That sounds like treason LK!
“the invention of the internal combustion engine”
Didn’t God supply them?
Perhaps, but it was Christ on a bike!
Shit! Had the 11th pencilled in.

I think you’ll find that before the invention of the internal combustion engine every town was a 15 minute city!
Ever been to Pompeii BPG?
Tudor London a totalitarian state? Yeah, right!
Or in Hallam’s case twenty minutes!

Point #1 many amateur clubs have teams from under 8s to adults there are two within 5 miles of my village. None of this is uncommon. Blyth Spartans take it so serious they’re up their own arses with it!
Point #2 The four former league club in NL(N) are, Kidderminster Harriers. Boston United, Southport & Bradford (Park Avenue). Hereford, Darlington, Chester & Scarborough are all Phoenix clubs. Although others such as Stockport County & York City have had spells there.
Point #3 Unless you win the league you have the complex system of the playoffs to negotiate. Far from easy.
Not going to be a walk in the park by any means!

That very same PL club, just down the road from me has no women’s team in the leagues.
Probably why Durham and Sunderland have half-decent ladies squads.
Don’t suppose it has anything to do with being Saudi owned does it?
Manchester and Liverpool get plenty of coverage!
Welcome to the 21st century guys!
It’s not Men in Black so you can’t erase the memories of City’s success over the past fifteen years. They have been there and done it. Legally or illegally it makes no difference.
You can physically take away their trophies but you can’t take away Aguero’s goal against QPR!
The only thing to do is to ban guilty clubs from European competitions because that’s the terminus for the money train.
Star players would soon put in their transfer requests and the replacements would not be the Haalands and De Bruynes of this world.
Not had any advertisements for sheds since Alcy stopped posting, mind!

Was at Blyth last year when he scored for Chester in a 2-2 draw.
Yep! Hill Brewery beers in the Bridge.
Not great if I remember correctly. Even though it was my closest pub I used to walk past it and halfway along Ashby Road to the Queensway.
However I do remember having a good night in there on my return from Hillsborough one Saturday in January 1970!
Our new chairman obviously hasn’t got round to repainting the disabled bays in the car park!
How many would we take to Gloucester?
Shouldn’t be difficult to be top of the attendance table in the NLN next season: –

Our season was defined long before Hilton took over.
February will be interesting but not necessarily from a ppg perspective.
Can’t see us finishing outside the bottom four at this late stage, and certainly not based on Friday night’s showing.
Unless Dean is the new Brian Clough. Cloughie once said “They told me Rome wasn’t built in day. However I reminded them that I wasn’t on that particular job!”

The ‘effin Heed won!
That’s bad enough.
This was never the game to hit the ground running.
We know how strong the NL is, perhaps JD doesn’t. Hope the hype around his four promotions in seven years or whatever it was hasn’t gone to his head.

Elizabeth 2nd was the exception to the rule of generations of monarchs in this country. She was a class act.
With the emphasis firmly on the word CLASS!

I doubt that the loans have been bought in to make up numbers.
Dewhurt and Apter both got extended runs.
“Bunker’s comments: ‘the ground looks amazing’!
Amazing comment: “the ground looks like a bunker”!

I’d say McDonagh would be a “nailed on” starter and perhaps Sembie-Ferris.
After that it’s anyone’s guess.
Fair enough. I’ll wait until it’s a category on Pointless!

Well we’ve got a forward from Barnet, but unfortunately not Kabamba!
Could have been the air-ambulance collecting Hallam from training!

It’s all well and good Bucks trying to argue that trade volumes may, or may not have recovered. But that’s akin to saying things are the same now as on 31/1/20.
The country has lost £40 billion in that time and GDP is down by 5.5%.
Some price to pay for what we had before eh?
Let’s hear about something we didn’t have before. You know, a benefit. Like that extra £350 million a week for the NHS!
