So why are all the hospitals full?

I know! All of those dastardly foreigners coming over here and taking advantage of our free NHS.

Thought Brexit was going to stop all of that malarkey.

Thing is that this could have been posted last winter, or indeed the winter before that.

There’s no guarantee that if we change managers yet again the new incumbent can do any better than Cox given the players he has available. If Swann waits until after the Grimsby game that leaves just one week of the transfer window for a new manager to be appointed and to bring in additional players. We know how that went last January!

It ain’t going to happen. Even if Cox is sacked I’d expect Swann to put Russ back in charge again and the merry-go-round turns full circle.

Dismissing Cox and Lillis means another managerial payoff. Something we can’t afford especially if we need another striker. which we desperately do!

So I’m afraid it’s a bloody mess. I don’t think Neil is solely responsible for our on field failures because it clearly goes back beyond his appointment.

Highlights our big, and I mean BIG problems up front.

As pointed out above, could have played 180 minutes and not scored.

Henderson has often been our nemesis. Proven goal scorer. Something we don’t have to call on. Needs addressing PDQ.

One up top at home, and a crowded midfield.

    Should be interesting!

Are you ready to settle down to watch a football match at 1pm? I’d sooner it kicked off at 5pm or 7pm, more convenient!

5pm or 7pm is much less convenient for me as I’m more likely to be cooking or eating a meal.

1pm is fine. I can go for a longish walk in the morning and get back in time.

Not a problem. I managed it for the Orient game.

What’s the problem with a 1pm ko? It’s not as if you can attend anyway.

The last time we kicked off at that time we won 2-0. I’d take a repeat of that!

Would much rather have him than Loft, Turan, Jarvis and Mooney combined.

Would love to know what their wages total compared to what Novak was on!

    Savings, what savings?

forwards are noy finding it difficult when we have Howard in goal, all Novak needs to do is stand in the centre of our goal area,

Nice bit of baton changing there. You should be in the Olympic 4 x 200m relay team.

Emergency loans to cover key positions (eg if both first team keepers are crocked) are still allowed.

Not sure if having four crap forwards counts as an emergency in the EFL’s book!

He’s only just turned 21, and let’s not forget Villa shelled out £900,000 for him as a teenager!

Like so many of our exciting “young & hungry” prospects Bedeau has stagnated rather than developed.

Wonder if it’s anything to do with our coaching and training set-up?

    Let’s hope so LK.

31 is not over the hill like it once was, and a CMF with experience is something we’ve been missing.

My only reservation is the time he’s spent outside the English game.

But fingers crossed he can bring something to the party.

We need someone who will bust a gut to get on the end of balls. Who will use a bit of pace and nous to nip in in front of a defender.

He doesn’t have to be big and nasty, just up for it. We may even have such a person on our books.

I said the same in another thread WG.

And he’s just one of a whole (to use your terminology) raft of poor signings that hardly ever feature, and when they do look completely out of their depth.

    Our recruitment policy stinks!

Five Ryan Lofts do not equal one Andy Keogh.

He should get an experienced manager in till end of season, pay up/send the crap back and give it a go.

But he won’t. He’ll put Wilcox back i/c till the end of the season. The crap will stay. The best we can hope for is a couple of loans.

I will however say that miss was most likely one of the worst I’ve seen.

I remember Graham Rusling putting one over the bar from inside the six yard box with an open goal in front of him!
