JD was at his level of competence. Not his fault for that, I think he achieved what was wanted – relegation to NLN !

If this squad was his choice then he should resign because the style was also his choice. Far too much over elaboration with passing that was mediocre and sideways or backwards.

They took on what was a created ‘basket case’.

In such a short time they have done a phenomenal job and they have more mountains to climb to get to stability and then sustainability. Will wait for each initiative.

    GOOD LUCK TO THEM.

Many years ago Mr Buxton complained about a Scunthorpe fan swearing at him.

That supporter was arrested and charged for foul and abusive language in a public space. He was found guilty and fined ! Perhaps some other law officers should do the same !

    It is not necessary.

6 games to go and being cautious is out of the window. What is a must is attacking attitude for the full 90 mins.

Targeting got us into this someone thought they would it would work. It didn’t and the philosophy now is what should have been in ALL games since season start.

Ferrite – would think on this occasion expenses will be the priority to bring financial stability.

There will be releases and recruits will not be on the same levels of pay but that doesn’t mean our quality will be lower. Our wages may still be higher than many clubs even in the National League.

Sadly enthusiasm is not JD’s forte and that period of mediocrity where a draw was better than a loss now yields “we are in the play offs so I will wait until then to then” attitude.

With the season ending fast approaching one hopes plans are well advanced for 2024/2025. The announcements must be inspiring.
Best for the last 6 games.

I think there will be a managerial change. Time now to reset where the club is going and that starts on the pitch. Too many have commented that after plan a in a game there is no plan b and the league position reflects this.

Excitement is what will be needed next season and a leader who wants to win EVERY game. There is some talented people out there who need a bigger challenge.

Barrows and Wilson went to free up room and money for loanees were never going to see.

Shrimpton as well and he has now had his loan extended to season end but with a 24 hour recall. Seems to be doing well at Spennymoor.

Will agree, just don’t know what has gone wrong. He was the out for any pass from midfield and then drove forward. It is as though it has all been coached out of him and at that age if they don’t do as told they inhabit the wastelands.

    Great shame.

When he was playing in the U23s he came up against some tough championship defenders – he didn’t back out and they didn’t frighten him.

Just don’t like what has happened to him, if he moves I will wish him the best and hope he comes up against those that have not helped him.

Would think budget is reasons for Wilson and Burrows going outbut I don’t get Youmbi being brought in even more so with Corbett coming in.

Who decided is it JD or LT now calling recruitment shots !

Owners are minted so it shouldn’t be a financial decision. I know they sacked the manager and put McMahon in charge but is Cox still there?

Adam Hinshelwood now in charge and Mr Cox is not listed on coaches.

Someone hinted that Neil Ardley was in contention should JD have gone. The worrying thing is Mr Cox could have returned !!

So after last night Brackley enter the top 4 admittedly played 1 game more and a few points behind but situations can change badly very quickly with a couple of back to back defeats. Need a brave manager who is attack minded from now on.

You forgot the lad on loan from Bradford via Farsley Cliff. Understandable as we’ve not really seen him.

That’s because he’s not very good. Let’s hope this Corbett he signed is as good as he thinks he is, because if he’s similar to Smith we’re on to a winner.

A creative wide player is what we’ve been crying out for since Smith left and Roberts suffered injury. I will however say that Sembie Ferris has brilliantly since coming back.

According to what Jimmy said, Roberts is 2 weeks away from being fully back, but no doubt will take another few weeks to get up to speed.

If he had potential Alexander would have Youmbi on the bench for a few 5 mins here and there.

With Corbett Peterborough would have given him more than 1 game, Darren would also have started the media machine which drives up prices of those he wants to sell – again nothing.

My issue has always been some players can contribute little for several games and yet they keep the shirt. Such as Pugh and Shrimpton can have several good games play not so well the next time and it is the bench or the wastelands for them.

Now we do seem to be targeting the play offs, that is because we targeted too many games previously. We lined up to cope with opponents and not concentrate on us.

Best to the team tonite. Got to go for it because we have no gap on Chorley.

Well checking his record he is a 6ft winger and not much 1st team game time – that is it !!

But he was born in Barcelona !!

    Don’t get it.

To Rene Artois. Fin will be enjoying it, he is getting a run of games which develops young players. Not start stop that Tom Pugh keeps experiencing !
