Arrrgh! We’re doomed!
If only Reform had won the election it would have been soooo much better.
He won’t go down as the worst manager Scunthorpe United has ever had. Far from it.

Bloody Hell I wasn’t comfortable watching it, especially the second half. Allowed them to have far too much of the ball. Ultimately however, they did nowt with their possession apart from the attempt that Fitz saved low down.
The league’s top two scorers from last season on the pitch and Whitehall edged it. Just wish he’d keep his gob shut. Another needless booking.
Evans my MOM but really liking Nicholson. Agree re: Carlton. Rustier than the spanners at the back of my garage. Hopefully he’ll sharpen up over the next few games.
Excellent win nevertheless. UTI

I’ve not seen us win away since before Covid.
Just saying like!
A year ago this would have been about a ground share with Gainsborough!
Yes! And I’m 71.
Just need the right people in. Look at Stockport County.
(I could have said “and Wrexham” but their circumstances are rather different)
Could always try burning heretics like in the good old days.
Why isn’t Spain in the same time zone as UK?
One of life’s great mysteries!
Never see anybody reading a paper nowadays.
Every white van I see still has a copy of The Sun on the dashboard!
There isn’t!
If you’re travelling independently go into Newcastle City Centre, then get the Metro to Bede. It’s right next to the ground.
I would think Labour’s agenda is to try and sort out the fourteen years of mismanagement they inherited from the previous government.
I reckon unmasking themselves as lizard people bent on world domination will have to wait until their third term in office.

Some people seem to forget just how far down the pyramid we’ve fallen.
At NLN level do we have the players who can be “a force that teams can’t live with”?
Last season we were beaten to promotion by Tamworth and Boston. Both are struggling to adapt to the NL. You know, that league that fans thought was the arse end of the universe not so long ago.
Going to get a lot of nights like tonight over the next ten months. Take the win and move on.

I think that’s the general idea behind most third kits.
The totalitarian regime is taking shape nicely. Please send the thought police round,I will not resist arrest,I will plead guilty for saying this.
I—Spy someone struggling to come to terms with the fact that it’s 2024 and not 1894!
Weak bladder?
Wasn’t Fletcher holding down a full time teaching job at the time?
The heavens reflect our labours!
Just like looking out of my (east facing) bedroom window circa 1969.
As is stated in the Westminster Confession of Faith-
“God from all eternity did,by the most wise and Holy counsel of his own will, freely and unchangeable ordain whatever comes to pass, yet so as thereby neither is God the author of sin,nor is violence offered to the will of the creatures, nor is the liberty of contingency of second causes taken away, but rather established.”
Your lack of understanding ,Northumbiron,is clearly seen in your last post.So says the reverend Stanley Unwin!
If we are heading for a totalitarian regime surely it is all part of God’s plan?
Even nicer to hear the new lads outperforming those brought in by the last two.
Onwards and Upwards.
The guy who scored a brace yesterday has served under 7 (seven) different managers*, and 3 different owners.
So work that one out!
*By my reckoning Hurst, Wilcox, Cox, Hill, Nelson, Dean and Butler.
No wonder Chester are the bookies favorites and that in its self is embarrassing.
My mate was at Spennymoor today and he said Chester didn’t turn up!
The Iron definitely did.
Lots of twists and turns yet. I wouldn’t be sticking money on anyone.

The BBC has banned a shedload of records over the years. Perhaps this track should be banned before it becomes a Far Right anthem? Though I doubt if any of tosspots on the street have heard of Richard Hawley.
Always amuses me that home fans can’t go without food for a couple of hours on a Saturday afternoon or Tuesday evening.
No wonder we’re getting obese as a nation.
