I am quite old; struggle to drive at night; can’t cope with cold weather because my Warfarin makes me feel like a block of ice when temperatures are in single figures – and what cold does to my arthritic body is a horror story.
    I don’t usually complain.
But, I am Iron to the core and miss far, far too many matches.
Vanarama televised matches keep me in touch.
Incidentally, in my younger days I watched the Iron on 120 different grounds. I reckon that I’ve earned the right to watch as many televised games as is humanly possible.
There are many more from my generation just like me.

    Hear, hear.

And if we don’t go up… crowds will be smaller… income will be lower… ouch… we could run aground and be stuck in NLN for a while?

Thought that he’d previously said that he was invited to a meeting at the Round Table for discussions.
Either he’s jumped the gun or hasn’t listened?

Yeovil are now 13 points clear and have a game in hand.

    Average attendance: 3,719
Highest attendance: 6,301 v Taunton on Boxing Day.
They’ve had 6,000 plus twice this season so far.

Earlier today, Real Madrid were 0-2 down at half time to bottom of the league Almeria, who haven’t won a game all season.

Real Madrid scored in the 90 +9 minute to win the game 3-2

Girona are 4-1 up against Savilla after 56 mins.

It seems Almeria were ‘robbed’ by VAR?

Girona won 5-1 and are a point in front of Real Madrid at the summit of La Liga, though Madrid now have a game in hand.

    VAR Robbery?

For your tenner, you can watch:
    Monday – Chelmsford v Welling
    Tuesday – 19 games available.
I wonder if you can watch say our game on one device, say ours; and a different game on a second device?
You wouldn’t think so but I’ll try it on Tuesday.

    Harrogate v Grimsby

No thanks to either of those.

I watched this a few days ago!

Maybe our cold is the wrong kind of cold?

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/newsround/67982205

The wind chill factor produced a minus 34.5 degrees Celsius environment for the Chiefs and Dolphins to play in last Saturday.

10 people were hospitalised with frostbite or / and hypothermia during the Kansas Chiefs v Miami Dolphins NFL playoff game last weekend.

Tent the affected area and use industrial LPG heaters/blowers on the morning of the match?

Or, ask us all to donate our electric blankets and lay them down?

Narrow the pitch a metre cutting out the ‘frozen’ area?

Or, fit those ice grip devices that you see in SAGA type sales catalogues to the players boots and don them in head guards.

Or, settle the game on the PlayStation or Xbox… lol.

Rearranged game on a Tuesday night won’t attract an equivalent crowd. Tamworth won’t bring 500+ and the match will be streamed.

Absolutely. A Tuesday night game would probably see a 1,000 less through the Turnstiles.

    Any news yet?

Yeah, that’s the problem with these tight grounds, certain areas often never see the sun at certain times of the year.
I really hope it’s on. We need to play the new champions elect (see betting odds) and give them ‘a jolly good thrashing’.

Most fans are appreciative of an early pitch inspection some will be coming on the train like we do so earlier the better for them. I hope the game is called off so when we do play Whitehàll and Butterfield will hopefully be available, better a night game at home anyway the atmosphere ramps up.

Think of all that lovely lolly in the tills. 600 or so away supporters.
A fist full of dollars is better than two in the bush.
    Get it played.

    They’ve sold 500 tickets already.
Looks as if they will number 600-700.
