To be honest I think Beestin was more of a saviour than Jem. Several very important goals that ultimately saved our league status.

UTI, you avoid commenting on the utter mess the club is in, then you post this, splitting the finest of hairs.

Do you agree with the majority that Peter Swann has run down the club to such an extent we will enter the new season as relegation candidates?

If not, why not? Where’s your usual optimistic spin?

So sod all chance of Jem coming back then!

Did Ernie have anything positive to say? Or just shifting the blame to everyone but himself?

Pick the most likely one of the four.

Well if he’s still here he’s not a mystery man is he? Come on cough up the info.

    Come along Watson!

Simply look back at the team that played Morecambe deduct those who have been released and see who is left. Elementary!

    Sherlock.

Unless I’m missing someone it would seem the only two full-backs on the books are O’Malley and Rowe.

Whilst not the worst we’ve ever had they’re still youngsters and should one or both get injured then we’re screwed.

The same applies to other areas of the pitch too.

I would expect a minimum of six new faces and a couple of loans.

    Or am I being silly?

Not the most up to date town in England.

I doubt if they’ve heard of video clips. Probably still use a blackboard and chalk!

So he should be okay there.

Cox comes out of it with some credit.

    Other decision-makers less so!

So only chanting counts does it?

We can forget the moron who leans over the perimeter wall and shouts f*** off! You black c***!

Because, believe me, they still exist.

racial abuse in this country has been virtually eliminated at football grounds up and down the land

That’s less believable than your God created the Universe posts, which is saying something!

Don’t think so. My mate had one (even though he lives in N/land) but stopped when they ended the deal.

I shouldn’t complain as we need signings but centre back is the only area of the pitch where we have decent players.

We lost Bedeau and McGahey, so two out, one in sounds sensible. Onariase, Taft and Davis as CBs is a reasonable platform.

We need to replace KvV and Olomola with a decent goal scorer and Eisa and Gilliead with wide man who can deliver a good cross.

    And then there’s the keeper…!

Just a bump to say how great it was to see both England and Germany united in “taking to the knee” last night.

Also nice to see Neuer and Kane wearing rainbow captain’s armbands for Pride Month.

    Well done all round.

this Leeds lad, Phillips?, was our main playmaker?
    Was he playing?

If you were German you’d have known he was playing!

Saka was taken off because he was getting his arse kicked by their defenders.

Sterling still makes too many wrong decisions, but not as many as Timo Werner!

Grealish changed things, part assist for the first and assist for the second goal,

Leaving the one man who can make things happen on the bench for 70 minutes is either stupidly or genius!

France ground their way to the last World Cup, it seems a reasonable model to follow!

Also an example of what happens when your wonder kid doesn’t score!
