The weather and Covid restrictions are worse in Scotland and all their games are on!

Read into that what you will.

“Known as ‘treatment’ if I remember. Another set of morons went by the name of ‘F Troop’. There’s a documentary somewhere about”.

On the other board I posted about only being three clicks away from far right content on YouTube.

This was my experience. Went on YouTube to watch the highlights of a couple of European games. Was directed via “you may also like” to some 70s games including the replay of the Leeds v Chelsea FA Cup Final. That led to clips of footballers fighting (Franny Lee & Norman Hunter was a goodie) which in turn led to a documentary about those Millwall firms!

    I promptly exited!

Dunno about August, but if Hill had been brought in after Tranmere got rid in May, then he’d have been able to oversee the summer transfers, which for the second season under Cox were mostly disastrous.

I doubt we’d have signed O’Neill or Perry, and perhaps Kenyon’s and Bunn’s injury records would have been picked up on.

We’d have had a B&N in the building for sure and most likely a decent captain.

All ifs and buts I know, but I’d argue he’s more savvy than Cox when it comes to bringing in the right players.

I was in the Gallowgate end for the original tie in 74. I went apeshit when Keeley scored, then realised I was surrounded by Mags. I braced myself for a good kicking, but they just stared at me in bewilderment!

    Great memories.

The 57/58 Div 3(N) winning season I assume BS.

I was just a nipper living in Brigg still. But I remember the excitement around it. I have a photo of Jack Haigh heading in at SJP hanging on the wall at home.

Pride of place for when any Mags visit!

Season 2008/09 was my favourite, or maybe 2006/07.

1998/99 wasn’t bad, and that 1969/70 cup run will live long in the memory.

Complements of the season to one and (mostly) all. 🎄

To be fair the last thing we need at the moment is a refurbished ground.

Can any of the builders play centre forward?

So we sign players who are non league standard whilst non league teams sign players who are league standard?

    Funny old game!

Swann should have been dragging Hill here in May when he left Tranmere.

    October/November was too late.

The fat lady hasn’t got out of bed yet, but it’s not looking good.

What I noticed today was that whilst the PL & EFL were decimated by postponements the FA Trophy had very few.

Scotland had relatively few cancellations and the Welsh League had none.

Should we read anything into this?

Some of the lower ranked clubs in the Trophy will have part-timers. Are the top clubs too complacent about letting their players choose whether to have the vaccines or not?

Didn’t Paddy Madden arrive in January?

A similar signing would be useful!

The only thing we’ll miss about Taft is his height.

Rowe is a better player with the ball at his feet.

The loans can go home for me (and probably for Hill too) Pugh and Gallimore are no worse than Hackney and Wood and a fit Bunn (big ask I know) would keep out Scrimshaw in my book.

On recent showings Billson should not take Watson’s jersey.

Yes, we’ve little confidence in Swann right now, so we can only hope Hill is his own man and not beholding to the cygnet or players agents.

    Keeping them crossed until February!

Rory “clean sheet” Watson should keep the shirt.

You could tell after five minutes this was going to be a nil-nil.

With two poor forward lines the only way either side was going to score was from a mistake or a set piece.

We’re better organised under Hill. We press more and are generally harder to beat, but we create very, very few chances. Our one and only corner came in the last minute, and it didn’t beat the first defender.

On a positive note our young midfielders did not look fazed and with a bit more composure Gallimore could have got the winner. Hippo caused them problems (have I really just said that) and Bunn looked like he could add an extra dimension if he stays fit. Apart from a couple of sliced clearances Rory commanded his box well. Taft was no miss second half. I don’t know how he did his groin, he didn’t exactly exert himself in the first 45.

But we desperately need goals from somewhere.

Three good signings in January and we might have a chance.

Les, as shown tonight there is more than one turd in the squad that Hill needs to polish.

Good that Hippo has turned it around, but we need at least a dozen more transformations if we’re to climb off the bottom.

At least Carlisle and Oldham are keeping us company.

Can’t believe Green gets the nod ahead of Scrimshaw or even Loft. Or even the club cat.

    Surprised it took 45 minutes!

We are only 16 points off the play-offs !

That’ll be the 16 we’ve chucked away after being in a winning/drawing position.

I suspect it’s his agent filling is head full of absolute crap and as a result he thinks he’s way better then what he is

Seems like there’s a lot of it about!
