Poor ref decision for 1st pen – blatant dive and cheats prospered. The 2nd one – wrexham player managed to get both feet into where Foster was trying to redirect the loose ball, went down very quickly but clearer than the first for certain. Get back to back wins and we will rise up the league for certain.

This is a big opportunity for him and he knows it. Wish him all the best.
Hope he is someone who makes opponents deal with us instead of the previous wastes of space who lined up in defensive forms whether home or away and actually prefers at least 2 up front as opposed to 1 unsupported striker with no chance.
Jimmy not quite relaxed when questioned yet. Sounded a little rattled when specific player questions asked. Needs to relax.
Agree about Taft and Shields – do seem to be outside the playing squad. Good to hear about Fin S. in future plans suspect manager protecting him a bit – had just been out injured and will not want to put long term at risk.
Got a bit of experience now to rotate. Tonight will be a good test for progress made.
Not just Wrexham who will rotate some. We have Borehamwood on saturday so 3 games in 8 days against clubs at and near the top plus looking to get a play-off spot.
Mr Deans does have the element of surprise though and he knows you can’t score goals sat on your own goal line.
Had a former work friend. Was a couple of decades ago but saw him in Scunthorpe at 1.10pm we had a chat, he appeared the norm and the Police estimated he ended his life near to 7pm – still wonder if I missed something. Always remember him. It is tough as you say ‘ironfromafar’.
No time for her. Her ‘great team’ would probably struggle against Under 11 boys football.
Will make those that thought selection was guaranteed look at improving their enthusiasm. Do think 1 has already been relegated to back up.
Did it mention his ability to select a talented ‘chief scout’ ??
We need to go into the last 16 games with the intent to win ALL 16 games. We cannot pick and choose what we want to win. We need to be 100% positive hence the 16 game winning run.
Out of interest, and I know this is not your point, but which games do you think a team goes in to not trying to win?
I do believe at the start of the season some set-ups were to concede very few goals and if they gained a point a miracle happened – I call it targeting
Not interested about other teams. 16 games to go, our target must be 16 wins and the end result – SAFETY.
We need the win.
We need NINE wins!Draw 1-1

As with all the new arrivals – The jury is out and that includes the Manager and his assistant.
They have a 16 game trial. And never forget Jermaine Beckford – Carlisle fans called him every name possible and I think only us went for him and look what happened there. The new CB may be the missing piece.

Certainly has been very quiet and the comment re 8pm was a surprise. Not much time if it is a player for immediate selection – but you never know.
Thought Mr Hilton said he had bought the lot ?
Interesting …..
I agree IRON-AWE. Will take a lot of pressure off Owen Foster and allow him time to develop.
The risk was burn out on him and big clubs are watching on a regular basis, so why risk his opportunity to go a lot further and the club gaining financially.

Human failure yet again – not Lee Masons finest few minutes !!
For me Ben due to the usual poor recruitment the 1st years pro’s got thrown in with no plan from Mr Hill. Their form suffered as they were sacrificed. Sadly I fear some will not recover in time to get another contract, but I agree about developing our own – I always have.
We shall have to see.
A. BOYCE
J. ROWE
O. FOSTER 30 JUNE 2024
J. BUTTERFIELD
L. FEENEY
H. LEWISNO CONTRACT LENGTHS FOR ANY OF THE NEW SIGNINGS YET.
Some of the 1st year pro’s got 1 year deals with a club option of an extra year.
Hope that helps Ben. A good site to check is ‘TRANSFERMRKT’
Mason needs regular football at a competitive level, this will give him it. With Hallam not going to start is he.
Needs regular games in his position not now and again all over the right side.

The next 4 games will decide it I think. Must treat ALL the remaining games as MUST WINS.
Set up to make them deal with us, don’t over complicate. The fans will do their bit.

According to Boreham Wood we have signed him on a permanent deal for a fee.
Was out of contract in June so got something rather than nothing.
Did well at Gateshead while on loan – 7 games and scored 5 goals.
A very good signing. Heard from someone who knows him. Says he is a good lad, hard working and good in the dressing room. Will be a massive help for Owen Foster, he can have a bit of a breather having done so well we have to protect our valuable asset.
Suspect Mr Dean may have had more input than the timeline suggests. My opinion is that he was on the ball at least a couple of weeks earlier than the paperwork was signed.
Definitely need an experienced keeper, will help with fosters development, have needed one for ages now..How many teams coming here have an eighteen old in goal.Too important position to be taken lightly, fosters time will come, hopefully we will not destroy another young keeper early in their career.
Not just that but the cover we have are 2 1st year academy players. One of whom is recovering from a dislocated thumb so care is needed for him.
Has Cribb signed?
Would imagine being worked on. Seems the National League blocked any contract offers to our Academy players, which does seem to me unfair because it could allow other clubs to pick up our potential stars of the future.
Listened to pre-match. Just why did we get rid of Mr Cox !!! What knowledge !!!!
What drivel !!!

Recruit- some for now such as Fewster, McDonagh, Sembie-Ferris. The others to strengthen options by taking some pressure of the 1st yr pro’s. Mr Hilton then said another 2 due but a bit of work to do and 1 is an experienced keeper and they are vital.
First signing announced should have been a Keeper. Did think at most 3 for midfield.
Not a chance. He wanted to own the club. All the decisions were his. The recruitment plan over the last 5 years has been an unmitigated disaster. He chose the path of excessive spending. He 100% ignored the fans.
His duty was to care for the club while he owned it. To HONOUR his promise that the club would be better off financially when he left – not to leave it near broke with a winding up petition ! If his plan was a ‘gamble’ we all know how good a gambler he was !!
He should never be allowed near a professional team again .
