Yes it was a strange watch but a win is a win.

Not sure why a few were out injured or flu.
    Watson had a decent game.
Not what Celtic saw in Dawson as he brings nothing to the table for us.

Perfect demonstration of how good we are with our first choice midfield and how poor we are when one or two of them are missing.

Yep Beestin and Ewing need tying down to longer contracts as the energy they bring is so good to see.
Can we have a whip-round for the pair.

2nd half was night and day. Even when Carlton came on he showed Dawson exactly how it’s done. Holding up the ball nicely.

Send Beck out on loan until his contract expires.

Well done AB and realising/reacting to the poor first half. Excellent management.

    Awful first half.

Not sure what Dawson brings up top tbh. For a big lad he wins nothing and looks unfit.

Very lacklustre all over and very poor defending. Seems we can’t cut out crosses for the size of centre backs we have.
    Terrible marking.

KL deservedly in front at a canter

A beautiful day for a game of football. Hope we put on a display to match the weather.

The pitch situation is annoying and surely it’s down to good basic husbandry of the pitch particularly when it’s the infancy stage, what ever happened to people just knowing their job be it the pitch installers or the basic care of it afterwards, ridiculous situation.

the basic care of it afterwards, ridiculous situation. This in my opinion.

DW did enough last night, same with the rest of the squad.
Morecambe weren’t a bad outfit tbh and if that attempted lob had not been saved by RW things could have been different.
We dug in and got a steady 3 points which is all we want. However they come.

The pitch is a mess and now the autumn is in full swing and temperatures will drop it won’t knit. The roots have not taken hence the reason it’s just peeling up.
For me it was not watered enough when it mattered.
We had a dry summer and it wasn’t watered sufficiently and not enough moisture was present to allow a good root growth.

That’s two seasons in a row. Hopefully 3rd time lucky as this can’t go on especially when we’ve got one of the best squad/footballer team in years!

Steady game with 3 good goals!
Looked a little tired from Saturday.

Nice save by Rory to keep us 0-0 first half and a fine save late 2nd half.

Defence fall asleep at times which is a slight worry.
But bar that 3 points in the bag.

    Agree MKI.
Watson’s positioning was woeful yesterday. 2nd half he was so lucky.
It’s like as if they don’t watch the flight of the ball.
He was more interested on whom was in front of him than watching the ball being crossed.

I thought we’d be a mid table team before the season started.
I actually believe with the way AB has set his stall out and the players whom he’s brought in this season we will be in the play-offs no doubt and could easily push higher.

And personally if he had the budget for the last part of the spine would have been to acquire a GK.

We look a very decent side.

100% effort from the team. Can’t ask for anything else.
The engines on Beestin & Ewing are immense.

Poor defending or was it Rory not coming to claim? Couldn’t quite see from our angle.

    Look lightweight up top.

Carlisle looking to getting us a red card or three. Cheating twats.
As usual spoilt by a petty ref

    What a belting win.

Unfortunately not around to see many games but two wins against two top ex league clubs like ourselves is fantastic.

Well done to AB and the team.

A couple of injuries and we struggle to play the tempo of football witnessed so far. Don’t expect 100mph every game and 20 shots but when we play to Becks strengths we look devoid. Nobody reads his flick ons at all.

It’s an awkward watch. Great battling performance but an awkward first 40 mins where we created very little.
The subs didn’t bring much to the team bar fresh legs to chase.
    Back 5 was excellent.

What’s the injury status with Beestin and Whitehall?

Great battling performance from all the team.

    Was Howe injured?

Re Campbell, he had a good safe set of hands today which was great to see. And got a few good pats on the head from his defenders which was thoroughly deserved.
The issue that he has is not is in his handling it’s his setting up/positioning which needs work on. Muzzy!!!
There goal he was set at the front post and struggled to get back to at least the centre of the goal.
So he finds himself rushing back or trying to get himself set which probably doesn’t help him.

Was there some aggro on Donny Road?

If I’d of known Beck was playing I would have stayed at home.
We play awful style of football with him in the team.
    Silly sending off.

    Draw is best outcome

Yep shorts look like they’ve already played a season.
    Shirt is Meh.

And the folk I witnessed in the away kit looks crap too.
A massive step back from last season’s offerings.
Saying that though Woking loved our shirts the amount of times they were trying to rip it off our lads backs.

His antics are annoying for sure but tbh as long as he keeps scoring and winding up the opposition and not getting sent off he be fine.

Butler takes m-o-m Ewing off after an hour WHY ?

Before he got himself sent off I’d guess. A daft ta ole in first half and then potentially a second yellow with another rash tackle.
    Great player though.

Not even schoolboy goalkeeper from Campbell. No pressure at all and completely took his eye off it.
    Fortunately didn’t cost us.

    Nice football at times.
Ewing looks class and a massive upgrade on Clunan.
Sharp in the tackle albeit a daft challenge to get a yellow.
Howe is a menace, fox in the box

Nice start to the season with a confidence boosting win.

It won’t be an easy season but think we’d all be happy with mid-table and above.

Not very imaginative or inspiring is it.

Anyway that’s the GK positions sorted for the season.

Hopefully Will and Co. Can protect these guys like they helped Fitz to keep the number of clean sheets he managed.
