If there was government funding available then I wonder why WHAM didn’t go down that route?
Perhaps he couldn’t!
All depends on what form it takes and what it costs to run!

I never got an email!
Funny that!
I’m sure you’ll think of another way to give the club money.
When our squad was put together were we?
If we don’t gain promotion this season, then most of these players will move on and we’ll be watching glorified pub team players next season.
So explain how Tamworth, a club who were in the Southern League last season have managed to assemble a table-topping squad?
Sorry guys it is Hereford next Saturday, Blyth is the rearranged Blyth game is the week after on the 12th.
And unfortunately we didn’t get 3pts off Darlo last Saturday!
When did we last have 40pts in November???
On 25/11/2006 we sat second in L1 (behind Forest) with 35pts from 19 games. So thus far we’re doing better than in our last title winning campaign.
If Alcy was still here to do the maths he tell us we’re on course for a 92 pt finish.
Playing below par and winning is often the mark of champions. Enjoy the ride!

“these drop outs that are invading their country after making a third world of their own country”.
I think if you look back in history (and you don’t have to go back that far) you’ll find that it was Europeans that made them into Third World countries rather than the indigenous population!
Thanks Awaywego, but still got my e-tickets on my phone.
In Kelso all that day so it’ll be touch and go whether I make it.

Rearranged for Tuesday 12th December.
Anyone still going?
I’m guessing Tamworth’s table-topping squad cost considerably less than ours?
The days of taking the lead at Chelsea and Man City in the FA Cup seem like a million years ago!
Most of the magnificent seven (6 actually) didn’t make it past June!
Harvey Bunker, Sean Shields, Billy Fewster, Gerry McDonagh, Jake Leake???
Only Dion S-F survived!
BTW I’d sooner we sent back Jenkins than Smith.

Not often that I think that NLN refs are better than International ones.
And how lucky are we not to have VAR?

Is that big John Charles in the Ninian Park shot?
Was at Darlington v Chester last Saturday. Darlo mugged them courtesy of a freakish og and a twenty minute purple patch in the first half. Chester battered them in the second and should really have come away with a least a point.
Gowling had them fired up and I left thinking they could do the same to us tomorrow. That was until they got stuffed in midweek.
Just signed Asante who is a big strong lad. We should have enough to beat them at GP, but I’ll be happy to get through narrowly and with no fresh injuries or suspensions ahead of the two home league games.

November 17, 2023 at 10:58 am in reply to: Come and have a go if you think you’re knowledgeable enough. #277022Last Saturday I was at Blackwell Meadows for the Darlington v Chester game. That meant I’d seen the Quakers at three different home venues. Feethams and the Reynolds Arena being the others.
A first for me though I expect others have already ticked off that milestone.
Rotherham for example. Coventry?
Anyone want to post a précis of Matt’s LN interview later?
For those of us who live outside the area.

Can’t surely be right. The club doesn’t issue updates does it?
“I worked in about 20 different countries for over 35 years, but I needed all the required documents that made it legal.”
The immigrants in question would have the required legal documents if the government had a workable system in place.
But of course the Daily Mail readers would have nothing to boo & hiss at if that were the case.

NI lives in Northumberland, any place south of the Humber is southern. ;-)
When I got married we bought a house in a village called Ryton which was south of the R Tyne.
Friends, family and work colleagues were aghast that we were going to live outside of the civilised world!

Oh good is it £250 prize per month or a week I missed that.
Try reading para 2 in the link above.
Typical Daily Mail reader. Sees the headline and makes up the narrative to suit his agenda!
