And as Einstein reputedly said “ Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results”.

Some strange results last night. Chorley and Curzon both won after weekend defeats, and Hereford did the opposite. As above, suddenly it’s Chester who can’t score in a brothel after our goal drought ended.

Looks like any positive consistency of form will be the key in this league.

Not losing games is a good way to avoid relegation.

Not winning them is a good way to avoid promotion.

    Got to go for it.

I’m guessing that scouting is done electronically these days. Or do scouts actually get off their arses and go and watch players?

Good idea, I did the Porto tour just recently £15 with museum and ground tour, museum was amazing and the tour of the stadium sitting in Presidents box, and the manager dugout, chance for picture with Champions League/Europa League trophy. Scunny could do similar, just swap out CL for Lincolnshire Cup,

I noticed that we have a sponsor for “added time”.

Fat lot of good that did us yesterday!

But AB has made us fitter and stronger this season, so we can see out games.

Anyway see how they get on today. A win and top performance would be great to set up a big game next week.

Only if we arrange a friendly!

If we lose at home to Oxford City on Saturday the axle will be dragging along the road!

Most likely we’ll still be top though.

“Midfield is weak and needs a Ball winner who breaks up play, stops the opposition but then gets us forwards”.

We do, but this is the sixth tier of English football. As much as we have the pedigree of having been in the Championship and League 1 in the not too distant past these types of players are going to get better offers elsewhere. Particularly as Michelle is trying to keep the wage bill down.

It looks like loans are the only way of doing it.

Pubs are controlled environments where it is illegal to serve customers under the influence.

Alcoholics are more likely to be found drinking at home.

Anyhow the licensing laws are much more flexible these days. Most village pubs around here only open 17:00 to 11:00.

    Chains like Wetherspoons however!

Tight defences so far. Might only be one goal in it.

I don’t think they will find the new fit and aggressive Iron to be the soft touch we were last season.Maxi will probably score it.

    UTI

Great call MK. Evans for Maxi and you were pretty much spot on!

Other results went our way too. Hope the luck doesn’t run out too soon.

Passing practice for all. Kiddy’s pass success rate must have been twice ours. Hardly wasted a ball whereas we gave it away too cheaply too often.
Shooting practice for Carlton and a couple of others. Situations where hitting the target is a minimum requirement.

Was the same at Shields ‘tash.

Luckily we look to have a well drilled defence and DMF.

I guess that making us difficult to score against is a good platform to build upon.

Same lineup as Monday with Beestin replacing Carlton. Makes sense.
