Telegraph and Star offices on Donny Road. Just down from OSG between Cons Club and ABC cinema.
They were going to buy one of the kiosks, but they were quoted £2.4 million for it!
“You have to suffer the lows, and enjoy the highs, and it’s those highs that get you up every day to do better. That’s what we’re going to do, we’re going to work hard.”
What highs are those then, Keith?
Ntlhe and Hallam are perma-crocks. I can’t see either racking up many minutes this season.
There’s two wasted spaces in the squad.
“Now let’s see what you could have had..,.!”

Nothing will change until at least the owners sell up.
You can’t blame the owner for that result!!
Nope!
So who do you blame?
The players?
And who brought the players to the club?
The manager?
And who brought the manager to the club and set his budget?
Think about it. Take as long as you want!

Don’t think anyone’s expectation was anything other than a defeat today.
The pop-shock was being 3-0 up after 40 minutes!

An I’m guessing Boyce is reserve keeper!
Looks like he reads Iron Bru.
O’Malley & Taft dropped. Ntlhe & Rowe start.
Only four subs???
Or have the Beeb got it wrong?
I’m getting adverts for new sheds Alcy.
Are you not tempted?

Because of Fergie too many kids walking round Brighton in red and white. Not me, I preferred claret & blue.
UTBI
Was that because you put your Man Utd shirt in a hot wash with your jeans?
Yes, too much bickering of late. Mods on standby?
But as I said before, some of us are taking our frustrations out on each other as the man responsible for the state of the club has gone into hiding.
Plus there is nothing positive to say about the football.
Good job we’re hidden behind keypads not sharing the same house!

Is this a Wrexham thread?
Can we do a BOGOF?

I think it’s spelled BITCOIN!

We shouldn’t be resorting to name-calling on here. We’re all fans of the same club ffs!
However it does show how frustrated we are all getting over the “potential takeover”.
The torture never stops!

Man Utd and Everton are demonstrating what happens when there a general air of negativity surrounding the club (as is the case at GP).
Let’s face it. Both clubs have appointed pedigree managers – Mourinho, Koeman, Ancelotti, van Gaal. Yet both lag behind their city neighbours.
Managers struggling and players not performing isn’t unique to the Iron. It also shows that throwing money at the problem isn’t a panacea for all ills.
If the biggest clubs in the country can’t sort it out why should we expect anything different at Scunthorpe?

Enough was enough last season.
But Ernie’s legacy is the gift that keeps on giving.

You don’t have to be a Professor of Mathematical Economics to work out the equation?
Speaking of which, where’s Bucksiron?
He usually has an alternative viewpoint on these things.

43 games to go.
Plenty of wiggle room!Isn’t that what we were saying last August?
As we’re fond of a lyric quote on Bru, didn’t Brittney Spears sing “Whoops! I did it again”?
Well we could be be singing that ourselves if we allow Hill to assemble his own squad only to sack him half a dozen games in and appoint a new manager to work with players he didn’t sign.
As someone else has said, a vicious circle that is rapidly turning into a vortex.
New owners first please!

Beestin was on the bench. Why didn’t he replace Whitehouse?
The man we need is commentating (Adkins) get this take over sorted then give him what he wants, or else we will slide into oblivion and it’s only 3 games in but this is very worrying.
No one will come here until Swann sells up and departs.
We are that deep in limbo!

The EFL window closes at 23:00 on 1/9/22.
Doubt if we’ll see any new faces before then.
If Gillingham are a pub team, what does that make us?
