Anyone think the Bored (sic) may just let the clock tick down and see where we are at the end of the season?
No promotion could well mean that we go part time and that we look to appoint a part time manager for next season?
To appoint a full time manager now and to have a ‘part time clause’ written in to a contract would surely make it more difficult to appoint the right man / woman?
Now that’s an idea… female head coach / manager?Under Stan:

Kidderminster 4/1
Scunthorpe 4/1
Curzon Ashton 5/1

Kings Lynn 20/1

Spennymoor 50/1…..
A poor manager will keep on pressing ahead with a system that isn’t working for the players he has available. A great manager will find a system that works with the players he has available. Unfortunately for us, it seems that Butler is currently committed to playing the system that clearly is not working.
That was why Michael Nelson should have been left alone, but relegation was the aim so he had to go.
Nelson had just developed a system with what he had and he didn’t have much and sometimes less than he thought. Never mind all his travelling each day was the most organised we had been for several seasons.
Agreed, things were looking promising under the Admiral.
Keeping the current pairing and having a Director of Football with powers to overrule might be a possible way forward.
I’ve heard worse ideas.
Baldrick & Percy overseen by Mr Bean!
In fact, Baldrick & Percy would possibly make a better fist of it than Stan & Jack?

If the Board are ‘happy’ with the club becoming a perennial NLN team… then they’ll stick with him.
If they have any aspirations of promotion to the NL and then an eventual return to the EFL – then he has to go.

Do the sums again Rene yours are wrong. Lol
League games, hopefully correct now?

3,990 averageI must have missed one set off before… sorry.

Our supposed average attendance is 4040, gates recently are around 3500 (and decreasing) as season ticket holders will continue to turn up because they have already paid for their tickets it means the club is losing the revenue from the sale of tickets to 500 fans. At £15 per ticket thats £7500.00 minimum. This at a time when we had to play a cup match behind closed doors because we could not afford to pay for the security
Total home league attendance for the ten games to date = 35,975
Average attendance = 3,598
A sleepless night for Stan tonight?
Meanwhile, back at the depot…
Two for Mr Sharp at 38 in a 2-1 for Donny!
I wanted Butler to succeed which would have meant we were succeeding but enough is enough. We will be down to a 1500 club again if this carries on, and no one wants that. The effort of Michelle and everyone else will have been undermined. I would have been prepared to give Andy till after Christmas because it’s not nice to be out of work but football is a cut throat business and he would be paid off. Having said that after yesterday he’s got to go and before our next game.
Totally agree.
We’ve gone backwards. I don’t think Beck was the right signing neither as we’ve now gone from trying to pass and play some kind of football to just lumping it forward so these so called wingbacks aren’t needed.
Trying to pass that’s a thing in itself.
Mid Midfield is the main point of concern where we needed a rough tackler with some presence.
Not only the wingbacks weren’t needed yesterday showed midfield was totally bypassed.
Bewildering the formation when it came out. Even more so that the best player for past few weeks after actually getting a start to be dropped to the bench for an unknown whom had trained one day with the squad to play straight away.
Wonder how Brogan took it being dropped. As we are supposedly the fittest team why are players rested after two games.Banjo Beck – 0 from 4 now.
Stan says that he knows what he’s doing!
I wonder how many years it took Gainsborough’s supporters to accept their fate after failing to be re-elected at the end of the 1911-12 season?
On 30th Sept 1911 they lost 1-0 (penalty) in front of 30,000 at Stamford Bridge!
Let’s hope that Michelle & her merry men resolve the current issue and that we don’t go the way of Gainsborough.
The ‘new’ contract is going to be an expensive & bitter pill to swallow.

When we go part time, will the manager be the same… you’d guess so?
