If you’re travelling independently go into Newcastle City Centre, then get the Metro to Bede. It’s right next to the ground.

Old Fox by Felling Metro station is a good quiet pub on the way from the city centre to the ground.

Wasn’t open at 11 o’clock in the cup game Ferrite, we found south Shields itself the better option loads of pubs including a wetherspoons all within a couple of hundred yards of each other and near the metro which will take you back to the ground, like Dan uti said nothing near the ground at all no food no nothing.

Jarrow is one stop away on the Metro and has a Wetherspoons and other pubs.

Went into the pub by Heworth Station for the cup game, nice traditional pub.

Just note Metro has no toilets if you’re on it a while!
