Take into account inflation and the need to have as a good a playing budget as possible seems fair.
Played in our U18 team against Burton Alb this week.
One thing for sure our fans will make some noise.
Message from a Derby fan says they were shocked at this loan. That we have done well.
He rates him very highly.
If he has had all this experience then why have they let him out on loan ?
Strange decision.
Some rate Whitehouse but do mention his lack of pace to get back, if Rance can do that job then it does strengthen options.
Then we have a 2023/24 option on him so looks like he is up to the challenge.
Not that long ago Lincoln City U18s had to raise their own funds.
Jimmy the tinkerman !
Yet again another ‘inspiring’ placement. Best wishes to Ethan from a trial with a league club to the wilderness.
As several point out the recent signing glut seems to deliver much of what happened over previous seasons. Only Ben Everton-Richards seems to have worked out and the remaining ones look good for a level below !
My big concern now is that the manager is saying the next 9 matches are ‘must wins’ ! Every game since he arrived have been ‘MUST WINS’, then you see 1 striker at home. Continually changing the team and not building stability is a recipe for disaster.
Seems the plan may not have changed which raises the question has everyone who ‘went’ actually gone ?
Has to be 9 from 9. We have to go 442 and 2 wingers to feed the 2 strikers who must work 5 / 6 metres apart.
There must be minimal changes game to game and someone who has a clue does the substitutions. No set ups to deal with opponents. We set up and they have to cope with us.
Who said he has gone ?
Never said goodbye did he ? Just vanished ! or has he ???

Will no longer watch MOTD.
Word is that the academy is not going to be funded by Hilton next season! They are looking for alternative funding but if that fails there is no chance of the academy carrying on next season
Don’t know if Lincoln City have changed but they had to fund themselves certainly until entering div 2.
Reminds me of Doyle/Roberts at Chesterfield.
He has a contract that specifically states he cannot do this. He has history for doing it, back in 2020 when his wages were reduced by £400K to £1.35mill – he was presented with a new contract that fully explained it all because of previous transgressions.
Tim Davie was brought in to introduce IMPARTIALITY, he is under pressure because a lot of people would like to see the BBC defunded so it stands on its own 2 feet. Mr Lineker may have single handedly ended its days as an public funded broadcaster.
So 2 spaces then.
We have to go for it. Our mindset has to be to win. 10 games left and we can win 10 if we make opponents have to deal with what we do.

Time to reset who is in charge. Also a great opportunity to get rid of so many.

Probably Duncan Ferguson wanted him back to see what he capable of. Was loaned out before Ferguson arrived.
Tend to take Mr Cox comments with a huge pinch of salt !
One of the worst managers we have had in recent times. Allegedly picked his squad and the only player who knew they would start the game was the Keeper, told the others when they arrived – any wonder they looked confused !!

Jai should be playing if not here then somewhere, to good to be sidelined. Taft needs to move with a view to a permanent.
His post match did sound confusing.
Well done to Cam Wilson. Took his Scarborough loan well and worked hard to earn his starts. More to come from him. Leave him in the team and work on attempts to scored goals increasing.
Has a powerful shot but not sure he quite trusts it, when he does the goals will draw the scouts.
Was a tough job for someone from a division below and the first thing needed was stability, a set formation 2 Fwds 2 wingers and reward effort by letting those that have earned it keep the shirt.
Now rarely same team starts next game and the bench changes dramatically game to game. Appears he will not admit he has picked wrong and games are running out fast .
Jimmy sounded a bit uncommitted with the new man. Perhaps was on Nelson’s list.
Did think Mr Nelson deserved a chance with some additions. But Mr Hilton opted for Mr Deans so we have to go with that. Highest level he has ever managed at and I get the sense he DOES REALLY CARE.
But has to make it 13 cup finals from now – nothing else is good enough. You don’t score if you are nowhere near the opponents goal or not take shots. Shoot in but others have go for rebounds. Then in defence no one leaves anything to someone else – they have to be 100% committed.

Nice to hear a manager in his post match actually say he let the players know his feelings.
Normally people hear nothing and I do believe Jimmy D has his heart on his sleeve.
Tom Pugh has always had an eye for a shot but he does what the managers asks of him.
Cam Wilson is the man with the shot left or right footed, he really can make people sit up.
Would imagine training with 1st team as part of his development. Don’t rush him, his coaches will have the path mapped.
