You’re only as good as your last game.
You’re only as bad as your next game.

Might cheer Warrington on tonight from the sofa.

Middlesbrough vs Chelsea reserves not that appealing.

I’m going to be doing the same.
Then tomorrow, I’ll have a look at Chesterfield. Be interesting to compare them with last season’s Wrexham & County.

9 games to choose from on National League TV tonight.

The pass also covers tomorrow’s NL game between Chesterfield & Gateshead.

I think I’ll spend the tenner – as some of the fee comes back to SUFC anyway.

    It’s good VFM.

Five out of Six cats drive Jaguars.

We all want to win every game but it ain’t going to happen.
When we are 2-0 up, we’ve got to go for the jugular and bang in a third and a fourth.
    Attack, attack, attack.
No sitting back and hoping not to concede.
Attack is the best form of defence.

    NLN Team of the Week

    GK – Dan Atherton (Warrington)
    CM – Tom Tonks (Tamworth)

All the best to Dan; and Tom, I hope that you have a stinker!

Our Mr Elliott also made the team.

Agreed; we must avoid being dragged down to kick & rush, hoofball.
We need to dominate teams and have them chasing shadows for the full 90 minutes.
Recently, we only seem to play well for half a game?

North Lincs Council issued 77,236 Council tax bills last year.

I’ve never had the pleasure (if you’d call it that) of using the services of the fire brigade.
Another hardly used facility these days; libraries are there for people to use should they so wish. You can even use the recreational parks or visit a museum too etc.

How about adding £40 per council tax bill to help finance a community asset? That would generate £3,089,440 per year.

Just like the library, it’s (SUFC) there if you want to use it.

Forty quid is nowt – half a tank of petrol… who’d miss that over a year?

77p per week to keep the club alive.
A grab bag of crisps currently retail for 100p in Tesco.

Brown bin day… I don’t generate any garden waste. Can you divert my brown bin fee to SUFC please?

For me, the team doesn’t work hard enough.
    Jog, jog, jog.
No one’s prepared to put their body in the line of fire and take one for the team (except possibly Ogle).
We’re too slow to press and put people under pressure.
The forwards don’t make enough runs and false runs.
The midfield ain’t dynamic enough. They don’t break forward enough nor shield the defenders well enough.
A defeat to Tamworth and we’re in the sweepstake for that play off place.
    How would you change it?
    Does Jimbob have a plan?

    Forget an epiphany.
Today turned in to a peripeteial dénouement.
We must achieve promotion this season!
At the moment, the supporters are ‘investing’ in the ‘novelty value’ of this league.
I believe attendances would dramatically slide next season if we are anchored in the NLN.
I’m starting to get a little edgy.

    Did they say attendance was/is 4,672 ?

I missed how many were/are Boston fans.

    1-2 Gardener again.

Then, another mistake and it’s 1-3

It’s been a pretty even game and the score doesn’t reflect that.

Bishops just had a great chance that was more difficult to miss than score – and they did.

    Gardener (Sunderland loanee) on debut.
    It’s a watchable game.
