won’t be fit until Easter.
Must be a joke.1 user thanked author for this post.
Where did I say that any of the information was wrong?
Talking of info, Scunthorpe have put more tweets out than any other club in the world (until shown otherwise). So we can’t be all that bad on the info side that people make out.
Sadly much of the information tweeted concerns:-
Ticket sales
I-follow sales
Shop opening times
Restaurant opening
Mascot packages
Sponsorship opportunities
I know the commercial department have their job to do but don’t mistake the volume of tweets of a repetitive nature for the kind of other information that interests fans.3 users thanked author for this post.
Good to see that one director is aware that fans are interested in this sort of information. Thanks Simon.

Looks like Jarvis plus the new kid then, unless a big rough sod enters the building. No pun intended Awaywego.
If the Blackburn lad comes in it must be the end for Scrimshaw you’d think. Also be interesting to know our plans for Hackney, Wood & Billson and if Hill thinks Jarvis is a scoring option I’d have serious concerns for the season.
If Swann was there on Saturday he will know that whoever replaces Loft can’t possibly do any worse, at least the young lad will be trying.
I’m amazed to learn that Barton was there on Saturday and still signed him, unless Barton & Weaver tossed a coin and the loser had to sign Loft.Loft versus Barton could be interesting. Will Joey take on anybody that big?
You are aware that our CEO is also a woman?
WG “Maybe try Beestin for Pugh then as he offers a bit more composure in there.Beestin, Hippolyte, Hackney and leave Rowe sitting?”
CT – Probably the best we can do at the moment.WG “If that Blackburn lad is coming in on loan, which looks like that’s the case, we still need another striker to line up along side him in place of Loft.”
CT – Yes, disappointed with Bunn yesterday after the Oldham performance, what is his best position?WG “Another CB and a more creative CM wouldn’t go amiss either.”
CT – Can’t disagree.WG “Get Turan out on loan.”
CT – Best of luck with that!!!Pugh’s not the greatest player in the world but covers a lot of ground and get’s the tackles in
Same summary as Oldham game:-
Runs around a lot
Can’t shoot
Can’t pass
No point winning tackles if you give the ball away again.
IMO he’s filling the space that should be filled by a creative midfielder.1 user thanked author for this post.
The worst display of passing a football I’ve ever seen. Carlisle had 34% possession and about half of that was down to us giving them the ball. Also the number of times we passed to our own player when he was in a worse position than the passer was ridiculous. Plenty to work on Keith!!

£50k looks like a massive overvaluation after this game, hope we’ve already signed the contract of sale. A complete p*** take by Loft today.

They gave us a 2 goal start last time, do you think we can hope for that again?
Sadly he also mentioned that decisions on players leaving would be made by the chairman and directors, not him. Seems dangerous to me, we all know what disagreement could lead to and if they’re deciding on ‘outs’ are they doing ‘ins’ as well?

Will the Chief Scout be dismissed, continue to receive an unnecessary wage or perhaps redeployed as assistant manager?

Surely a lg 1 team would take a punt on him for that poultry amount ?
Chickenfeed isn’t it?
