I personally have volunteered for the club this season and it’s been a fantastic experience. I’ve met new people, felt appreciated by the club and board members have gone out of their way to personally thank me when the have noticed me helping. When the club was struggling, I didn’t have the opportunity to have an influence but I’m grateful for some of the people who quietly went about their business and helped the club using their skills. I see my volunteering as an opportunity and privilege to quietly help out now.

I think Boreham Wood will be promoted and it will be interesting to see how Rochdale do next season. York, Boreham Wood and Rochdale have been the best three teams in the league this season, and it seems right that this is the final. Boreham Wood have gone under the radar all season.

Roberts leaving will free up some money. Ewing is class but hasn’t been first choice this season. Need to get Westbrook signed. Wondering if Hakeeb Adeluken will be making a return. We need to 2 new CB’s, hopefully Rose is an option we already have. We need a quality centre forward. The retained list will make interesting reading.

I would consider Byrne before Cox, he has an understanding of how the club operates at league 1 level. I think Wilcox was in a no win situation if he took the job, a lot of supporters would not be fully behind him. I believe we may have stayed up if he had been appointed instead of Dawson a few years ago when Mccall left.
